You're completely twisting my words! I'm not saying you should play games instead of watching them. I'm saying that before calling a game shit you should play it! You cannot rate something you've not expereienced!
I mean none of the choices in LIS affected any of their endings.
And did any Telltale game affect its endings by all the choices throughout it? The only Telltale game that does that is Game of Thrones and that's it.
Omg, you're genius. Letting a town full of innocent people go to hell, when there was a chance to save it, is not selfish at all. "Claps"
Wow, you make it sound like it's an easy thing to do, killing your own friend. How would you feel if you were in Max's place and you had to kill your best friend to save a town? Saving Chloe is not really selfish, you know.
All the endings were about the relationship between Chloe and Max. They weren't anything about Rachel or Jefferson who killed and drugged teen girls.
Because they are best friends, that's why! And that doesn't make Chloe x Max feel forced. It's not even about that ship.
You literally do the same thing in Telltale games.
I mean none of the choices in LIS affected any of their endings.
Wait, what… more? How does that destroy Max's character? Also, that doesn't make her selfish. Max cares about Chloe. Sacrificing a town for a friend that you knew since you were a child is not selfish at all.

Care to elaborate?

I guess you don't know how these kind of games work.
Yes I do. You can even ask @MetallicaRules who hates LIS a lot.

CoughCough TWD S1 CoughCough. You forgot that there are multiple dialogues Lee can say depending on your previous choices? For example. If you choose to shoot Lee, he can tell Clem about either Duck's, Irene's (The suicidal girl from the motel) or his brother's situation.

The only reason I have any issue with this is that...well...I've been a Telltale fan for a LONG time. Like, before Walking Dead. So I kinda grew up with Telltale just making comedy point n clicks without any choices.
Hell, for a long time, I refused to play or even acknowledge that Walking Dead existed, because of how serious and depressing it was, and all I could think was that "It's just...NOT Telltale."
That's why I'm glad that they have things like Tales from the Borderlands and Minecraft: Story Mode because it shows me that they can still make comedy games, even with the new "Choice matters" style they're going for. Just my two cents, wanted to be civil for a change.
I'm probably gonna get burned for this, but I don't give a shit.
Great game, but to me, it didn't seem like a Telltale game. It seeme… mored to me like a point-click Gearbox game. Not that I mind that, it's just...I like playing these games for awesome stories, amazing settings and very hard choices. Tales didn't have ANY of that. It seemed like it was focusing on the gameplay and the humor more than the story.
Oh, and the Rhysha vs Rhyiona bullshit.
Yeah, there are different dialogues depending on your choices. Does that kind of thing changes the ending? No. Whatever you do, everything'll end up the same.

How is Metallica related to this at all? We need his confirmation that you do know how these games work or what?
He knows better than me.
All the endings were about the relationship between Max and Chloe because that was the main point of the game. Literally. What game were you playing?
A boring game, that's what
Selfishness is subjective. Not denying that saving Chloe was a selfish choice, but it could be argued that some people don't see it that way.
You didn't see what Max and Chloe were doing? They just drove away, ignoring the whole destructed town, not even bothering to check for survivors or even Chloe's parents.
And TT especially shines in their choices department... It's not like they're getting railed by fans on this issue wherever they release a n… moreew game. Also, the choices influenced your decision - they helped you make up your mind, whether to save Chloe or the town. If you want choices influencing endings directly, go play Bioware games.

I had a huge problem with Justin Bieber haircuts... I just never did feel like I had enough freedom in the game, and I couldn't make the JB the way I truly wanted... 2/10
Fallout 3 and 4....way overrated....never mind the fact that even at your earliest levels you can basically wipe out any town you come across. Hell it reminds me of an old Simpson's episode where the aliens have taken over the earth, only to face a human uprising...you see an alien running for it's life yelling "He has a stick with a nail in it!!"
Of course this is a problem with all Bethesda games. They have no damn clue how to make a game with proper difficulty.
I think people are forgetting what overrated means. This thread isn't asking what games you hate or think suck, it is asking what games that are liked/praised by the majority or are considered by the majority to be of a certain quality and you disagree with that. You don't have to hate the game to think it is overrated.

I'm pretty sure I'm talking to you, not Metallica, so I still don't get why should he be here.
Way to improve your arguments - just outright bash the game, that'll show them!
And what makes you think they didn't do that before they drove away?
Is he your brother or something? Why are you so protective of him? Nobody is judging his opinions, just disagreeing with him in an educated manner. No need for rustled jimmies.
I think this thread should be closed.
It's a total shitfit of arguing and blah blah blah Play the game instead of watching it and blah blah blah This game is great, screw you

I was just hearing from a lot of people that the Mass Effect series was super great and I should try it out. I guess I had high hopes for it, but I couldn't even bring myself to finish the first game. Just my personal taste I guess.

Also you forgot TWD S2 endings.
Yeah, which they depend on a choice (or two choices) in the end. They don't depend on many choices throughout the game.
Well, I've done it before.
Let me correct myself then.
You cannot properly rate something you've not experienced!
Reggie, you just do not understand games. Also the Bieb is a Canadian man God and elevates any game to 9000.

They are selfish, that's the answer. You know what? Enough, this is my opinion and I'm sick of this unnecesary argument.
What?
just Google it, especially the image section XD
