Some users here did for the TftB demo so it's not impossible. Unfortunately, if the last time is any indication, they only allow for written impressions and not videos or screenshots since the game is a work in progress.

According to Google PAX prime 2013 (the PAX that had a Wolf demo) took place from Aug 30-Sep 2, last year they had a demo for TFTB and it took place around the same time.

With a possible exception of the first episode, I doubt so. The Tales from the Borderlands intros are supposed to be similar to the intros the actual Borderlands games have.

It's taking no longer than The Wolf Among Us and Tales from the borderlands did, they also had trailers long before release and a PAX demo and people love those games so the same could happen with Minecraft Story Mode.
I wouldn't draw conclusions in either direction. Poker Night 2 was announced then released that same month. Different type of game and all that, but there's no rule saying Telltale has to have the same demo-to-release timeframe every time.
I imagine that they were planning to demo Minecraft at PAX no matter how far along it was. I could see a release happening as early as September or as late as December.

Wolf got a demo at PAX and that didn't come out until October. I thought it would come out in September. Oh well.
