I have to see your opinions about these questions about SW Ep VII
After I saw The Force Awakens, I have a couple questions..
I think that Rey might be Luke Skywalker's daughter. Do you think this aswell? Think about it: they both use the Force, they both used the same lightsaber, they were both raised on Tatooine, it makes perfect sense!
Does anyone else ship Rey and Finn? It makes sense as well. Judging from how Finn was worrying about Rey in Episode 7 makes perfect sense if they eventually hook up in the future movies, if Finn doesent die from his wounds in the fight with Kylo Ren...
How did they get that lightsaber back?! Last I saw the Luke's BLUE lightsaber, it fell in the reactor! How did they find it?!

Okay first off what was the point of putting that? What constitutes a troll to this question, and by putting that is just going to attract people to troll the thread.
Anyway onto your points
A lot of people think this, personally I find it a bit too obvious, I know the star wars series loves people being related but the main bad guy is already a descendant of the original characters. Plus isnt Luke not meant to have kids, being a jedi an all. A lot of people have the same theory but that shes one of his pupils and he mind wiped her after kylo went nuts,.
Not especially. Though I dont ever really ship people, they seem decent friends and thats fine.
I think that she's a Skywalker too, tbh. It makes more sense than her being a Kenobi, though I'm not against it. And I whilst I mostly just ship Jedistormpilot, Finnrey works also, and it's most likely going to be the canon ship.
Edit: Also there is no need to put "trolls fuck off" in the title, it's going to cause trolls to show up.
I just don't like trolls.
Anakin Skywalker broke that vow, too, maybe Luke did the same.
K, that's fine.
Exactly my thoughts, Lol. (apart from the jedistormpilot one.)
Well, I fucked up. I'll delete that.
I think Rey and Finn are probably just friends. there was one time in particular where one of them was like 'dont worry about it, we're friends' and I think it's unlikely we'll see any romance (which is a good thing, hardly any women in star wars make it through a film without some love tryst. Until this episode that is.).
Finn and Poe though? I can see it..
Who's Poe?
EDIT: Nvm, it's the pilot who was assumed dead. And I don't ship Finn x Poe, but I'm not gonna say you can't ship them. So I totally respect your opinion
Rey Kenobi Theory (Who Is Rey?)-STAR WARS THE FORCE AWAKENS
I think Finn is friendzoned. I'm a massive Reylo shipper (Rey + Kylo Ren) and Finn is a better match with Poe.
IDK
K-K-K.
God I love Mr. Sunday Movies.
...Ya dickhead
I wouldn't be surprised if someone flagged your comment not knowing the joke.
BRUH!
What?
Honestly, I like the theory of Rey being Palpatine's daughter/granddaughter the most. I don't think it's likely, but it would be a much better twist.
Ok how does this Reylo ship work?
Klu Klux Klan
Look it up.
It's all based in Stockholm Syndrome and mind rape.
Much fucking better.
First off, Rey was raised on Jakku, not Tatooine (I know, they look really similar- good job with the originality to whoever was responsible). That's what I think too but if she doesn't turn out to be Luke's daughter then I hope she has a connection to some character since I think it would be random if she didn't.
I don't ship them (I just don't care) but I wouldn't be surprised if they did get together.
For the sake of the plot
I meant okay, okay, okay. Not Klu Klux Klan.
Bloody legend mate.
Rey is a Skywalker. Not sure how yet, but it makes the most sense. Skywalker Saga tbh
To be honest, Kenobi was one who helped Anakin Skywalker to hide his forbidden relationship from the Jedi council. He knew what was going on but probably expected to have time to work it out in secret or something (master protecting his padawan is not unheard of.)
Now let's say that Kenobi also wasn't able to resist to have relationship that then produced an offspring. It could be somewhat possible that Rey could be that kid. Jedi order wasn't around to enforce their beliefs and forbid him from doing that.
So yeah, it could be possible but unlikely. It would be way more likely that she is related to Darth Plagueis or something like that. Be it made by the force and be the real balance bringer or whatever.
Obi-wan being Rey's father wouldn't make sense given the canon timeline and the fact that she was born fifteen years after his death. In A New Hope Obi-wan was around 57 to 59-years old while Luke was 19-years old. In Force Awakens Luke is 53 years-old while Rey is stated to be born eleven years after the Battle of Endor (11 years after Return of the Jedi), which is long after Obi-wan's death. During the events of Return of the Jedi, Luke is 23-years old, meaning that Rey was born when he was 34. This would make Rey 19 when The Force Awakens begins, so her being Obi-wan's daughter isn't possible.
A strong possibility but i wouldn't like it to be that way tbh
Finns definitely feels something for Rey, but i'm not sure if it's reciprocal. And i seriously doubt Finn will die from his injuries

Oh, don't count out those frisky Force ghosts!
I don't think it's a good idea for the writers to make Rey the daughter of Luke. It's too predictable and if it was revealed it wouldn't even be a plot twist. In my opinion the revelation of Rey's identity should be a mind blowing plot twist that is shockingly equivalent to the "No I am your father" moment in Empire Strikes Back. This why I'm a is proponent to a very crazy theory called the Anakin Reincarnation theory. This theory is explained in this video from below.
enter link description here
As far fetched as this theory is perceived to be i think it's the most creative and compelling theory about Rey that is currently out there. Because the Star Wars movie trilogy has always been about Anakin Skywalker. If this theory is real it would continue Anakin's story arc throughout the sequel trilogy.
.
I didn't liked it, too much bullshit. What hurt the most was the fact that they made New Hope 2.0
Anyway, my "educated" guess is that bringing balance to the force has yet to happen.
You could say that bringing balance of the force could mean that Light and Dark side of the force need to be about equal strength through the living beings and/or otherwise. Kind of like scale.
Maybe destruction of the Jedi order did bring balance to the force as both sides were struggling in amount of members. However it might be that Rey is the one who actually does that. Plus if she's "Anakin Skywalker's" reincarnation it would make even more sense as he might want to get the job done.
Even though it was part of expanded universe, Darth Sidious managed to do ghost trick too and take control over his clone to continue his reign. So it wouldn't be out of the question have yet another force impregnation in the series.
But her being his granddaughter is.
Rey being his granddaughter is possible (that's assuming Obi-wan had any offspring before he died) but not probable. If he did have any offspring, it wouldn't make sense for him to say to Luke that he was the last and only hope in defeating Darth Sidious and Darth Vader. He most likely would have had his son or daughter help Luke out. And I think it's been stated somewhere (the novels I think?) that ever since his self-exile from the Jedi Order, Obi-wan had been watching over Luke on Tatooine from the distance as a stranger/hermit since the latter was a baby.
"And now young Skywalker... you will die."
Now i'm wondering who the mother would be
I think the consensus the believers of the theory reached, is that Rey is either the granddaughter of him through someone Palpatine had a child with in the Clone Wars era, or daughter he had during the Empire era...which probably means the mother was unwilling given...well, yeah.
Because this-

I would say so. all the signs are pointing that way. through if she is it would be a bit on the nose.
yeah I see the romance and I buy it. it feels plausible. if they are taken that road then I buy it.
you know that's a really good question....it didn't rest until it find a way in to a human's hands to corrupt them, so it can get back to sauron.....oh wait wrong universes. you don't know the power of the force. the force forced push it into that chest. I don't know
