  • I started watching some walking dead, then a bit of the online comic and i found telltales walking dead game and got hooked. Now im here.

  • I did hear about Telltale before even The Walking Dead was created. Jurassic Park is the first Telltale game I heard about but I didn't play it, I just watched walkthroughs on youtube.

  • So... it was 2013 and TWD 400 Days has just come out. I watched the first 5 minutes on youtube and immediately got hooked by the idea of choosing what to make your character say. Of course, I immediately went and bought the game. The point is... by watching the first 5 minutes, I thought it was a comedy, so you can imagine the surprise I had when I started playing episode 1. It was a most pleasant surprise, though, and I loved and bought every telltale game that came after (and before).

I found out about them from Sam & Max Save The World WAY back in the "good" all days of gametap, but I didn't get completely invested in whatever they made (I just followed them for Sam & Max) until The Walking Dead. That's when I tried some of their earlier stuff besides Sam & Max and realized they made some pretty good shit! So, technically 2007 is when I found out about them, but it wasn't till 2012 when I REALLY fell in love with the company.

  • I watched a Walking Dead playthrough on YouTube about 4 years ago

  • Found out about them when The Walking Dead game was first announced.

  • I saw bit of Duncan from the Yogscast okay Jurassic Park, but then I didn't really mind Telltale at that time since I wasn't really aware about the game and company as a whole.

Then I just randomly stumbled upon Yogscast Hannah playing The Walking Dead Season 1, and that's where I started getting interested about the whole episodic platform.

  • I am a big fan of the youtuber Angelarts. I had been following him since I watched a funny co op of re6 he did. he started to release a walkthrough for series 2, and as soon as he start talking about the intro of first episode intro about a story telling game that make you feel certain emotions towards the characters and the fact that you make different choices that effect the characters this way or another way I was hooked. so like I pause the vid and did a seach of his walkthrough playlist and found the first series. I become addicted really quickly. then I did a search looking up tell tale and found these forulms. I joined around chrismas of 2013 early 2014 and be a member ever since.

I have been a gamer for years but userally I go for games with amazing graphics that tend to pull me in. I never really enjoyed games with cartoon graphics like the ones that tell tale use. however I don't mind them now. before playing walking dead series 1 I never heard of point and click games before. man I was addicted to the amazing voice work, anyhow since I become a member of these forulms I have met a lot of online friends amoung the members. it has been awesome to meet u. thank you very much.

  • I saw a commercial for the, at the time, unreleased Season 2 of TWD and I thought it looked pretty interesting. I bought Season 1 and fell in love with it, and the rest is history.

I saw TWD S1 in the google play store and I thought it'll be an interesting game so I played the first episode who was free and I bought the game after.

I found out about them before they even released their first game. I read that the team behind the cancelled Sam & Max: Freelance Police game left LucasArts to found a new company dedicated to releasing episodic adventure games. I skipped their first game, Telltale Texas Hold'em, due to me not being a big fan of poker (although I purchased it later), and bought their first adventure game Bone: Out from Boneville, and every game since. :)

  • My first experience with a Telltale Game was watching a review for Back to the Future and watching a friend playing Poker Night. I didn't know about the company name then.

The Walking Dead was when I really got invested in their games. :)

Because of TWDG's popularity. I saw everyone was playing it on youtube and decided to try it out.

  • I don't remember. However I found out about their Sam and Max series so I ended up playing them.

  • I had already heard of The Walking Dead but had no idea it was made by Telltale, I heard great things about it but I never played it. Later Wolf Among Us came out and I bought it about a day after it first released and loved it. I told a friend and he reminded me about Walking Dead, and sense then I've been a big fan.

  • Sam and max, baby.

  • CSI: 3 Dimensions of Murder.

I bet that's a first. First time I heard of Telltale. The game wasn't the best.

I found out about them when I played The Walking Dead Season 1. Although I did play Sam and Max before that, though I didn't realize who made it back then.

I wasn't bothered about the company at the time, but a year or two later I watched someone play The Wolf Among Us on youtube and I recognized the company. I've been a fan since then.

I was really big into Homestar Runner back in the day. (I still am) And Telltale then made a Homestar Runner video game. And then I got introduced to Sam and Max because of that. I followed Telltale through thick and thin ever since. I was even one of the naysayers against Telltale's shift to darker, more serious, choice based games.

Of course, as you can tell, I love the new telltale. I'd kill for a new season of Sam and Max though.

  • It was 2012 and I found TWD Episode 1 for free and I tried it and got hooked

  • Well, actually, I did play Jurassic Park once. (At the time I didn't really realize it was made by Telltale.) But I got more involved with it when Telltale's The Walking Dead Game Season One came out, and I ended up playing every game released by Telltale since.

  • I saw it on a bunch of WatchMojo lists , then I started to get into Jacksepticeye , then I saw that Jack had played The Walking Dead : Season Two , so I watched him play that , and now I'm here.

  • Knew about Sam And Max when it first released, but I never got around to buying it. Once they released The Walking Dead, I finally decided to give telltale a chance.

  • I used to be a big fan of Cryaotic back when I was about fifteen or sixteen. Anyway, I was going through some hard times so I would binge watch the shit out of his videos to ignore everything going on around me and I eventually ran out of content until in desperation, I clicked the playlist for his Walking Dead series. And from there, there was no going back. I enjoyed the narrative, never having seen another TellTale Game before. The only reason I held it off for so long was because I thought (and still think) that the Walking Dead is an abomination of a TV show with stale recycled content.

However, TellTale made it interesting for me. Not too long after, Wolf Among Us came out and the rest was history. It wasn't until my older brother bought me a copy of Tales from the Borderlands did I get eager to join the forums and eventually did, not having anyone to talk about it with.

    Good times, good times.
