I FOUND ALL TEN FREAKING CHECKPOINTS IN AN HOUR, I'M SO FREAKING HAPPY I MIGHT EXPLODE! Ahem, that was all the screaming I have the energy for, so I'll be a bit calmer.
As I have probably drummed into your brains way too many times, I had an orienteering test today :P I was not expecting it to go well, seeing as practice last Friday went freaking terrible and left me in a sour mood. Anyways, I woke up a lot earlier than I should've, followed @nohuhhuh's advice and had a big breakfast of plättar (I'm confident there's no English word for mini pancakes... right?).
Upon arriving at the starting point I felt terrible, I was pretty sure I'd get lost and fail. I felt a bit better after passing by my first checkpoint and by the time I'd gotten three I was somewhat more confident. And I did well! Sure, I got slightly lost once and stepped in a swamp so my entire foot got wet, but overall I think I did well.
I'm pretty darn proud of myself even though I'm overreacting, I wasn't back in time to get an A (I'm not a bloody cheetah, I can't go through the woods in 45 minutes :P).
@John_Smith13, no luck with finding the fountain of youth but I did find a creek which led straight to a checkpoint so that's something
IT'S NOT MY FAULT THERE WAS A CHECKPOINT ON A GRILL SITE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE (who even puts a grill site in the middle of nowhere, there weren't any paths and it was surrounded by a bloody swamp!) AND THEN TWO WHICH WERE UP A STEEP HILL FULL OF IDENTICAL BOULDERS!
And that's probably too, at least I have something to be proud about. ;>> I try to know most of the films if even only from their name, I could talk about almost anything without seeing them just based on my information about directors and actors etc. lmao.
I'm currently reorganizing so my movie collection isn't in a condition I would like anyone to see it in. But you can have a picture of the movies I still have to watch/rewatch if you want, might surprise you.
I know, I'm so happy now, and I just got a job at a lawyer firm in town so that's one more thing done, I can't believe how well today is going
They were kinda stale tbh but plättar are always lovely ^-^ I tried google translate and it answered "platelets" but we're not talking that type of plättar...

...it was terrible. I stepped onto the moss because there was nowhere else to go and it felt like sponge :P I had to continue with a soaked sneaker for the rest of the run.
