Job has confirmed Batman for a "summer" release and it also looks like we will get news at E3.

I think that would almost be a certainty at this point, seeing as how the game comes out so soon as well as that being a major project for Telltale. I could also see them showing Minecraft Episode 6 for those who have not already played it, but I would say it's strongly safe to assume Batman will either be the main focus of Telltale at E3 or close to it.

I get the feeling that Batman will be their main focus at E3 as Job posted on twitter that any press who is interested seeing them should book now before spaces run out.
As it's only press at E3 i don't think they will demo Story Mode since it will be released by then but hopefully they can sneak in a small Walking Dead teaser .

July? Maybe...? Late July could be a possibility the Arkham remaster collection comes out then and I think they would want to premiere along with that around to get people interested. (also my 20th birthday is that month so I would LOVE for it premiere at the exact timeframe )
August. If not July I think its definitely coming out in August for sure!

I am; I generally find seeing Telltale's interpretations of newer series to be more interesting than continuations of other games; not that their continuations/sequels are bad, but what I mean is that I like to see Telltale taking on newer things first.
So... who else is more excited for Batman than Season 3?
I have a very good feeling about this game and I think it'll be their biggest hit since The Walking Dead (sales wise).
Plus, it's Batman, the Dark Knight, the Caped Crusader, yada yada, yada. It seems to be leaning more Wolf Among Us style, which is very good. I also like interacting with the newer fans these games bring, because it'll also allow me to discuss some other DC stuff more. Everything is basically new besides the comic characters and setting, which is also refreshing.

Same as Blind, though TFTB S2 would probably be the only continuation that'd get me more excited than a new property (unless that new property were something else I loved).

Just a general reminder - until we make the Episode 1 Waiting Thread, it's fair game for any of you guys to make threads to discuss specific news/announcements. If there is a big news update, feel free to post your own thread about it!
I (or another mod) might make a general E3 News thread if Batman gets a lot of content shared online to discuss like news articles, screens, etc, but beyond that - don't be bashful if you want to make your own thread to discuss smaller updates/individual updates.
I'm pretty freakin' excited for both, but since Batman is getting closer to releasing in the next few months I'm a wee bit more excited for it than Season 3.

That's another good point that I brought up before. People seem to be a little upset at Telltale "only going after big franchises" (because Walking Dead obviously isn't a big franchise), but this looks like it's going to make a great spiritual successor to Wolf Among Us in more ways than one.
I generally agree with what Blind said.

I think it's a new naming convention. Michonne also went from "A Telltale Games Miniseries" to "A Telltale Miniseries." I'd expect that for newer Telltale games going forward, it seems.
Yeah. Doesn't "The" sound less catchy than "A" though. I mean I guess I understand its to make it less confusing for batman fans who play the Arkham games.

I'm with you on that, but even so, I'll give it some time I suppose. Seems like a pretty arbitrary change - not that I'm using arbitrary in a negative connotation, but you get the idea.

I have never been a huge fan of the Batman films or comics but i do love both the Walking Dead series and comics so i am looking forward to TWD season 3 more but i am still really interested in Batman.

I was never that big of a fan of TWD, it's not what got me into telltale in the first place like a lot of users. I am a big fan of batman though, always have been.

Telltale will have their own one to one interview and won't be on one of the big panels, last year they did a interview with youtube and another one with Gamespot. Currently the Gamespot schedule is still being decided but you can see the holding page here which will be updated in the coming days and the youtube E3 page is also still under construction.

* Tweet from Job: Just saw some more of next week's BATMAN demo... And Sunday's @.TheWalkingDead teaser. Incredibly proud of this team. Watch closely! #E32016
Minecraft came out mid-October, and they first showed demos in late August without allowing recording (and streamed the demo in September). Still, though, Batman will obviously be closer than October.

Bit pointless when you have a grappling hook.

Inhales...
I WILL BE BATMAN! THIS SUMMER!
I am wondering if by Summer, they mean a June, July or early August release.
I get the feeling that Batman will be their main focus at E3 as Job posted on twitter that any press who is interested seeing them should book now before spaces run out.

OH MY GOD!!!!! I'm so fucking happy right now. SO many Telltale episodes to play for the remainder of 2016 ))))
June? NO way Jose!
July? Maybe...? Late July could be a possibility the Arkham remaster collection comes out then and I think they would want to premiere along with that around to get people interested. (also my 20th birthday is that month so I would LOVE for it premiere at the exact timeframe )

Yiss, can't wait for Batman.
Summer technically doesn't end until late September; I could see an August release, as that would be around the time of Suicide Squad.

While I am excited for Batman, and even though it's coming sooner, I have to say I'm more hyped for TWD S3.
Me. Getting kinda tired of TWD tbh.
Just a wee thing I noticed. Why is it called "The Telltale Series". and not "a Telltale game series" like every other game.
I think it's a new naming convention. Michonne also went from "A Telltale Games Miniseries" to "A Telltale Miniseries." I'd expect that for newer Telltale games going forward, it seems.

Personally the "The" sounds kind of more serious for me.
Whatever the reason is, doesn't matter, still just Batman to me.
I have never been a huge fan of the Batman films or comics but i do love both the Walking Dead series and comics so i am looking forward to TWD season 3 more but i am still really interested in Batman.

So, going by Job's comments/retweets on Twitter, it does indeed seem that 'BATMAN - The Telltale Series' is the final title of the game.
I hope Batman comes out in July, I would like to play at least two episodes before School starts back up.
Who is doing the voice for Batman?
That's not yet announced, but I imagine we can expect a good amount of info at E3.
Which Panel will be giving information on TTG's upcoming titles?
Telltale will have their own one to one interview and won't be on one of the big panels, last year they did a interview with youtube and another one with Gamespot. Currently the Gamespot schedule is still being decided but you can see the holding page here which will be updated in the coming days and the youtube E3 page is also still under construction.
As pumped as I am for Walking Dead, I'm pretty excited for this too. I'm also really excited to see Telltale's updated engine.
Now the question is who gets to show off the new updated engine first.
Thanks for the information! Still wish TTG could've been on the panels, if not just to see the audience's reaction to the upcoming titles.
guys Batman demo at E3 HYPE!!!!!!!!!!!
Sweet! Release can't be far out. If I remember Minecraft: Story Mode had its demo a month or so before release, so I'm betting on July now.
Minecraft came out mid-October, and they first showed demos in late August without allowing recording (and streamed the demo in September). Still, though, Batman will obviously be closer than October.
I can't wait for people to totally not record the demo, so I can't fangasm over about how awesome it looks...Yep
