This thread is the reason I own a bottle of bleach.

  • I'm in the other boat. While I like comedy games and such, I am happy serious series get attention like TWD and Game of Thrones (although I hate zombie games) and hope for an even darker story with choices that make true difference.

  • This may be pointless, but the 2nd and the 3rd game are a lot better and more smooth than then 1st one. I know what you're talking about, getting through all the planets with clunky controls can be a real drag, but the sequels are truly worth it.

    Just my 2 cents :)

I was just hearing from a lot of people that the Mass Effect series was super great and I should try it out. I guess I had high hopes for it, but I couldn't even bring myself to finish the first game. Just my personal taste I guess.

  • Don't, papai, just don't. It's hopeless.

  • I agree with Fallout 4, it's way too easy. Then again, it's aimed at the more casual gamers who don't want to spend lots of time getting ready to take down one boss.

As for difficulty, I think you should try Morrowind. One of the best, if not the best, Bethesda's titles, and it's pretty damn difficult.

Fallout 3 and 4....way overrated....never mind the fact that even at your earliest levels you can basically wipe out any town you come acros

Yup, that's the one and only answer. Good job.

Also, just because this is your opinion doesn't mean people aren't allowed to disagree with it and try to change your mind, especially if it's formed from assumptions and mistaken thinking (talking in general, not only about LiS).

    Have a nice day.

So? If you dislike this thread so much, you can always ignore it, even if it's on the front page.

Wait, doesn't that matter by the difficulty you play in?

  • Huh, surprised to hear that.

I didn't know that Bethesda was also lazy at difficulties, too.

No...I managed to do this on the hardest level.

  • To be fair most devs are lazy when it comes to higher difficulties. Instead of improving AI they just turn enemies into bullet sponges. In DBZ terms, it's as if the player became Yamcha, while the enemies are Goku.

    The Uncharted series

  • How would you define RPG?

Oxenfree (Probably a good story but a bit boring RPG) What? Oxenfree isn't an rpg???? Besides, the game is underrated if anything.

  • Morrowind is mostly difficult because of its crappy combat system though. There is nothing more frustrating in a game than being told that you "missed" the enemy despite said foe standing right in front of you.

  • It is a discussion on a forum, of course people are going to add some wise words of theirs on your opinions and whatnot. Just because others don't agree with you, it doesn't mean they can't reply to your original comment. :)

Okay guys. You all seem judge me. One question: When did I ever say you should agree with me? It's my opinion, not yours. I never asked you to agree with me, so cut it out.

  • But he called you his baby when no one else did..

I had a huge problem with Justin Bieber haircuts... I just never did feel like I had enough freedom in the game, and I couldn't make the JB the way I truly wanted... 2/10

  • True enough, but we also can't forget the fact that every quest needs to be found using only your journal and general sense of direction. Nobody is holding your hand and telling you where to go. Add this whole combat system to it and you've got quite a difficult game in front of you.

  • For me games are about immersion you have the controller in your hand the vibrate feature lets you "feel" the world you control the character. We are on a forum where we were mainly drawn in by the idea of a game that tailors to your choices like witcher, witcher has different classes and choices its impossible to understand the feel of the game the magic and the weight of the choices if your just watching some random guy play it.

For me a great game can be ruined by dodgy menus and basic control errors someone who watches wont understand, and a game us made to be played not watched.

Fallout 4 = not much of an adventure like fallout 3 and new vegas did plus the dlc is downgraded more minecraft building thingy , i didn't say i hated it bethesda should've done better what happened to their creativity like they did to mothership zeta, point lookout, operation anchorage, the pitt, the other interesting fucked up vaults, interesting npcs, and the story telling are luckluster and i've just finished their 3 first released dlcs and i'm not planning to play nuka world, vault-tec , and contraptions, i say yeah it was a little entertaining at first but i grew tired and making those repetitive settlement, and saving the synth quests... well thanks bethesda i really enjoy playing it but it didn't that last long tho..

  • I loved it for a week maybe, I got so bored the game is ridiculously easy I had to handicap myself by walking around without armour and equipping shitty weapons, I looked forward to it for ages and I haven't played it in ages im so glad I didn't buy the dlc bundle. I liked the building though I might be in the minority with that.

  • The term has been twisted and misused a lot in this day and age, apparently so much people think that a 2.5D game is an rpg just because.

The purest form of RPG is the dungeons and dragons tabletop format. Though these days if you have some form of leveling and progression without being a rogue lite then you're an RPG.

Oh boy, I'm going to get rekt for this one. I get that many people enjoyed the game, I mean it's a Telltale game with a lot of mystery and I can say it was the only detective game I actually liked for a little while. But I don't know, when you see a shit ton of threads begging for a season 2 it does make you want to hate it.

  • Same. Many people begging for TWAU Season 2 is such a cancer and is the only reason which makes me hate it.

  • How did I never come across with that video.

Thanks, father for showing me this masterpiece. Now I'm gonna overuse it. <3

For real, though; why do people even ask for TWAU S2? I mean, it's been almost 2 years since it ended. Still no news about S2, no confirmation... pretty sure it won't happen at all. Honestly, I think people should accept the fact that it won't happen.

  • Hating the game because the fans want the second season is a bit of a reach, IMO, but to each their own.

However, is that the only reason why you hate it?
