i think the chemicals might be venom since it was able to have a cop kill someone with his bare hands which means bane might be behind this since those mercenaries look they could be his army and there was a plotline in the old comics that implied that thomas wayne could be his dad so this could be a new take on bane, or oz could be behind it since he was part of the military and he would have the connections for the firepower the mercs use
Do actually hitting your QTE's matter in the game? I don't have the game for myself yet because I'm still on the Xbox 360. However, is it true that most QTE's in fights don't even need to be pressed?
Scratch that you can die. Although hitting the QTE's allows you to fill up a meter to use a finishing move. As well I think failing some QTE's in the first bit causes a slight alteration in the story if the extra choices are to be believed, I'll have to see.

I can't help but feel like it would be amazing if we got to play a scene as Batman walking through the asylum past all of the rooms. Imagine all the easter eggs and glimpses we could see through doors and windows. It could be potentially really creepy too.
