I don't Really get the mindset behind boycotting. I mean, yeah WB fucked up Big time, But in this case it's being made by Telltale. Not buying Batman will hurt Telltale much more than WB.
Too bad I'm currently boycotting WB due to shady practices with Arkham Knight and MKX on PC.
That being said, to everyone else who is gonna enjoy this, go ahead. This'll be the first Telltale I pass on in a while, and it's not their fault.
I think it's too early for a Batman Waiting thread, but Laura just posted this on Twitter:
I was just treated to a little sneak peek at our in-game #Batman model. SPOILER: I love it.
At least DC releases games on consoles. You know how sucky it is being a Marvel fan with a console and watching them mess about with umpteen IOS 'free to play' games? I'm pretty sure at this point that the first confirmed Marvel games on consoles to come is the 2017 Telltale game, whatever that is.

Ugh, tell me about it, DC has Injustice and rather release a contender on consoles - though honestly I would prefer a solo Marvel fighter to MVC4 since I don't really care for the Capcom chars myself - they muck about with the IOS version they can be as greedy as they like with. I'm hoping Marvel comes around and announces some solid console games soon, including the Telltale one (Marvel Noir for the win!).

No it aint 'too' early...the twds3 waiting started more than a year and half ago...batman on the other hand is definately coming this year. Start the thread man..

Those were different circumstances. Another mod suggested I make the thread a bit early, but in the time that has passed, the thread hasn't exactly had a lot to discuss and I found myself agreeing with several other users saying that the thread was created too early.

I know this has been posted about already but @puzzlebox posted a new blog post about the SXSW panel and also posted that it will be streamed on Twitch for anyone who wants to watch.
Not going to be in Austin for the show? We've got you covered. The whole panel will be streamed LIVE right from the heart of Texas. Catch it here:

Here's our brand new "Pre-Season News Thread". We decided that it might just be better to make something similar to a waiting thread, but without filler discussion during the downtime between news before the series launches. It's locked, but will still be updated and have a sticky on it. You guys are free to make threads for individual news updates, and we will eventually make a normal waiting thread for the first episode once we get closer to when the game premieres.
To clarify, we're updating it like a waiting thread, but you guys are allowed (and encouraged) to make your own threads as well to discuss updates.
The reason for this is that there isn't a lot to discuss in waiting threads a long while before the game releases, but we still figured that it might help people if we made a smaller version of a waiting thread.

It makes me think what the Marvel game will be like, genre style. We have the Wolf Among Us as our kind of standard, and by most indications the Batman series seems to be leaning towards what the Wolf Among Us was. I can't see the Marvel game being like Wolf or how Batman will presumably be, which is what I think a Daredevil game would be like. No clue what they're planning for Marvel, but we'll see.
With all the hinting and teasing from different points in time as of late, I'm thinking we are getting more than two new series this year.
Game of Thrones Season 2, Batman, Walking Dead Season 3, and (possibly) Telltale's first Super Show could all premiere this year on top of Michonne having premiered last month. A couple signs seem to be pointing towards us not getting Super Show this year as was originally teased, but beyond that, we could have the three other new Seasons premiere in one year on top of quicker releases.

You're telling me! I'm super glad to see Telltale once again prioritizing monthly releases for their episodes just as they had for their older titles. Also, more series per year is cool as well now that Telltale has massively sized up in the time that has passed since Season 1 of Walking Dead.
While back i heard some announcements on a Marvel game and then they made this DC Batman game happen. If the Marvel thing is true, are we possibly getting a lot of super hero games beginning this summer? If so, that is just awesome.

The Marvel game is true and is due to release at some point in 2017.

There have been some new tweets coming from Kevin and Job today; seems the series is coming along well.
* Tweet from Kevin: Seeing our … moreBatman series come together is pretty amazing. It’s looking sweet!!
* Tweet from Job: Finally starting to see more of our BATMAN series alive and running on screen. So very, very excited to share this w/ the world this summer!
Follow the Batman Pre-Season News thread for updates as they come!
Wasn't Tales planned for Summer too, but was moved over to fall? But, they seem pretty confident with summer so I won't lower my expectations just yet.

That was when they already had Wolf/Dead Season 2 live as well. This time around, with Telltale going back to monthly releases, that would otherwise leave a lot of downtime between the end of Michonne/Minecraft DLC and the start of Batman. I actually trust them to stick to their estimate this time around.

I think that part of the tweet was hinting at Season 3 of Walking Dead.
Don't forget, the heavily updated Telltale engine that premieres in Batman will also be used for future Telltale games including Season 3 of Walking Dead, Game of Thrones Season 2, Marvel, etc. He brought up Batman and Season 3 because those two titles are up next later this year (not counting the Minecraft DLC Episodes).

I would love for a Marvel Vs Capcom 4 to happen! However, I'm guessing they would sooner focus on their free to play mobile fighter.

Hopefully more information about Batman and Telltale's other projects.
Also, I will be watching Daredevil Season 2. So interesting date.

Oh shit, that's when Daredevil Season 2 comes out as well? I forgot it came out that soon! Man, that Friday's going to be awesome!
Maybe you guys will be lucky and the Marvel game will be on Daredevil.
I never really got into the Marvel TV shows, just not my taste I guess.
Oh man, a Daredevil Telltale game would be so great!
It would probably be so.

WOAH! So happy to hear this.
Yes! Can't wait. Another awesome team up. Seriously TTG, killing it.
Im excited. I hope the style will be twau like.
I hope Spider-Man is in this game!

Very, very excited, this summer...
Keep these "important" tweets for yourself, Job. Give us something - pictures, concept arts, dates, voice actors. SOMETHING!
New tweet from Job: "Seeing BATMAN in motion more and more this week, like a living comic! Also seeing the undead come to life on screen w/ a VERY updated look."
Job is doing a bit of Batman and Walking Dead teasing.
Sounds neat! I can't wait to see how it looks in motion.
Awesome! Keep them coming!
I wonder when Job means undead, does he mean the skeleton of the animations?
I think that part of the tweet was hinting at Season 3 of Walking Dead.

Oooooooooo~ I REALLY hope they bring a trailer (playable build...maybe?) with them to E3!
Awesome, I am looking forward to them.
I still hope that Game of Thrones will come out this year as well.
Man, I really hope this game features Batman climbing up the side of a building using a rope. That'd just make my life XD
