Yeah, this is the main point of current (third wave) modern feminism: intersectionality. That a black woman experiences a different type of sexism to a white woman, and disabled gay people experience different homophobia to able gay people.

Poverty is graded like anything in life, a person below poverty line in US would be considered middle class where I live. I see nothing wrong in that picture, show a close up of the homes, most of them seem bigger than my apartment.

Many of them are empty shells. more buildings in Detroit are abandoned than not.
I did an internship at an anti-poverty agency. The poverty is incredibly real and incredibly bad, especially in rural areas.
Cost of living plays a role though, it might cost way more to live here then it does in your country.
