well if this year the all white nominees were great and the possible black nominees wernt as great then thats not the white actors fault for being nominated. leo and the other nominees are professional actors if you want to get an oscar youll have to be better than professionals that were nominated. you cant expect less professional actors to be nominated and win just for "equality". leo is nominated a shit ton of times and never wins. cause he isnt as professional as the other actors. so he gets better and better. but chances are he wont win this one because there are also such things as a pity oscar. so im pretty sure eddie redmayne is gonna win cause the oscar judges dont wanna be "transphobic"
I wasn't 'randomly offended' and I don't think I'm offended at all, I just think you're wrong. Nor am I 'triggered.' If you're going to use … moremock tumlbr-speak, at least get the terms right.
But you're talking out of both sides of your mouth - you're making a book with 4 white characters, and you have a preference towards having those roles beign given to white people, as are a lot of other writers. That's your right, but then don't turn around and say "maybe they need to be better at acting."
I really hope he wins this year. This man has been working his butt off for years and still hasn't won an Oscar. I think he should have won … morefor the role as Jay Gatsby in "The Great Gatsby". He should have won a lot of Oscars after all the roles he has played. He is a great actor. If he does win this year, I am going to have a heart attack from happiness.
I don't think he's saying that the Academy should be forced to give the award to a black person because of their race. He's just criticizing Hollywood's racial bias. I don't believe that ''not so good acting'' is the real reason behind the lack of black nominees/winners. There's clearly a tendency in Hollywood to pick white actors over black ones.

Hopefully. But the Academy doesn't seem to like him for some reason. He wasn't even nominated for, Catch Me If You Can, and he should've won for that movie.

I hope so, never got why he still has not. :S
I'm honestly going to scream if he doesn't.

No for The Great Gatsby. He should've won it for The Wolf of Wall Street.
I hope not. Honestly Bale deserves it more as he's deserved one since 2001 because American Psycho
Well, Bale is only nominated for best supporting actor this year.
And the winner is...
I haven't gotten the chance to watch it, but I heard it was great.
If he does win an Oscar then internet will go crazy, so yes, I hope he does!
Maybe XD

Who decides the winners?
People who have better lives than most of us.
And by that I mean a bunch of old snobby cinephiles who like arthouse shit.
Like yourmoviesucksdotorg? lol I'm jk. I love that guy, but he can come off as a bit pretentious at times.
