Final Fantasy... lol anyway, I don't think it should matter how many games there are in a series, the same quote goes "Don't like it? Don't buy it." some people are actually excited for the Assassin's Creed games and the one I mentioned - Chronicles, actually began releasing last year, Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China released on April 2015, so in technicality it's not new.
I do like Assassin's Creed games but I don't understand why Ubisoft keeps making sequels every year, it makes the franchise very overrated. The worst game so far is Unity. I'm waiting to get Syndicate

Ubisoft probably keeps making sequels for a variety of reasons such as fans demanding more games, adding more story to the series, the biggest is probably because they want to make money off of a very popular game title, it's entertaining for fans and a good way to make money for them. In terms of overrated, I never understood how something can be overrated, especially since how much praise something gets is entirely dependent on each individual, I don't believe anything is overrated.

The stories of the main assassins being Altair, Ezio and Connor are still the best. Also when Desmond died, in later games, the stories outside the animus are completely shit.

Mirror Edge is not really a shoorter series. Of couse its a option. the main point is to run through the level using agaty to take down the cops that come after you. yes you can keep up the gun and kill everyone you come across but the gun controls were really hard to control, well at least for the original.
appearently the 2nd game tells a presqual story with a open world location. so there would be more ways to escape and get around. While I am sure the up coming game has the shooter option its not the main point. Mirror's Edge wasn't design as a good shooter series. you want a good game with smooth controls. since that's not what usually I play I don't have any recommendations. sorry.

Really the Mirror's Edge series is known for puzzle action platform levels you mainly use Parkour to go through the levels and basic hand to hand to take down the bad guys. and while the gun factor you can use its not a key element. I am talking about the first mirror's edge that came out in 2006 I believe, anyway the develpers didn't put much work in the gun controls - and it clearly shows, everytime Faith picks up a gun it slows her down, you couldn't move well and the aiming was off. the second game might have better gun control, however it wouldn't the main player element. It's not really a shooter series. Try Call of Dutry, or Fall Out 4 there are really good controls for shooter games. I would say that Mirror's Edge series would be for people who like action games like Prince of Persia, mixed with Parkour elements form series like Infamous.
if you still think you might buy this I highly recommend looking up the behind the scene videos for the Mirror's Edge 2 on youtube, they show early game play. the new game is released in May this year. If you like games like Prince of Persia then you would like this series but if you look for a new shooter game then Mirror Edge isn't the series for you.
2016 will be a wonderful year for me with three of my favorite licenses will made new games.
FIRE EMBLEM FATES (WITH ONE YEAR OF WAIT GOD DAMMMMMNNNNN JUST GIVE US AN EUROPEAN DATE URRR)
DEUS EX MANKIN DIVIDED (With six months of late. But it will be release three days after my birthday so I can made (NOT) subtile winks to my friends about what marvelous birthday gift I'm hoping to have from them.)
AND
MASS
EFFECT
FUCKIN ANDROMEDAAAAAAAA
(I'm not the kind of discreet fan. Especially for Andromeda. I'm ready to fly at the E3 in June and punch Bioware's ass if we don't have a proper ME Andromeda teasing this year.)
Batman Arkham Knight (uh, yes the game did come out on june2015 but I'm hoping for a proper pc version in 2016 because from what I've heard of the game is still broken on pc)

sighs Another Assassin's Creed confirmed? When will Ubisoft ever stop? This series went too far
The Walking Dead Season 3
Michonne
Apart from those I can not come up with any other game at the moment, since Silent Hills is dead as the Alien franchaise should have been since 1992.

Not Tell-tale:
Mirror's Edge 2
Tell-tale:
Walking Dead Michonna and series 3
Game of thrones series 2
It isn't confirmed GOT Season 2 comes out this year. It's very unlikely
Personally my favourite was Ezio's, Assassin's Creed II is my favourite of the series.
Mafia 3
I´ll like to play in 2016 all the steam games I bought on 2014-15 and never got to even install them.
Also, fallout 4 DLC´s, c´moooon, not that many side quest I need more stuff.
Yes, same
There wont be that much shooting in Mirror's Edge 2 just puzzles right?

I have a feeling Detroit Become Human will be released in 2017 but I hope it comes out this year too.

After playing Fire Emblem Awakening i would like to add Fire Emblem Fates to my list. If it is anything like awakening it will be great.
Games I'm most looking forward to
And games I'm not really looking forward to that much, but will play anyway :P
The only games I'm looking forward to are Firewatch and TWD: Michonne, man 2016 is a disappointing year in gaming...
What do you mean? 2016 is just getting started.
Really the only game i'm looking forward to is The Walking Dead: Michonne
I think he means that not much games are coming out this year that he will play...
You don't have other games to play other than Telltale?
I play other games but i'm not looking forward to them
Hey bud, Overkill's TWD just got pushed back into 2017. Quick, change your answer!
No, I read the wiki and it said it's gonna be this year
It just got pushed back today. It's on gameinformer's front page.

I own it. It's absolutely fantastic. I prefer it to Awakening.
Oh yeah, this game is coming out this year. Looks fun from the demo that came out a while ago.
