So Daryl is screwed?

So, in the comics, Negan brutally murdered Glenn with Lucile because Rick killed some of Negan's men. (Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't read the comics)

So, what I'm getting at, is Daryl screwed? Because, he RPG'd some saviors; Negan will feel obligated to kill one of Rick's men to make it even; Daryl

Do you think that Daryl will die by the hands of Negan? I most definitely do.

No, that's more reason to keep Daryl alive. Glenn or Morgan or someone else will get his brains bashed in and Daryl will have to live with that for the rest of the show because he's the emo character that all the fangirls like.

  • Either Daryl, Glenn, or Morgan will be the one to meet the bat. My money is on Morgan what with his everyone can be redeemed philosophy. I don't see them killing Daryl since he is a fan favorite and if he died I seriously think people would quit the show. I've had co-workers and family members said they would. Anyways In all honesty I hope it is Glenn to die just because I haven't been able to stand him since season 3. I seriously don't like him or Maggie anymore.

  • I think Daryl will get killed off at the end of the TV show when it doesn't matter if people quit the show , because it's over anyway.

  • Glenn will definitely be the one Negan kills, since I don't think the show will want to stray that far away from the comics.

  • I hope not!
I'd rather see either Glen or Michonne die at Negan's hands.

  • I'd much rather daryl die than any other character from ricks group

  • is still feel like its bad timing. Look if this guy kills Glenn in the comics then he might kill him in the tv show. Recently Glen was given the fake out death in episode in the group of walkers only to be revelled in episode 7 that he saved himself under a dumpster. I fill like the fans of the show will get a less emotional impact for Glenn since they did that.

I would called that bad writing on their part.

    you hate his character?

I admit that his character is a badass but his character doesn't give any emotional depth. His character hasn't been given any character delvop since series 3 and his brother story line.

  • I dont think thats definite. They dont always follow the comics.

Dont get the hate against Glenn. What has he done to deserve it except just being an unfailingly good guy?

  • I think Daryl dying at the hands of Negan will be a ballsy move, considering how much exposure he had since his debut in Season 1, and killing off arguably the most popular character will not only stay true to the 'Anyone can Die' formula, it will give Negan a bigger threat to the group than if he chose a side character instead.

Besides, I feel that Daryl's time have already passed, and his death by Lucille will be the perfect sendoff. Glenn has already cheated death too many times for his canon death to make the impact it had in the comics, and Morgan isn't exactly the character many would miss due to his controversial characterization.

  • Isn't Morgan dead at this point in the comics? He might be the one to go.

  • So was Carol, but she's still alive in the TV series as opposed to the comics.

Isn't Morgan dead at this point in the comics? He might be the one to go.

  • I feel only Daryl getting killed off by Negan will have the impact. Gleen could have too, but considering how he spend most of the first half of Season 6 assumed dead, it will annoy the viewers that they went through that just for him to get killed.

Morgan is another possible candidate, as his pacifist stance toward living, fits Comic Gleen who has never killed a human.

I've been rooting for Daryl to get the ax (or bat I guess I should say) at the hands of Negan, not because I don't like Daryl, but because, as RichWalk23 said, it would be an amazing introduction for a character like Negan and, after the awful Glenn situation, reinforce the idea that "anyone can die." And despite how popular he is, I really do feel that he will be the one that is killed off. Plus, it would give Dwight a better reason to end up joining Rick's side later on, as he was the one that ran into Daryl earlier in Season 6, and after he sees that Daryl was telling the truth about Alexandria, and feeling guilty about Daryl's death, it would make his transformation all the more better.

I do like Daryl and I dont want to see him go, but his death would really shock the system. Not that I want anyone to die at the hands of Negan, especially that way.

  • They do tend to have pretty big differences. There are characters in the TV series that died pretty early that are still alive in the comics.

  • God I hope so. I hate Daryl so very much and he has very few redeeming moments anymore. Besides, it really would set the shows tone for "Anybody can die at any time."

  • Tyreese also lasted a while after his comic death, then again, he was supposed to arrive in Season 1...

  • I feel like if the show wanted some shock value, Daryl will be the one who will die, but I doubt it.

Im starting to think it will be Morgan though, because the show likes to change things around.

Morgan keeps telling Rick to not kill, if Morgan dies Rick might keep it with him, and that might be the reason for the show on why Rick doesnt want to kill Negan or anyone anymore.

  • I kinda have a feeling that it is not Glenn because he just "died", so yeah it could be Daryl, would have a lot shock factory and The Walking Dead would sure become the most talked TV show of spring after that.

  • I could see it being Morgan just because Lennie James seems to like to move around,

  • I think it will be Glenn, and it will happen right in front of Maggie. They will have one more moment together, and then just when things are suppose to "get back to normal" (or maybe right after Glenn finds out he's going to be a father) Negan will kill him.
