I just tried it after logging out and back in again, but it's still not working. While I can edit posts, I don't get the option with a thread I created. I'm only getting the options to flag it or to unfollow.
However, I think I actually just found a workaround that could serve as a temporary solution. I realized I still had a link to the discussion edit saved in my browser history. After loading that link I was able to properly edit my thread as usual. I'm not having much knowledge about how the site works, but I guess that means we're technically still able to edit our threads, but the option to do so is currently not visible.

So, for anyone wanting to update their threads right now, just go to https://telltale.com/community/post/editdiscussion/ followed by the number of your thread, which can be seen in the adress bar. For example, though that particular case should only work for InGen, if you want to edit this thread, go to https://telltale.com/community/post/editdiscussion/107590
Yeah, I think adding some more maroon (the shade of red from the Telltale logo) would make it look spiffy - of course, that's assuming they would also make the minor changes in other areas (such as making black text white in some areas).
Just another reminder since people seem to be missing it:
Please keep all criticisms constructive as requested by Telltale Staff members. I will be flagging comments for not contributing to the discussion.
I think adding some different background colors (like black, gray and white) would satisfy everyone. I personally like the way it is but some people seem to dislike the white background because it's too bright.
Some boxes, please? The followed discussions looks odd without something to separate it from the rest of the site. Same thing with the upper bar and the sub-forums sections. Ideally, it would look like this:
Instead of this:
In the old format the image in the upper bar used to stretch when clicked. Since it doesn't do that anymore I think it should be removed completely or reduced to fit the small bar since I don't really like looking at my cut avatar.
Some way to distinguish the read notifications from the old ones.
There's some useless space between the user name and the comment itself. Same happens in spoiler tags.
This used to happen in the old format but when I click in 'mark comments as read' the comments get read temporarily, but when I come back to the thread, the comments are still unread.
There's a huge unused blank space on the users profiles.
Notifications are not displaying the number of new likes and new comments after the last visit (neither the avatars of the people who recently commented).
Will our TWD S1, TWD S2 and TWAU choices be able to be displayed in our profiles? Oh, and Game of Thrones choices are not displaying for me.
EDIT:
It's a shame that YouTube videos do not display on the webpage itself anymore. If you guys keep that format, please consider increasing the thumbnail picture's quality.
This is insanely hard to look at and follow. Really guys, this is worse than the last change. Is this meant to look better on mobile? It looks terrible on PC. There needs to be a larger color differential between background, posts, and replies. I don't want anyone to take this personally, but it's really hard to imagine that someone looked at this in a thread full of posts and replies and said "yeah this looks better".

I'm not Telltale Staff, but just to answer anyways, I highly doubt so as those older titles did not have the Telltale Account system used in game to associate your individual choices with your Telltale web accounts.

I know I probably haven't endeared myself to Staff that were here for the 2013 change, but borders around all posts really need to happen(containing replies is fine). I'd personally prefer if it was a bit tighter with fewer large spaces, but that's just me(I can make this look better with adjusting my zoom as the font is now larger as well, but now I have a site set to a different zoom than the rest of the internet). The borders need to happen though.
Oh, this is terrifyingly new... I'll have to get used to the "press enter ONCE" now, the new look and layout of the site, and all this white! It's weird on the eyes.
EDIT: It's weird.. I think I'm getting the bottom bar for the site on the top: (It's the dark rectangle at the top, with telltale's copyright and privacy policy/terms of service links.) Because I don't think I'm supposed to see each section of the site twice. (And on a smaller note, the "all series" tab on the very top seems to merge into Telltale's logo.)
One more thing... Because of this black bar appearing out of nowhere, it obstructs everything under it. I can only access the comments I have made on my profile, and not my feed or other tabs regularly seen on your profile... Everything looks fine on chrome right now, so I'll just have to resort to that for the time being.
It's going to take a while to get used to this, that's for sure. Took me weeks to finally get used to the site when it last updated, but I think I'll manage.
EDIT: Apparantly, I can't post videos for some reason.
2nd EDIT: Got the video to show, but now it takes you to Youtube instead of playing it here.
I posted a workaround above, which should at least suffice as a temporary solution. Basically, just go to https://telltale.com/community/pos… moret/editdiscussion/ followed by the number of your thread, which you can find in the adress bar. If it's , for example, this thread of yours you want to edit, just type https://telltale.com/community/post/editdiscussion/107610 into the adress bar of your browser. If it's any other thread you have created, change the thread number accordingly and it should work!
I agree that it is a bit too white, but I don't know what their background situation is. I don't know if I'd want the whole white area a different colour or design. Perhaps a different colour for the above menu bar or something.

Oh I thought you were leaving for a while because you're jumping on the hate bandwagon.
I'm having the same problem with mine, though I think this is something they are still working on. Let's hope it'll be fixed in a couple of hours
No, it's just it looks really glitchy for me
Clear your web browser's cache and see if that helps.
I liked the previous one more...this one is bit too bare, it lack colors and everything mash up into one thing.
I wonder, even if you can't reply to my PM-s can you still read them?
I prefer the darkness
I didn't get a notification for any replies, im not a happy tentacle monster... this is my third attempt posting this
Not to be too IT-channeled but.. have you tried logging out then back in again?
Is the problem specific to editing threads? Can you still edit posts?
I just tried it after logging out and back in again, but it's still not working. While I can edit posts, I don't get the option with a thread I created. I'm only getting the options to flag it or to unfollow.

Wish there would be more color or even color options? Quite nice and formal might I say however.
Too white and bright for me. Also, I can't unfollow discussions without a "javascript permission"
Just found out that tags don't work.
@Pipas

Yeah, I agree. A bit of red's always nice.

Why are some threads like WOYM all nicely boxed and threads like this not? WOYM doesn't look too bad to me, but this one looks horrible.
Okay here's a major issue for me, there's NO option to edit your discussions or at least I can't edit mine.

I remember what it was like before the "old" design!
TBH, I don't like the new change. I'm soo not used to it.
I don't, 2011 was so long ago
It changed in 2013.

Hello whiteness my old friend
Okay, thanks.
wasn't around in 2013-14
Good. It looks like the borders are standard now.

Me too. I'd probably not be here for a while untill I get used it.
You just post the URL by itself now
