  • IGN's fine and fair reviews:

    • Call Of Duty Ghosts: 8.8
    • Alien Isolation: 5.9
    • Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare: 9.1
    • Life Is Strange Episode 4- arguably the best episode: 6
    • Call Of Duty Black Ops 3: 9.2

Now I don't think it's neccesary to bring up their crusade against penultimate episodes... but I'll mention it anyway.

    • The Walking Dead S1- Episode 4- 7.5 (not such a bad score, but the episode was way better than 7.5 )
    • Game Of Thrones Ep 5: 6.5
    • The Lis ep 4
    • Tales from the Borderlands Episode 4: 6 (whatever you may think of GOT, the fact that they gave TFTB 4 a SIX is ridiculous.)

Here are a couple more reasons why I don't like IGN.

    • MItch Dyer
    • Greg Miller
    • MItch Dyer
    • Did I mention Mitch Dyer?

IGN's reviews are just opinions, and horrible ones at that.

  • IGN also recently claimed that the PC can not record video. Just ignore them they are not a serious company at all.

  • The number system (IGN's specifically) is ridiculous. A 6/10 is an "okay" game. But the review barely shows anything good about the game and drones on and on about the flaws. Makes it seem like it's worse than okay.

  • Oh Mitch Dyer, claiming NG3 RE is bad and worse than the vanilla version because it's harder, when one of the reasons he gave NG3 a 3 was because it's too easy. Then again, there's still plenty wrong with NG3 RE, compared to the other games in the series.

IGN's fine and fair reviews: * Call Of Duty Ghosts: 8.8 * Alien Isolation: 5.9 * Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare: 9.1 * Life Is Stran

  • Why I hate IGN:

    • Dan Stapleton.
    • Mitch Dyer.
    • Greg Miller.

Seriously, when are they going to fire these guys? -_-

IGN's fine and fair reviews: * Call Of Duty Ghosts: 8.8 * Alien Isolation: 5.9 * Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare: 9.1 * Life Is Stran

  • Also the point system drives me insane. What the fuck is a 8.9 suppose to be? Round it up to a 9, there is almost no difference! That seriously bothers me, .5 is totally fine, but a .9???

  • Greg Miller left IGN a while ago

  • IGN is dumb. Let's just leave it at that.

  • i dont like IGN but i agree with them on this one. sadly :(

  • What the...?
The whole season did come to a conclusion and you can't call the finale a cliffhanger, the storyline was over, it's not like they have to show all the rest of the characters life to satisfy us. It wasn't about being a politician with Mira like some people love to pretend, it was a boring and unimportant storyline since the beginning, it's telltale, not mass effect where you actually change the outcomes, so the political part of the game is just dumb. Ign's review is so bad,did they actually play the game? Anyway, i will just say i'm glad about what happened in Mira's story, it's been a long time coming. And the battle was awesome, i feel like i got what i wanted and some more.

  • Yess. I really like how there are multiple scenes that don't happen depending on who survived the end of ep 5. Pretty sure that's a first for TT. I enjoyed how the story was handled too. Killing off every forrester except for one or two like just leaving Ryon would have been too depressing.

I don't know. I don't really agree with IGN's review. Sure, Telltale should've made a little bit better the storytelling in this episode but it was an amazing episode nonetheless. I would give it at least a(n) 8.5/9 out of 10.

The storyline is not over, they confirmed season 2, saying choices made in season 1 directly affect the next. The story left so many plot holes open its embarrassing. it needed to resolve the season's primary story arcs, not stretch it out for another season, just because they announce another season a couple of days after the final for S1 released, is not an excuse for having unresolved endings for the last episode

  • The Call of Duty reviews seem unfair to me. They should have a lower rating in my opinion.

  • TV also doesnt resolv everything in season finale, that is why it is called season. TT planned season 2 all along.

  • I agree with most of IGN's reviews, because those games deserved it. But I do not on somd though.

  • yes the storyline was over, ironrath fell, now they are going to move on and tell another tale in season 2, that will probably involve all of the "plot holes" you mentioned. BTW, you can't call something a plot hole just because you want, there is going to be another season, another story.

  • Deserves 7/10 at the very least, sure the finale raised more questions than it resolved and pretty much left us hanging with no closure or resolution and Mira's storyline got wasted away, but overall it still has good quality Telltale craftsmanship all over it and for that it deserves not a 6.7/10 but a 7/10 at the very least.

I personally think 8.2/10 is a better rating.

  • Do not believe in Critic Score, believe in User Score !!!

  • Considering what kind of people work(ed) there, I don't trust IGN's judgement in any way. If this review were higher, then I would would have agreed for the first time. Deserves at least 8 IMO.
