Hating the game because the fans want the second season is a bit of a reach, IMO, but to each their own.
However, is that the only reason why you hate it?
I will say I still enjoy 3 & NV more but I do love the gameplay in fallout 4, they got the mechanics right, just not the story telling. Some was lost in the protag having actual voice lines. Simplistic options, same ending but with different people at the end.
Best Parts of Fallout 4
Companions like Piper/McCready
Combat
Armour Mixing
Weapon modding (but the weapons werent the best)
Few individual quests
The had alot of potentail for there to be more, the Institute was a big one, needed more story idk, just something else.
Alot of me on Fallout 3 & NV was to play different, different ending and quest paths, most of Fallout 4 was linier quests and paths
Fallout 4 = not much of an adventure like fallout 3 and new vegas did plus the dlc is downgraded more minecraft building thingy , i didn't s… moreay i hated it bethesda should've done better what happened to their creativity like they did to mothership zeta, point lookout, operation anchorage, the pitt, the other interesting fucked up vaults, interesting npcs, and the story telling are luckluster and i've just finished their 3 first released dlcs and i'm not planning to play nuka world, vault-tec , and contraptions, i say yeah it was a little entertaining at first but i grew tired and making those repetitive settlement, and saving the synth quests... well thanks bethesda i really enjoy playing it but it didn't that last long tho..

Tales From The Borderlands is pretty over hyped. I thoroughly enjoy it but when people say that they got more feels from Tales than TWD S1? Or that TWD is trash compared to Tales as it is the best ever? The game isn't really compelling at all and imo is just a well put together game. Honestly, the only time I really even think about it is when I come up here and see the community section for it. I remember the story but no real specific moments...it was great but isn't one of those games you will remember down the road.
GTA 4. I've gained a bit more appreciation for it lately, but it feels really barebones compared to the other games, not to mention it's far more dull-looking than any of the sixth-generation games.
I really like the protagonist of GTA 4, Niko Bellic. His past is really tragic, probably the worst of all GTA protagonists, and he never gets a happy ending to his life. Quite a depressing game, although a pretty good one too. The darkness and absurdity of Liberty City truly make the atmosphere and the main character seem real.

the best part in fallout 4 i think is just the mods
While the mods in Fallout 4 are good, I think the best aspect of it are the companions, cause compared to Fallout 3, they actually have a personality. They aren't just some people you randomly stumble on and just protect you without knowing a bit about their past. They literally become your new friends or your new romantic interests, depending if you romanced the ones that are able to be romanced or not.
but sadly i still prefer the companions in New Vegas not only they have good personalities but also they had a connection to the story and has cool backstory , but that doesn't mean that i hate the fallout 4 companions , i just like how piper really was a unique, a journalists who wants to know and to know them the truth and she reminds me of three dog "the good fight" and cait how she has a character development after/during her personal quest and honestly i got a tear in my eye how fucked up her childhood was, maccready well we all know he used to be a little lamplight now is amazing mungo, deacon how funny to have a railroad companion, codsworth is like a real family, well the other companions that didn't interest me that much is Strong, CVRIE is meh just a generic anime kawaii weeb i don't know but i still save her in vault 87 tho because even tho she's a robot yeah it felt so lonely trapped in there for so damn long, and the courser companion from the institute is damn boring good thing i didn't used him that much...

Honestly, I do think the companions in Fallout 4 and Fallout: New Vegas are equally amazing but it's all a matter of opinion. ^-^
However, I kinda agree on the "some companions aren't interesting" part. X6-88 didn't interest me much, Strong... well... he's just really whiny and doesn't understand that fighting is not always option. Preston... well... how can I say this? He just plain sucks in general (I'd seriously write a whole thing about him and how much I hate and what are my reasons for it, but I don't feel like writing a huge paragraph just for that). But the rest are cool, especially Piper, Hancock and MacCready for me.

well preston is just doing his job and i think in fallout universe if i'm about to choose a faction honestly i'd still rather pick NCR over Minutemen tbh

yeah maccready was just doing his job as a mayor , and tbh i wanted to know more of these companions , also i fucking hate squire maxson as a kid and now he's just another BOS dick
You know fallout 4 Mccready's a good character when he erases the little shit memories from fallout 3 mayor mccready days.
God I wanted to kill lamplight mccready!!!
Also Piper is fucking bae, so is her voice actor

Honestly, I'd pick NCR over anything. They seem to have the right idea, more than the other factions, but that's just my opinion. ^^
However, if the Minutemen didn't have Preston... I'd say that they'd be better than NCR. But of course Preston gives the bad example of being the General of the Minutemen.

* Fallout 4 (It's complete mediocre compared to 3 and New Vegas)
* BioShock 2 and Infinite (They're complete mediocre compared to the origi… morenal game)
* Borderlands games (The only good one is TftB)
* Dead Space 3 (It's complete mediocre compared to the first 2 games)
* Dishonored (No matter how hard I try, I just couldn't quite get into the story, characters, or the game in general)
* GTA 5 (It's complete mediocre compared to 4. But the gameplay is fun)
* Life is Strange (I think we all know why)
* Beyond: Two Souls (Unlike Heavy Rain, it focuses more on the story than the choices. And Jodie had this crazy plot armor. Fucking hell)
*
I hate the term "overrated" but fuck it:
THE WOLF AMONG US
memes ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Oh boy, I'm going to get rekt for this one. I get that… more many people enjoyed the game, I mean it's a Telltale game with a lot of mystery and I can say it was the only detective game I actually liked for a little while. But I don't know, when you see a shit ton of threads begging for a season 2 it does make you want to hate it.

Howe… morever, if the Minutemen didn't have Preston... I'd say that they'd be better than NCR. But of course Preston gives the bad example of being the General of the Minutemen.
Well... They did an awesome job on Automatron and Far Harbor in my opinion, though. However, I do think that Bethesda runs out of ideas. Why didn't they learn from the hate Wasteland Workshop got, for god's sake...

and now i'm just currently playing saints row 4 and bioshock, and just finished bully scholarship edition just trying to cure my dissapointed to fallout 4 but yeah i'm just getting this out of my chest before i explode but bethesda should've done better you know? i'm not just talking shit how badly they executed the game and dlcs..

Yeah, honestly... Don't get me wrong, I still like Fallout 4 for what it is, but there are many things that should be improved with it. However, one thing is for sure; Fallout 4's ending is more satisfying than Fallout 3's ending, at least in my opinion.
Still, though... if there ever will be a new Fallout game, I wish Obsidian will develop it instead. Judging by how they made Fallout: New Vegas, I'm pretty sure that they have the right idea.

nah, fallout 4's ending is more like a prologue to me... i just like the combat system in fallout 4 that's all but the perks, dialogue wheel are downgrade too, well fallout 3's ending is better with ron perlman narrating it and it feels more fallout-ish than disney-ish

Fallout 3 and 4....way overrated....never mind the fact that even at your earliest levels you can basically wipe out any town you come acros… mores. Hell it reminds me of an old Simpson's episode where the aliens have taken over the earth, only to face a human uprising...you see an alien running for it's life yelling "He has a stick with a nail in it!!"
Of course this is a problem with all Bethesda games. They have no damn clue how to make a game with proper difficulty.

I think that New Vegas is overrated. It's not nearly as great as people say and has just as many problems as Fallout 3 and 4. Hell, ALL of the Fallout games have problems, but I love them all equally. (except BoS)

Well to be fair, it is annoying to see a bunch of season 2 threads.
No not really, after episode 3 I just really couldn't get into it at all. I just eventually got bored of it.

Eh, I never had a problem with Fallout 3 MacCready. Sure, he was a little brat at times, but I didn't completely hate him.
And yeah, Piper is indeed bae.

What made you hate Bioshock Infinite? I thought you said it was as awesome as the first game.
It had a very confusing ending. And it wasn't as scary as the 1st one.
I forgot why I hated it. I haven't played it in a long time.
Did you ever look up the ending explanation online after playing it? It put a lot of things in perspective for me.
Yeah, and it still confused me
nah you don't really hate the game you hate those annoying people who make threads about begging for season 2
also bethesda did a pretty shitty job on DLCs which makes me sad and dissapointed asf

Yeah, honestly... Don't get me wrong, I still like Fallout 4 for what it is, but there are many things that should be improved with it. However, one thing is for sure; Fallout 4's ending is more satisfying than Fallout 3's ending, at least in my opinion.

New Vegas companions actually had their own personal quests that were actually interesting.
In Fallout 4, the only interesting ones were Valentine and Curie.
It does have the best story though.
nah, fallout 4's ending is more like a prologue to me... i just like the combat system in fallout 4 that's all but the perks, dialogue wheel are downgrade too, well fallout 3's ending is better with ron perlman narrating it and it feels more fallout-ish than disney-ish
I've read it here, youtube, reddit, and some other places. Was pretty surprised by it.
I think New Vegas is even more overrated.
If anything, it's underrated. I barely see it get any praise at all.
I think that New Vegas is overrated. It's not nearly as great as people say and has just as many problems as Fallout 3 and 4. Hell, ALL of the Fallout games have problems, but I love them all equally. (except BoS)
I agree about 4, disagree about 3.
So...1/2, is not bad.
What's wrong with New Vegas?
How come (if you don't mind me asking)?
