Does anyone like Fairy Tail?
I haven't watched Fairy Tail yet but I plan to, I'm kind of in a state where I don't know what to watch next after finishing Shingeki No Kyojin(Attack On Titan) Season One.
Not yet, going through some other anime on my backlog for now. Plan to though
I started watching Samurai Flamenco a couple weeks ago but I stopped halfway through because of college. It's pretty much Kick Ass (guy who becomes a vigilante) but with Sentai and Kamen Rider. I'll pick it up again eventually.
I heard good things about it and I plan on watching it, I'm just hesitant putting aside the time for a 102 episode series. XD
Right now I'm just waiting for the final dub episodes of Boku no Hero Academia and Ansatsu Kyoushitsu so Fairy Tail will probably be the next on the list.
I highly recommend Nana if you want a realistic look at relationships and just want a damn good drama.
Hey, has anyone any suggestions for what I might want to watch? I typically like dark and serious fantasy Anime.
Haven't watched it yet, but it seems interesting.
Maybe Deadman Wonderland or Elfen Lied? Both are pretty dark and interesting.
@ABigBadWolf loves it. A lot. Especially Juvia.
But it's too long for me lol.
Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, it's currently airing, ep.17/26. It is both dark and has some serious characters, although in the beginning it seems like a typical magic ahh show. You won't be disappointed.
EDIT: I don't watch that many fantasy shows or anime, but I can recommend you some nice dark anime(s?) with supernatural elements, which isn't exactly fantasy.
Well, as a young Everyone'sClemInTime, I had the biggest crush on Anko Mitarashi from the shit franchise known as Naruto.
I literally forgot about that cringe worthy time of my life until a couple days ago when I saw a picture of her and immediately knew who she was, so fuck me I guess.
Hahahahahahasorryforlaughing
If ever there were a time...
Oh my, seems like I accidentally dropped something........ >_>
Seriously though FMAB is a serious and dark anime with really good comedy in between, it's set in a fantasy world where some very intelligent people have learned how to perform "alchemy", an ancient metaphysical scientific art that manipulates and alters matter by using natural energy. It's all based around a law called "equivalent exchange".
That's as much as I can say without talking about it's actual plot.
The only anime I've really been into is Naruto. Seriously, I'm in love with Naruto and haven't even finished it yet.
It really starts to drag-on towards the finale.
FTFY
Ghost in the Shell
Psycho-Pass
Parasyte
Cowboy Bepop
Trigun
I dunno... can you tell I like sci-fi?
DragonBall Z is one of my favorite Anime's.
Hmm she's a solid 7/10
I was planning on watching it since my friend recommended it...until I saw the episode count. Lol Nope!
At the beginning its not very serious but one of the characters, who is mentioned all the way through the series and actually appears about 100 episodes in is very dark, feels rejected. Kills a lot. The anime I'm referring to is Fairy Tail, my all time favourite. A lot of people dislike it because of the amount of episodes. I did at first but now I love it. Tokyo Ghoul and Deadman wonderland are quite dark (Tokyo Ghoul definitely) and very serious.
For anyone wanting to watch it, ignore the amount of episodes. A lot of my friends were weary about the number of episodes, but now they've started watching it they literally just can't stop. They're in love with it. Maybe not as much as me but yeah. The manga is getting really good too. Cant wait for Tuesday! >_<
It is really funny and if youre the kind of Person who gets attached to the characters then it might make you a bit sad. My favourite character is the main villain of the show, If you read the manga you'll feel for him. No denial.
If youre wondering what its about. Its about Love and Vitality, fantasy, magic, friendships, unbroken bonds. A guild formed by some unlikely people. Bonds so strong they form a family. I love it!!!
I have heard many good things about this anime. I shall have to get around to watching it; I have been meaning to do so for some time.
I do not think I have it in me to watch so many episodes. Thanks for the recommendation, nontheless.
I have watched Tokyo Ghoul, though. That, I did like particularly.
Deadman Wonderland sounds good. Cheers.
Thanks. May not be what I typically watch, but I shall make a note to at the very least check it.
Supernatural Elements are close enough to fantasy. What do you have in mind?
Salary man kintaro-
The leader of a notorious biker gang gets a office job so he can provide for his son
Hellsing-
Vampire slaying awesomeness
Black butler-
A fae butler fights monsters and makes yummy cakes
If you love detective shows with an overarching plot I'd recommend Detective Conan.
I like it! It kick ass and rocks. The farthest I got to was around Gajeel's first appearance but then I got preoccupied. I know bits of other parts to the story though. It just seems to focus more on ecchi now though, or is that because of all the Fairy Tail colour-filled panels I've seen on Deviant Art? Hmm...
The anime especially. I love the series but goddam the anime version is just fillers galore. THERE'S FILLER AND THE MANGA'S ALREADY DONE!
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Berserk, the original series from the late nineties. It only covers the first part of the manga, but it's worth to watch, in my opinion. There is 3 movies that covers the same part as the anime that is ok, but i prefer the 97/98 anime.
There is also a new berserk anime, that cover more parts of the manga but it looks terrible.
Let's see, my favorites are: Cory In The House, Thomas The Tank Engine, Der Fueher's Face, Dora The Explorer and Filthy Frank.
Those are overrated. George in the Jungle is the best anime.
My favourite waifu is Papai46.
It's not like i like you or anything, B-BA-BAKA!!!!
True dat, Adventure Time is a close second.
I've watched a lot of anime and particularly like dark and mysterious fantasy type. I've gotten half way through Pokémon, love Fairy Tail and am up to date with both anime and manga. I've watched
And more
I plan on watching
Bleach
Is there anything else I should watch
Watch it. Just do it. It's worth it.
