This August feels like the longest month in my life. During this month, I barely got back from a 5-weeks vacation, then I have to briefly work in another town, then spent a week back home and then I have finally moved to a new city and currently preparing for my University years. No doubt, waiting on the next Telltale episode will be much harder now until I finally build a daily routine again.
Not necessarily. The last live recording didn't air until 3 weeks later (2 days before the first episode launched) If any release date made sense it would be the 13th since that's the same day the physical release launches.
I'm guessing that Episode 2 will come out around the same time as the Season Disc. Regardless, I want Telltale to take their time with this one. This could be TWD/TFTB quality stuff once it wraps up.
... So with TV you know it's going to be the next week, or you know when there will be a break. Something like Hitman is adhering to a loose monthly schedule, while Resident Evil: Revelations 2 was released on a strict weekly basis. Is this something Telltale wants to address?
That's a good problem to have. People are excited to play an episode and they're not sure exactly when it will go live. We know it's going to be four to six weeks, give or take, in between episodes, but the advantage for us is taking into consideration all the player feedback and player decisions. So right now, we've launched the first episode of Batman, the second episode will be early to mid-September, closer to the 13th, and we're already taking into considering things players have done in the first episode, and fine-tuning adjustments in the second and third.
To have a definitive date between episodes would kind of rule out the audience participation aspect of our series. Any time a Telltale episode is released, the next is in live development, and the last piece of the process is the player. It's not until the game is live that we want to put our final mark on an episode and respond to the audience accordingly.
Episode 2 is aiming for an early/mid September release:

It means that they are very strongly hinting to expect the episode on the 13th as their estimated release date, but they are not 100% absolutely certain that the 13th is the final release date yet. So, they are dancing around it and trying to avoid framing it as a concrete release date in case the episode ends up coming out on a different date.
It could also be on the 6th (the previous Tuesday) or the 20th (the next Tuesday) - it more or less means that they are aiming for a Tuesday that is around the 13th, possibly give or take a week.
I wonder when we'll get our next "Batman Unmasked".. There's no indication to when they come out after each episode, so it shouldn't be too long... (after all, they've got a month before the next one comes out.)

Telltale is listed to be streaming the Batman crowd play so i will add the details below for anyone who wants to watch as they will also be showing details about episode 2.
All people here are waiting for ep2 and I haven't even played ep1 because of stupid glitches
Btw, has anyone tried crowd play already? What's it about?
I had a couple buddies over and we played through Episode 1 together with Crowd Play. One of us used the controller, and the other two were on our phones. Whenever there was a dialogue choice or a prompted choice in general, the whole room gets to vote on what they think should happen, and majority rules. If there's a tie, then it chooses randomly.
The action QTE's, the exploring, etc.. is all done by the person with the controller. When there isn't a choice to be made, the people using their phones can hit a like or a dislike button, and it'll show up on screen. It's fairly useless, and we ended up using it just to keep ourselves entertained. These games are definitely more enjoyable playing alone, in my opinion.

I think its safe to say that the 13th is 90% happening.
Also just curious what's the difference between R-13 and M if anyone knows. If R simply just means 13+ would this make this episode more violent and explict than the previous episode?

Damn, I've missed this community. It's good to be back.
Just finished Ep1. Can't wait for the close release of Ep2.
Though saying "I'm Batman" every 5 minutes whilst playing the episode might be a problem...

Telltale are getting ready to record the next Batman chat show.
Does this mean a Sep 6th release?

Well if it is, then @Deltino should really be using the term "shocked".

The 13th is practically confirmed! Nice~
What do they mean by "closer to the 13th" does that mean the 13th? someone please explain.
"......we're already taking into considering things players have done in the first episode, and fine-tuning adjustments in the second and third."
I'd think that was a big yes.

And it was. Why did you ignore my comment man?

Well they recording the second Batman Unmasked on the 30th, so my guess would be it being released in the first week of September
ok i understand now, I'm assuming it's the 13th for batman and the 6th for MCSM finale.

yeah.... I'm not rewatching episode 1 until 2 in the morning just to hear news about episode 2. I'll just sleep and look at the news in the morning.

Exciting!
We're almost there!
Episode 2 got its Australian rating today.
Link to rating.
Exciting! I don't remember the last time the New Zealand and Australian classifications were this close.
Wow that seems pretty tame for an M rated game.
It's pretty good to see, it looks like they are aiming for a September 13th release due to the ratings being so close.
Not sure if this is about Batman Ep3 or a new project.
Game of Thrones Season 2?
Thanks for clarifying

But they're both dead (Rodrik being determinant)
Ayy, welcome back Carley!
So I take it you finally got the game working?
