I'm surprised to see that Pulp Fiction only made it to your Number 9 Spot. You've got me thinking though I'll have to think up my top 10 and post it.
Kind of an understatement because I have a Top 20. No way in hell am I posting all of that, so consider these the best of the best.
Think long and hard dude. I've constantly changed my list, adding movies and removing them. It's gonna be extremely tricky.
Beat me to it. I had a thread prepped in another tab because I was surprised no one had made a list for this yet. So many lists lately. Here's mine:
Honourable mentions: Great Expectations (1946 version), Gran Torino, The Worlds Fastest Indian, The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty, Bourne Trilogy, Iron Man, Surf's Up, Star Wars as a whole.
Lol. Sorry about that mate.
Nice list. I wanted to add Gone Girl to my list so badly, but Whiplash took that spot. Django Unchained almost made it as well, but hey nothing beats Pulp Fiction. :P
Call me crazy, but I haven't seen The Godfather yet. I just couldn't get around to it.
No apologies needed, just a thread haha.
Personally I still haven't gotten around to watching Pulp Fiction, it's funny because I actually own it but I just need to find a time I can sit and enjoy it.
Yes...you're crazy...but i guess I am too. I'll promise myself to watch Pulp this week.
Not really in any particular order, just some of my favorites:
1. The Shawshank Redemption
2. Heat
3. Catch Me If You Can
4. Pulp Fiction
5. Finding Forester
6. Entrapment
7. John Q
8. The Fast And The Furious
9. Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels
10. Snatch
11. Fight Club
12. Training Day
13. Gladiator
14. Resident Evil
15. Blow
16. Terminator 2: Judgement Day
17. Bicentennial Man
18. Ironclad
19. Kingdom Of Heaven
20. Blade
If I were to write this list again there would probably be a few films in different orders and maybe even a few different films but these are probably some of my most watched and therefor most enjoyed films of all time. This really gets you thinking and makes you realise just how many films you like.
I have a lot of favorite movies but Castle In The Sky by Studio Ghibli absolutely won my heart.
My Mrs is a massive fan of this film and she said it would definitely make it into her top films of all times list. She is a huge fan of films animated by Studio Ghibli
Can't think of much right now, but one of my favourites is "How to be a Serial Killer" starring Dameon Clarke.
In no certain order.
-Shawshank Redemption
-V for Vendetta
-Happy Gilmore
-Billy Madison
-Zombieland
-Boondock Saints
-The Nightmare Before Christmas
-Die Hard
It really is a great movie. I don't watch much anime (in fact, hardly ever), but Studio Ghibli always delivers, and this was their best imo.
My list has been changing lately but here's my top 10 for now
1 Jurassic Park
2 The Expendables 2 (I love this but after a re-watch recently I'll probably bump this down, maybe out of the top 10 eventually)
enter link description here
3 Pulp Fiction
4 Jurassic World (I love this for nostalgia reasons just like why people LOVE the Force Awakens when it really isn't that great, I'll actually admit and accept the flaws with this though and not say that all criticisms are bullshit like most Star Wars fans I've talked to can't do- this will probably get bumped down though)
5 We Were Soldiers
6 Gran Torino
7 Hot Fuzz
8 Goldeneye (My favorite Bond movie with my favorite Bond actor Pierce Brosnan)
9 Kingsman: The Secret Service
10 Indiana Jones and the Temple of doom
Honorable Mentions: The Hateful Eight, Kill Bill (I like Volume 2 more), Martha Marcy May Marlene, Tropic Thunder, MASH, Shawshank Redemption,
I don't really have a rating (except for JP being number one by far), so here are some of them. It's pretty random lol.
Damn you put 20 haha. Guess I'll put mine if you're willing to do that.
Now Heat is a movie I really wanna see man. I WANNA SEE IT SO MUCH BUT I CAN"T FIND IT. Also I heard the directors cut of Kingdom of Heaven was better. That true?
"Sell me this pen."
You saying you had 20 pushed me to do the same. lol. Plus, I couldn't make my mind up. I could probably do 50 If I only had the time to write them all down, I hope you manage to find yourself a copy of Heat as it is a worth while watch I really enjoy that film. As for Kingdom of Heaven I'm not sure, I'll have to do a back to back comparison. Regardless of the version though it would probably always make my top 20.
I love zombie films too and there is a destinct lack of them considering how much I am a fan of the Genre.
It's the one Leonardo DiCaprio used in The Wolf of Wall Street. Boom. Fucking easy money right there.
Have you seen Shaun of the Dead?
I put my 20 up. :P
I'm not much of a movie watcher, but I place my top three as the following:
Respect for The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
Yes I have, that is a really unique take on the zombie film genre, I loved it. That would probably be one to make it into my top 20 if I were to rewrite my list. I noticed that it just made it into your top 10. Well, now your top 20
How could I forget full metal jacket and Leon. Man you did tell me to think long and hard, I guess I didn't quite think long enough or hard enough. The number of times I've watched Leon. Django Unchained is another awesome film. Monty Python and the Holy Grail speaks for itself, classic.
Jurassic Park was the very first film I went to the Cinema to watch, so I'm fully behind that choice. Martian is a good film too, the book isn't half bad either.
Man what a great film yet another film that should ahve made it into my top 20. Damm.
I noticed. I posted a comment about some of your choices but I did actually post it as a comment and not a reply, durp. I bet you're glad I didn't do 50, lol
Yep, Die Hard is another good film. Yet another one that slipped through the net for my top 20. When there are so many good films out there and so many bad ones that I like for all the wrong reasons, it's hard to put them into a list.
The ending to Leon always gets me.

God dayum dude. It's a good thing you didn't add pictures. :P
Nice list man.
Nice list, dude. Annie Hall is hilarious. And I couldn't make it through The Babadook. A crazy women attacked a dog and I stopped there. Couldn't do it ))
You're not on your own there, It does the exact same thing to me. I have an urge to go watch it now. But I had to go watch Gone Girl after so many of you guys mentioned it in your lists OMG, without straying into the realm of spoilers, OMG is all I have to say. How did this film get past me without me ever hearing about it.
WOW, Nice list, there are a lot of films in there I haven't watched but I will check them out now.
Jaws, now there's a film that brings back memories. It's a shame they tried to stretch out the franchise though because, in my opinion the rest of the jaws films weren't much to write home about.
did you make those yourself??? the posters i mean. those are badass.
ill post mine some time, too hard to list them all rn.
Yeah,I hate that it gets mixed reviews from critics- better than Saving Private Ryan in my opinion.
I'm curious, what is it about temple of doom that makes it your favorite of the Indiana Jones movies? I love it too, but I've always preferred Raiders and Crusade.
