Okay, okay, I understand. You aren't fighting but it could get to that point. I'm glad it's civil, really, you don't find too much of that on the internet.
Yeah, you're cool man, I know how easy it is to turn a civil argument into a very toxic one, I too don't want that.
Just trying to help @TheAutisticGamer show why he would support Trump based on what he's seen
I just wish he would, it's not a good idea to make decisions based on emotion, it never ends up well.

Just trying to help @TheAutisticGamer show why he would support Trump based on what he's seen and @lottii-lu's comment. Your argument is quite valid, thank you.
I already saw comments/reactions of this kind when the events in France, my country, happened.
Of course you're thinking about Trump right now, catching the first who promises you security. You don't actually care if he will be able to/if he lies or making some disgusting politic hijacking.
Leaders already deal with ISIS. Coalition with many others countries (and USA is part of this) are bombing them one or two year before Russia entered in the fight. What's more to be done?
Just think about it in some weeks, when you might have cooled your anger, and you might change your mind about it.
That comment I said above about avoiding personal attacks? I'd also like to add to that - don't make snarky drive-by posts with stupid jokes. This isn't an appropriate discussion to make light of people death's by pointing out how a celebrity's death is even worse because "of how hot she was" prior to her death, or by jokingly advocating that Donald Trump learn how to tie a noose (irregardless of how insensitive and pointless some of Trump's comments are). Keep the discussion appropriate in tone.
You don't do that in a matter like this though, when so many people have died. Telling his twitter followers that he thanks them for congratulating him for being "right" about terrorists is hugely insensitive. The right thing to do would be to just ignore the people tweeting insensitive congratulations posts and focus on the tragedy.
He should have just posted: "In times like this we need toughness and vigilance. We must be smart." He didn't need to add in the part about him saying that he thanks his followers for congratulating him on being "right" about Islam. By mentioning that , it's just stoking the fire, stroking his own ego, and it makes him look like he's using the tragedy to further his agenda.
The post about praying for the families doesn't negate the content of the other post, as that post was hugely disrespectful to the families of the victims. Tragedies like this should never be used as a stump speech for politicians to further their own agenda.
Not to mention, it's highly unlikely people were actually congratulating him - it seems like a passive aggressive and smug way of subtly bragging that he was "right", while framing it in the pretense of false humility. It's just really condescending and inappropriate.

Just went to an emergency meeting with the local race-relations/community wellness council. Judging by the rhetoric and hate crime after San Bernadino, we could have serious problem here with anti-Muslim violence, seeing how close we are.
Please people, don't use senseless deaths as a cudgel to attack political enemies, don't spread "we should put them all in camps" rhetoric, even if it's a half joke or spread stupid anti-Muslim memes on social media. There are serious, real-life consequences to the way we react to these atrocities and extremists would like nothing more than to see some American Muslims get jumped, humiliated or killed in the aftermath.
There must certainly be a time to have a level-headed dialogue about the rammifications of these attacks and what needs to be done, but that time isn't now, amid the grief, outrage and panic. If you want to do something constructive, please pass along funds to the victims and their families, through reputable organizations.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, there's a little light in all this darkness. Most of us went to donate blood after the meeting and the blood banks were already so full they couldn't take us. It's heartening to see people come together in the midst of such a terrible event.
You don't do that in a matter like this though, when so many people have died. Telling his twitter followers that he thanks them for congratulating him for being right about terrorists is hugely insensitive.
That is subjective. Personally I don't think Trump made that comment with the intent of sounding insensitive. It was not meant as a "slap in the face" to the victims and families.
for congratulating him on being right about Islam. It makes him look like he's using the tragedy to further his agenda, and stroking his ego in doing so. That post was a huge slap in the face to the victims.
He is using the tragedy to further his agenda.... Just like everyone else does. Trump is no better or worse for doing so. The tragedy is an example of what the future could hold if Islamic culture is accepted into the US.

It's the way he's going about it that's the problem, as he is insulting the families by using the tragedy to post that he's "right". When someone's killed - you don't post something that says that you were "right" about the threat. That's rubbing salt in the wounds of the victims, and is severely messed up.
He can say something along the lines of what he said at the end - in the time of this tragedy we need to be tough and vigilant. There was no need to bring up anything about him being "right". If someone dies, you don't say that you said that it was going to happen. No matter which way you try to spin it, posting something akin to "I told you so" after a mass shooting is hugely disrespectful.

of course Anti-Muslim violence is the worst that can happen, we have to shut up and don't even speak about what happened, or if we do don't mention that it was an ISLAMIC terrorist like Obama in his speech.

I always wondered why do you defend muslims so hard? Every time something like that happens you're the first one to call stop to the Anti-Muslim comments ect.
I wonder how many more people have to die to make our leaders realize that west and islam cannot coexist peacefully?
Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, I can finally see that now. I used to think we could coexist but now, with all that's happened and reading more about the Koran, we really cannot let this go on.

But it seems that the clash of civilizations is going well, yay for the multikulti! Let's bring more of them in they will surely take our customs and assimilate! Wonder where they will strike again? France? Euro seems like a good occasion, with all that chaos that goes on there it's geat target Or maybe Poland with NATO summit and the Pope's visit.
I'm aware that it will start discussion/argument but like I said it needs to be said, how many of us have to die for some delusional utopian dreams where sheeps and wolves live in harmony?

I'm closing this, as it's degraded to insulting Muslims. Don't insult people's religions. ISIS is not Islam. Islam is the world's second largest religion. We have people here who are Muslim. Insulting any group of people (especially one as large as the Muslim faith) is against Telltale's Terms of Service.

10/10 answer.
Let's avoid personal attacks. I don't think discussion has gotten too out of hand yet, but let's keep it that way. Thanks.
Sure you are.
Yeah, you're cool man, I know how easy it is to turn a civil argument into a very toxic one, I too don't want that.

Let's just stop right now before one of us gets banned.

I think it's terrible no matter what.
I was about to type that.
That might be a good idea. Let's do that.
That's horrible. My condolences to the close ones to the victims, especially those who were killed.
Hm. Good minds think alike.
So much for that idea.
I already saw comments/reactions of this kind when the events in France, my country, happened.

Avoiding personal attacks is always a good idea when in debates, never helps the argument of the person making the attack.
Indeed.
Plus, getting banned hurts the argument too, haha.
The tweet was stupid, I fully agree, but comments like this do not add towards constructive or quality discussion.
Yee.

He sounded good after Sandy Hook as well...
A Supreme Court ruling can't instantly open people's minds, sadly.
Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, I can finally see that now. I used to think we could coexist but now, with all that's happened and reading more about the Koran, we really cannot let this go on.

This fucking sucks.
"Let's start muslim violence against innocents/non affiliated to ISIS people!" said the one who blames the attack on innocent people.
