Which of the 5 senses would you not be able to live without?
They are,
- Touch
- Taste
- Sight
- Smell
- Hearing
If I ever went totally blind I don't think I could live. Going blind is my biggest fear.

Probably touch... because reasons...
( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
For reals I probly couldn't live without hearing, especially if from birth, since then you'd be mute as well.
Ironically, sight.
The thought of going blind scares the shit out of me and I'm extremely protective of my (comparatively) good eye.
Losing one eye must give a lot of insight... on sight... (no pun intended)
Actually, I never lost an eye. I was born with an underdeveloped optic nerve and it just happens to affect my left eye more. Plus my vision isn't binocular, so my left eye is just kinda uselessly sitting there unless I focus on using it.
Sight, I feel lost even without my glasses.
Oh, that kind of sounds worse, having a useless eye...
And here I thought you lost your eye in the war by getting a nuke land straight on your face, facial reconstruction surgery was never fully complete...
Sight you can see ur family ,friends, movies, games and the beauty of the world to me the most important without it ur f**ked imo
It was only a tactical nuke. No big deal.
Also, having a useless eye from birth is preferable IMO. I have no sense of what I'm missing, and the eye muscle were strengthened when I was a kid, so people can't tell that it's basically useless.
Definitely sight, it would be unbearable. Not being able to see the faces of the people you love, not being able to watch movies or do any other activity that you used to do anymore. On second I would pick hearing though to me it seems less horrible than losing your sight. Taste, touch and smell are not so terrible, it is definitely a bad thing and it must be hard to live but you could still live a pretty normal and happy life without it. You could still do the most important things I imagine.
Sight definitely
Sight. I would be horrified if the only thing I see is darkness.
That makes two of us with ironic answers. :P
Hearing. I wouldn't mind being blind, plus I think hearing would be best for learning to speak.
All of the above.
Sight. If suddenly I couldn't read or draw I would freak out.
Sight without a doubt. Same feeling as @Abeille above I wouldn't be able to do my favorite things like drawing or reading.
Sight or hearing.
I'd say hearing, without it, how could I listen to Metallica?
Sight most definitely. Also, of all of those, touch is literally impossible to lose.
Hearing . I love music.
I wouldn't mind going deaf at this point, deafness runs in the family so i wouldn't be surprised if i need hearing aids in a few years. All that aside, i'd rather keep my touching abilities.
Sight. I'm terrified of the idea of not being able to see. Even if I'm deaf (probably my second most important sense), I can at least still play video games.
Definitely sight. The others I'm sure you could adjust to quickly.
If I lost my sense of touch, then I would become most clumsy, but I think it not so bad as losing the others.
A loss of taste would drive me mad, yet I do not need taste to eat.
Losing smell does not sound TOO bad to me.
Hearing would be a huge loss, but a tolerable one.
A loss of sight would inhibit ALL of my most favourite activities.
sight.
Sight.
Losing my sight is my biggest fear, since I am already short-sighted, which reminds me that I had a bad dream about that just the last night..
Sight. Not being able to see what be terrible
Hearing and sight are the ones I would hate to lose, it's hard to pick which one is more important to me.
I would probably say hearing is more important.
It's between sight and hearing but I'd pick sight. It's always been a fear of mine to lose my sight (Similar to what NarijaaNo7 said earlier as a matter of fact).
Sight, id rather be dead than blind.
As an artist, I would literally have nothing to live for if I lost my sight. I could still write, but being able to create things and see them is one of the most rewarding and wonderful things I can imagine doing with my life.
But a super close runner up would be hearing, because music is the best mood lifter for me.
BLEH I don't want to imagine ever losing any one of those senses, I would give up taste and touch as long as I could keep my sight and hearing.
If I was blind, I wouldn't be able to see my loved ones' faces, or my future children when they're born or my mother's last breath.
If I was deaf, I wouldn't be able to hear laughter, or the rain or music. I wouldn't be able to hear the people I love say "I love you too".
I could live without taste or touch or smell. Just let me see and hear.
Sight.
Sight is the one I value most without question, but I'd like to inform others of the importance of a sense of touch which is often overlooked.
Without touch, you'd probably die pretty quickly. You could get a critical injury and have no idea, and end up crumpled on the ground before you know it, unable to move your body any further. Pain, an extension of touch, keeps us alive. Eternal numbness is no fun, and often leads to a very short life ...And the metaphorical implication of death by lack of pain is rather grand, in its own way.
That almost made me cry.
On the bright side you'd be a good mma fighter.
