Marking new comments as read in the threads doesn't seem to work as well for some reason, for example I'm stuck on the 14th page here with the coments that still appear to be 'new', even though they've been unmarked before during the last visit.
These issues probably aren't new, but it just something that bothers me too much, so there's that.
Was there no planned step-by-step process for updating? Did no one here learn Basic Project Management, are there no milestones set up for managing the whole update to have a smooth transfer and no loss in existing options? Why wasn't the code tested on a dummy page before going live? Testing basic forum abilities like private messaging before the change was greenlighted? Why can't it be rolled back until the problems get fixed?
To be frank, making such mistakes I would've been already fired. This might sound harsh, but I am not angry, I just listed all my concerns about the update here, and hope people responsible for it will learn from the current situation and improve.

Yes, I saw your comment, my own message was written in a not so bitter, but mildly disappointed mood as I wanted to send a private message for some time now, but couldn't. And I only saw this reply because I happened to visit this thread again, reply didn't appear in feed. Welp... too bad.

And another error 403. When I click on a discussion that has been merged, it says "Error 403 - You don't have permission to do that." It should just take me to the discussion it merged into.

They have already said that they are next going to focus on updating the forums, and that this "all white" design is not staying like this.
Not to mention, the other things you described are bugs that are going to be fixed. There are always minor bugs and errors that occur during a notable forum update; we just have to wait things out for a short while. They straight up said that the forums will not be "all white" as they currently are.

Clicking on a tag like @NotSoBlindGuy is supposed to take you to that user's profile. However, it currently goes to a 404 Not Found page. The generated URL seems to have an extra "community" in its path.
EDIT: Also, clicking on Blind Sniper's profile (or anyone with a space in their name) from a message they posted brings up my own profile instead of theirs.

Did you get that whenever a captcha comes up? (Captchas are for new users, but older users can also encounter them if there are server issues...)

However, as I said above, there can sometimes be server issues where the site will make even make users who are not new fill out a captcha before a post. It's not a major bug or anything, but rather, just a mild inconvenience really.
If you read the quotes from Telltale staff above, they say that the forums are getting an eventual facelift as well, and that this all-white design is not final.

Yeah, other mods and I discovered that through some testing of our own and we've let the web team know.
