  • That was not singled out towards you, but a general warning for everyone.

Apologies, but I truly am trying.

  • What is going on is that people who were previously afraid to openly discriminate and bash on minorities now feel like they can just because of Trump's attitude. And so they go ahead and do it.

Trump did not magically convert people into close-minded jerks; those people were already like that, and they just weren't honest about it.

Exactly, but this entire thread is basically saying, "EVERYONE'S A RACIST BECAUSE OF TRUMP! TRUMP WILL TURN EVERYONE INTO A RACIST!" That's about as stupid as blaming EVERY SINGLE problem in America on some President you don't like.

  • The thing is, the amount of racists didn't suddenly surge because trump was elected. No one saw trump get elected and thought "hmm, I think I'll be a racist now." But the people who have already held those beliefs are just temporarily emboldened because they think they've somehow "won", though they're still grossly outnumbered. I'm not saying awful things can't happen, i'm just saying I think it's absurd to say America will ever reach the point where we repeat the Salem witch trials or the holocaust. It will never be that way.

May God show mercy to America

Well, God is the current president of the United States, so of course he'll show mercy!

May God show mercy to America, Especially on the souls who cause suffering for the innocent. And may God show compassion to the selfish and

  • Saying Trump's election created racists wasn't what I said, you simplify and exaggerate what I said so it sounds dumb. His speech clearly increased the hate they felt.
In this case, their hate probably existed before his election, but with him they found a way to express it openly. And yes, his election, and mainly his speeches are responsible of this.

Did you watch the link the guy who made this thread made? There's a goddamn child beaten because of this. Watch what they wrote/said are linked to a reason; trump and the fact he's elected.
Now you can believe it's temporary because he was just elected.. You can believe freedom, equality and democracy are immortal, but if you study a little bit of history, you can easily see it can vanishes as wind: pretty fast. Because if you take your time to sound the alarm, it will be too late. If a thing is sure, it's that you don't have to be the majority to persecute people. We french clearly know it.

No, I'm not calling an apocalyspe because he was elected; still buring your head in the sand saying "everything is fine" is as wrong.

  • Flag burning is an anarchist thing. Not an ImWithHer thing.

Just to remind that there are always two sides to a coin.

  • God is not man. He is the Father, the Son, The Holy Spirit.

You may think Trump is a "god" but he is almost no different than the snake that Jesus had crushed beneath his foot.

  • So Trump was meant to drop out to stop people from having a tantrum? What happened to people being responsible for their own actions?

The only reason people started this up is because Trump won.

  • Neither of us said that.

I'm not. So you can't say that for everyone. People where afraid of their loss, because they are paranoid. This same bullshit was said when any president someone didn't like was elected. "oh the end of the world because I didn't get my way". Anyways, pretending that the end of the world is coming because, somehow Trump, Im welcoming it, does it really matter? because the world was just soo perfect before Trump became president -_- You obviously think God is returning, why are you afraid?

People aren't afraid of the loss of the election, they're now afraid for their LIVES.

  • We should remember that the majority of Americans didn't vote for Trump, and so blaming 'America' as a whole is unfair.

  • It's all ogre now

  • Democrats and Liberals helped Trump win.

They didn't say 'all people are afraid for their lives', they said 'people' are, which is true.

You seem to think that people are scared PURELY because of the fact that they didn't win and they wanted to, rather than due to specific policies, and due to the implications of, for example, voting in a vice president who believes in curing gay people with electric shock therapy.

If Hillary won with some crazy vice president who wanted to 'cure' white people with skin treatments then white people would understandably be concerned.

  • Yes, because of anti-trump protesters. Is that really Trumps fault? What has the world come to when you blame the person who just happened to win, instead of blaming the people who should suck it up and stop crying about it, they are the ones destroying and setting things on fire, I just watched a video of them doing it.

  • I don't mean it like what your thinking. It was their fault for choosing Hillary instead of Bernie. They did so because they wanted a woman president. If it was Bernie, because of no terrible past records, he more than likely would have won and beat Trump.

  • Yes, because they're stupid, not because Trump told anyone to do that or that Trump himself had anything to do with it. People will use any little thing to manipulate it as an excuse to behave a certain way, they always have.

Idiots believe that it is acceptable to behave like that as a product of Trump's candidacy and thriumph.

Paranoid. Whatever. Live your life in fear, and join the people crying over it, see where that gets you. The complete opposite seems to happen on the republicans side when a democrat won. Trumps not even in the office and you people are thinking your lives are over. Like I said, the wrong people get blamed. Its not Trump ruining your lives, its YOU.

  • At this point I think I have the right to have this attitude. Online protesting is much different than actual public protesting, hope you know that. Real damage is going on, and its not Trump doing it.

  • No. It will be taken down if someone attacks you personally, but not if they're just using it to illustrate a point. Nobody cares if one person or another gets "offended". "Fucking hell, guys" and "shit" is in no way out of line for a mature online forum.

But if people curse so profusely and so often, it can be taken down if one is offended.

Only time will tell us the extent of how much racism will increase in your country with his election.

That's what's I took my arguement from so I did not try to simplify what you are saying, my argument being racism is not increasing, just intensifying. Stop assuming no one knows anything about history, it was one of my best and favorite subjects in school. Of course I know there are patterns of these things happening in the past, and I'm not pretending that everything is just fine (which is simplifying MY argument to sound dumb) But I'm saying that the things that happen two days after the election are likely not the things that are going to be happening for four years. America has a system of checks and balances to help keep the extreme in check. If this continues the people will notice and act on this, because it will not be tolerated. I don't think that the future of democracy is breaking down in this one day.
