Know any good TV Shows?
Hey guys, I was just wondering, does anyone know any good TV Shows? I've gotten lots of good Anime suggestions here so I decided to ask for TV Shows(live action and even cartoon )
I don't have a specific preference for any TV Show, I'll be happy to try out any genre of shows, the ones I've seen lately however are:
- Drama - Such as 'Cuffs'
- Comedy - Such as 'Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race'
- Fantasy - Such as 'One Upon A Time'
- Supernatural - Such as 'Teen Wolf'
I'm pretty much looking for shows that can be tear-jerkers, have characters with good development, an interesting plot, immersive world and have twists(like unexpected villains, attachable characters dying, a change of pace etc.)
Thanks in advanced for any suggestions!!!

Constantine: An adaptation of the comics Hellblazer. It was cancelled after the first season but still worth it to be introduced in this world.
Hannibal: An excellent adaptation of the beginning of Hannibal. Cancelled too (by the same channel) but has three seasons worth to watch, with very artistical shots and good plot. That's what an adaptation should look like imo. This one should fit your expectations.
Black Sails: An adaptation of Treasure Island. It is set before the book and is melted with the story of true pirates, freely adapted.
Sherlock: A wonderful adaptation of the famous detective, set in our days. Artistical shots aswell; and there's everything you asked for.
Utopia: A weird series.
Now I just notice I almost only watch series of adaptation. Wonder if it's my choice or the lack of creation nowadays.
Thanks for the suggestions! These all sound interesting
Season 1: murder house, Season 2: Asylum, Season 3: Coven, Season 4: Freakshow, Season 5: Hotel
Season 1 is an amazing season, love it so much. 1, 3, 2 are my favourites
Supernatural/Sci Fi/Action: Lost, Carnivale, Les Revenants (The Returned), Dollhouse, Orphan Black, Person of Interest, Cleverman (just started)
Psychological Thriller/Character study - Mr Robot, Hannibal, Breaking Bad, Top of the Lake, Awake
Political/social commentary - House of Cards, The Newsroom, The Wire, Treme
Comedy: Community, Arrested Development, 30 Rock, Pushing Daisies
Anime/Cartoon: Attack on Titan, Paranoia Agent, Kill la kill, RWBY, Archer, Rick and Morty, Bob's Burgers, Bojack Horseman
Game Of Thrones
Shameless- Showtime comedy show about a dysfunctional family
Better Call Saul- breaking bad prequel on AMC about "The rise" of saul goodman. It is a comedy and drama.
Arrow Seasons 1 and 2- Show about the comic character green arrow. It is a superhero show on the cw. Only watch seasons 1 and 2 because after that the show goes to crap.
The Flash- comic book show on the cw. A mix of comedy, drama, and action. Highly recommend it. Way better than arrow at this point.
iZombie- immediately stop what you are doing at watch this show now! Best show on tv right now IMO. Such a great show that balances mystery, comedy, drama, and action extremely well. All the show characters are awesome especially Liv and Ravi. Show deserves more viewers.
(On air)
(Animation)
(Off air)
(Animation)
(Real)
I also concur for Arrested Development. It's a comedy show, but still has a lot of development and twists in it.
I would recommend watching the original uk version of shameless its more gritty.
Not really, other than a select few 3, I don't watch TV. I know plenty of good web series, though.
TV Shows I do watch:
Steven Universe: Diverse cast, amazing music, beautiful animation and interesting story. Pretty good if you want a show to just watch in the background while doing other things, and even better if you get invested.
The Walking Dead: Six seasons in and the show just keeps getting better. Excellent cinematography, fantastic makeup for the zombies, awesome writing, loveable characters and pretty kickass scenes for the most part. Definitely one to get into.
Game of Thrones: Awesome for almost the exact same reasons for TWD's awesomeness.
Web Series that run like TV shows that you could get into.
RWBY: It's an american made computer animated anime series by RoosterTeeth, created by late writer/animator Monty Oum, it's 3 Seasons in and pretty awesome. The animation is great, the music is sublime, the story is fantastic and the characters will definitely get you emotionally invested.
Red Vs Blue: Entering it's 14th Season, RVB is another series made by RoosterTeeth based off of the Halo series, sometimes it's Machinima, sometimes it's just a bunch of Halo characters in the in-game engine nodding their heads while actors talk over it. Either way, it's hilarious, action packed and well written.
Dragon Ball Z Abridged: DBZA is an interesting take on the classic anime series taking a more comedic standpoint at the series created by TeamFourStar, telling the story in way too literal terms. The acting is awesome, the editing is well done and the show itself is god damn hilarious. It just entered it's 5th Season.
Sword Art Online Abridged: It's another abridged series that is rarely updated, but when it is, it's action packed, funny as shit and definitely better than the crappy Sword Art Online itself.
The Adventures of Bob and Steve, the Finest Official Unofficial Splinter Cells: This series is long dead, but it was a Machinima series produced by G4 (yeah, who remembers that fucking channel?) about 2 moronic Splinter Cell agents "saving the world". It was comedy based and pretty funny honestly.
The Search for the Worst: A review series by I Hate Everything. It's pretty entertaining watching him pick apart and make fun of absolutely terrible movies. You'll probably find enjoyment in it if you appreciate extreme nitpicking.
I know like 30 other web series, (I told you I watched Web shows more than TV) but I won't list em right now.
Colony is a good show.
Fargo, True Detective season 1, Dark Matter.
If you want a show with a lots of plot twists, I'd suggest How to Get Away With Murder. It's relatively new, only has 2 seasons so far.
If you're fan of Marvel and MCU in general, then I'd also suggest Agents of SHIELD. The beginning isn't that great, but around the half of the first season it picks itself up and doesn't stop being great since then. One of my favourite TV shows atm.
Next I'd recommend Daredevil for action packed awesomesauce. Seriously, the best superhero show on air right now.
Community if you want to laugh, House of Cards for political shizzles, Suits for legal shizzles and Vikings for glorious battles.
I might fill in more, but I'm too tired right now. Maybe later. :P
If there's one show I should suggest, it is Lost. An absolutely fantastic show. You can watch it on Netflix if you have it.
I'd thought I'd mention some that likely no one else here has seen being they're old compared to most programming people today watch. Plus these two are based off true stories surprisingly.
The 100: Definitely my favorite TV show on air right now. Great, Great show.
DC's Legends of Tomorrow
Flashpoint: Ok, this one's already done. But it was seriously good, and I nearly cried every time someone got hurt. It really makes you wonder sometimes, gets inside your head.
Revolution: Gone too soon.
Jericho: Met a similar fate as Revolution.
Mr. Robot is one of my favorites.
I was just about to recommend both seasons of Fargo and True Detective's first, but you beat me to it. They're great shows and it's a pity Fargo's kinda underrated, especially considering it's had two brilliant seasons.
Edit: Another show I'd recommend, if you're willing to watch an older television show, is Twin Peaks, especially it's first season. While it did decline in quality throughout the second season and become too reliant on humour (Network's fault), it picked up again towards the end before being cancelled...Although it's getting continuation sometime in 2017.
I love River monsters
I know that the last 2 are really shitty suggestions, considering everyone that have a tv or internet probably have seen them. But just to be on the safe side, in case you have not.
Glad to hear it. I was intro'd to fish species I didn't know existed.
I've been watching a lot of Twilight Zone lately. Not all of them are amazing but a huge chunk of them are some of the best episodes of television I've ever seen. I'd highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already.
"A Stop at Willoughby" and "The Obsolete Man" are some of my favorite episodes!
Haven't seen those yet but I'll definitely check them out. So far my favorites have been Living Doll, The Hitchhiker, Time Enough at Last, Nightmare at 20,000 Feet, and The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street.
I'm someone who likes to watch things chronologically but I'd like to ask, should I watch Better Call Saul before or after Breaking Bad? Is it better one way or the other or does it not matter?
I've actually never seen The Wire or Sopranos, I've only really heard of them a few times xD but I've been hearing lately that they're pretty good shows
Drama
Supernatural
I honestly don't think it matters to much, but I would watch it after breaking bad
Black Sails
Archer
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Suits
One Punch Man
:O I love the 100!
Literally, It's my favorite TV show on air right now. S3 just finished though!!
I know
What I find really great is that my favourite characters make me so mad! XD
100% Yes I loved that show
I know! Sometimes I find it really hard to not lose my head over this.
Breaking Bad
Man... Nathan made that show. I was so mad when I found out he wasn't in it anymore.
