Who here is growing out their hair?
I have been growing out my hair since March. The front is halfway down my face, the sides are completely covering my ears, and the back is at the bottom of my neck.
So far I am really liking it. I like long hair, and have always wanted to try it out, and decided that this year would be the year.
I wanna get it down to at least my shoulders, and if I get real ambitious, I might just grow into the middle of my back.
Anyway I was just curious if anyone else on here, but you like men, were growing their hair out, and if so how long have you been doing so, and where is it?

But you like men was supposed to say - "Men in particular. "
In other words I was wondering if there were any other men on here who were growing out their hair, or am I the only one?
Women can answer this to if they would like.
I am a male and I have always had long curly hair, but I don't really like it and have always been very self-conscious about it.
I am, but only because I hate getting it cut - you have to go outside for a start, then you're confined to a chair, and then (like that wasn't bad enough) you have to engage in awkward conversation with the guy and before you know it, you're pretending to care about his dog or something. And you don't properly understand 'haircut language,' so you wind up with the wrong style, but that doesn't matter, since you just lie and say it looks good anyway. When it doesn't.
Next thing you know, you're talked into getting a straight razor shave, and you break-out along the jawline, but that's alright, you can't see it over all the cuts. And then to top it all off, you pay him for it. Awful.... or at least, that's my experience.
So anyway, yes, I'm growing out my hair. But not through choice.
For the time being, my hair is almost down to shoulder length. But I usually grow it out for around a year, then shave it all off.
I hate barbers so I cut it myself with an electric razor.
I've tried, but my hair just doesn't grow out, it becomes thick and bushy. It's a shame, head banging looks so much better with long hair.
When I saw your name on the discussion, I fucking knew you'd comment something about head banging on this thread!
And yes, it is fucking tits to thrash your hair around like a wild animal.
I've had a ton of different hairstyles. Right now I have it pretty short but I have had my hair to shoulder length many times.
I haven't cut my hair in about a year now, so yeah, definitely longer than expected. Problem is, some girls like it when it's short and others when it's long. I think it's rather cool longer. I feel I lose a little of my personality when it's too short.
My hair gets extremely curly when it rains, otherwise it's pretty straight. Strange stuff man.
Yeah it's grown about couple inches above my shoulder right now, I let it fall down my forehead too like usual. I mainly grow it out for winter season but the tangles are a pain
This thread just came in the right time, I've been growing my hair for a month to try something new, I think I'm going to leave it like that until it becomes the same length as my beard (well.. my future beard).
But I'm certain that problems will come with it too, it could get nasty very easily, it would be hard to make it fully straight (especially since my hair is so curly and dry), it would take a ton of care to look good and finally, it will be sad to cut it all off after this long journey, I would probably donate it to charity to feel less bad.
What kind of beard are you gonna go for?
I usually ask for layered cut (I'm not sure if that's the good word in english) on the sides and keep it longer on the upper side of my head.
I had it longer when I was young, and the result was fucking terrible, what a mess. It just wasn't for me, but as long as you like it, you should keep it that way.
I have longish hair. Usually I go to cut it when it gets to the point where it starts curling or starts covering my eyes.
Etfqh
I used to have my hair down to my mid-back. I cut it because I wanted a mohawk and had it short for a while. I'll tell you, I regret cutting my hair and am growing it back out. It's about shoulder length after 9 months.
Maybe you should get yourself something like this babyliss easy cut or a off brand version so you can clip your own hair
But seriously though, I'd probably look like this
or this
I'm willing to make it look long, thick and soft, but that's probably not happening :P
Not at the moment, but a few years ago when All Out War in The Walking Dead, I vowed to not cut my hair until Negan died.
Needless to say, I compromised when he was captured because it got way too long for me...
I tried, but my hair just ended up becoming a curly mop on my head, so I ended up cutting them off.
Ah, the cons of having curly hair.
(?) Barber will remember that.
Barbers killed my family and paralyzed me, leaving me an empty hollow shell of the carefree child I once was.
No, not really. I don't really care about my hair, but if it gets too long or it goes in my eyes too much, then I'll cut it.
I'm trying to
but it's choosing to thin out and recede instead
c'est la vie
Yep, it is growing the hell outta me, im almost long-haired...some mistake me for a girl when I was 10, lol.
Nah... I had a short-middle length haircut once but then I decided to stick with the short one. Much more comfortable, expecially if you play sports.
I mean I am, but not on purpose, more or less just because I wear a hat so often I don't even consider how long it is. Since before May
