"Ban Muslim migration & the Internet." What's scarier; his ideas or the fact that millions will vote for him?

  • "One does not simply elect Donald Trump for president."

Not if the people voting are simple themselves.

  • What's scarier; his ideas or the fact that millions will vote for him.

Peobably the latter. Ideas on their own are not to be thought of as having much significance. But when people start agreeing with it, that is when it becomes a potent force.

  • The US is screwed if Trump wins for President.

If Trump gets elected, we should just go Fallout-style and build Vaults to wait out the 4-year apocalypse that will be his presidency.

  • Not only the US, believe me.

The US is screwed if Trump wins for President.

  • We can discount all of the unethical social and biological experiments, right?

  • Yea, since the US technically runs the whole world.

Not only the US, believe me.

  • I wouldn't say the whole world, but rather that it has sway over most western countries.

Yea, since the US technically runs the whole world.

  • So you mean I can't go into a vault with 999 women and me being the only man? Damn!

  • In Trump America? Unlikely :P

We can discount all of the unethical social and biological experiments, right?

  • That's not what I said. What I meant to say is that the US has a lot of power that can (and will) be used in all the wrong ways if Trump becomes president. But the US has about the same influence over Europe as Europe over the US, so I wouldn't really speak of the US running the World.

Donald Trump is a cancer that needs to be contained. If he becomes president, who knows what will remain of the US after his presidency ends.

Yea, since the US technically runs the whole world.

Well, it's like when the castle was surrounded back in the day and everyone who tried to pass was killed without an exception.

My point is, it's hard to tell who is a normal civilian and an enemy trying to pass through. So by not letting anyone in, you get the best results in terms of preventing leakage.

Here in Europe politicians did let almost everyone in it seems and now Donald Trump knows where it led us. At least the potential American president is trying to take an action.

Only problem is that people like Donald Trump can be very unpredictable. History is full of dictators who became such after trying to do the right thing.

  • Exactly.

What I was trying to say is that US holds so much power that most countries ask help when the country is fighting another.

That's not what I said. What I meant to say is that the US has a lot of power that can (and will) be used in all the wrong ways if Trump bec

  • Trump is the voice of the American proletariat. Which begs the question : how did our proletariat become so fucking stupid?

  • oh man, this guy

    this fucking guy

i can't tell if these people are cheering because they support him, or if they're just doing it out of pity, like putting your kid's shitty drawing on the fridge like it's an accomplishment

In America, more people on average are crushed by falling furniture every year than are killed by terrorists.

We don't need to burn our constitution and resort to ethnic cleansing to stop this "leakage" of which you speak. That notion is just disgusting.

All the presidential candidates are offering to take actions. It's the actions themselves that differ, and some of them break international law, such as makign it illegal for billions of people to enter the country based on religion (not to mention contradicting the freedom of religion concept asserted in America's constitution).

  • Tell us something we don't know.

In all seriousness, i've heard many things about this prick, if he becomes the new president then we're all fucked.

  • edited December 2015

He's just telling the potential voters what they want to hear. I doubt he actually pulls H card out from his whatever.

Also, he has no experience of what it's like actually being a President. So his viewpoints might change rapidly once he actually must do all that work.

  • Trouble is, that would be breaking election promises, which would give the republican party (to whom he is already rather unpopular) an excuse to uproot him.

I rather hate this prick very much. Although, I am concerned with 25 k refugees coming into Canada, since I know ISIS will take advantage of that opening. But lest, not all Muslims are ISIS and are bad. Not all Muslims desrves bad treatment like some are giving them. Has some forgotten people in their country killed one of their own countrymen as well? Look at all the school shootings and other shit that happenes. I can see America (the system I'm talking about, maybe the world too if this keeps up) becoming as the real life Brotherhood of Steel from Fallout 4. Complete discrimination, has major power and major paranoia. You can compare the treatment of all Muslims to those that BOS discriminate all ghouls/synths (which actually some have good ones in their races). Trump is your real life Elder Maxsom, someone who's blindly followed. And from my experience in watching the game, the world of Fallout 4 and reality is so relatable it's mind boggling. In our world today, the assholes reigns supreme over the ones who are actually good. Our world is so shit, we're already in hell.

And banning the internet? What the fuck?

One thing is for certain, Trump will only make things worse with his corrupt ego.

  • There's been a petition in the UK with over 250 thousand signatures to ban him from visiting us XD

  • That's if you get vault 69, and don't get one like vault 68, 17 or 106.

So you mean I can't go into a vault with 999 women and me being the only man? Damn!

  • One person can be rather intelligent by themselves. A large group, however, can also be unfathomably stupid.

  • I get why symbolically this might be funny, but I don't really think a puffed up vulture being aggressive against a stranger is really all that shocking.

Anyone see this? Laughing my ass off: Trump being attacked by a bald eagle (aka bald eagle attacks balding man).

  • Actually, on second thought. I wouldn't care if it meant I got to outlive Trump's presidency.

Oh, fuck you, Donald Trump. Muslims aren't bad people, hell, a helluva lot better than you.

I really, really, REALLY hope this asshole loses.

  • I can vote now and am thinking about voting for Trump. He would be a hilarious president and the world's already going to crap anyways, so why not just go all in?

  • Only a man on a cloud can save us!

  • Just the symbolism, I don't think anyone is shocked that a carrion bird is being aggressive? Can't see much shock in the article, only laughing at the symbolism.

The things he's saying would be funny if he were a disheveled solicitor raving in the streets or your drunk grandfather at a family gathering. Not when he's somebody who has the stage and influence to actually inspire acts of violence against the groups of people he's lambasting. There's nothing "hilarious" about breeding hatred and stigma towards people who are already disproportionately targeted for hate crimes.
