Why not ? Telltale have different teams working alongside.
It's either that or Ep4 is delayed to early December which I'd totally fine with.
Quality is paramount.
Also just as a fan, I really did not like when they released an episode from 2 different games on the same day. If Walking Dead came out the same day as Batman ep 4 Id be pretty upset because I would just be torn on which to play. Also I dont like playing them both the same day because after I finish a new episode I like to digest and think about it and the story and look up other choices and what others did. Instead I feel as if I had have to choose which game to play first, then immediately play the other so it doesnt get spoiled for me, and just ruin my experience for both.
Yeah, I had too end up doing that with Batman episode 3 and King's Quest's final chapter. I ended up playing King's Quest at midnight, and finished before 3. I was too tired to appreciate it.

So there's only two Tuesdays left in November and like people are saying a double release would be a bad idea because more people are hyped for the walking dead. I have a feeling the walking dead should be first priority for telltale because people have been waiting for about three years but I wonder how telltale will do this.
So Batman will be out this month for sure, and The Walking Dead might or might not as well. If Batman isn't out next week, then TWD won't be this month. And the argument that people have waited longer for TWD is invalid. From a business standpoint, releasing Batman Ep4 first makes more sense, because TWD would probably overshadow it otherwise.

The thing is, Walking Dead has been confirmed to be out this month unless, dare I say it it, it was delayed. However, I'm thinking that this Thursday we will get Batman news, Screenshots, release date for 22nd, and then the Thursday that week we get some Walking Dead confirmation and release 29th.
"set to surprise later this month"

I can wait however long I need to, it would just be so much easier if I knew when I was waiting for. I don't understand why we only find out at the last minute when the episodes are going to drop.
We don't. Telltale does reveal exact release dates later than others, but still about 5-7 days before release. That's not really last minute with an episodic format like Telltale's.

I was happy, then I saw smile. Now I am scared of a certain clown...
Well, as long as Joker is good and not too scene-stealing, I will be fine. But I do hope that Telltale twist it and make it Harley Quinn who is the one who loves to smile.
Edit: I stopped watching when I saw a fraction of a second of the teaser. So please, no spoiler.
I really hope so, I am genuinely disappointed that they haven't managed to at least get through one season without shoehorning the Joker in. We don't need the Joker in everything Batman related, so many other good villains that deserve to be used instead.
Welp, seems like Joker's in the game after all. Hopefully it's just an one time thing and he stays in the Asylum.
Also you have a typo in the name of the thread.
OH YES. (As cool as it is to see the Joker here, I didn't really want to see him in this season. But, I think he'll be a one time thing for just the asylum bit... hopefully. We can see more of him next year, let's just focus on your other cool plot, okay Telltale?)
And also, not gunna watch the trailer, no siree. You can tease all you want, but for the final two Episodes of any of your series, I want to be as blind as possible from your trailer. Because that's when the plot gets tense, tense, tense.
They ususally release on the Thursday the week before, or sometimes on the Monday before release. Point is, close to release, especially if it isn't a premiere and just a regular episode. So I'm assuming it will be the 22nd.
Oh shit Bruce getting kicked around as expected.
I'm also expecting November 29th to be the release date but then do Telltale release trailers two weeks before an episode ?

I am oddly excited to see Joker. (Or is it Joseph Kerr? Or Jack Napier?) I mean lord knows we can't have a game without him but it's a great premise having his first encounter being with BRUCE WAYNE instead of Batman. And that laugh from Bruce makes me worried that the toxins are going to have a long term impact...

Let's send Brucie to Arkham. That is where Joker must be. Fans love him, let's show them Joker. Even if he's not important part of story. Just like that punk from "Suicide Squad".
Watched it again and I'm not totally certain, it starts sounding like Troy's Bruce, though I can't be sure. So maybe it is the Joker, though it sounds a tad subdued for him. Joker's normally the type to go for a more maniacal laugh, though who knows what this version is like. His voice definitely has a Heath Ledger vibe going for it...
They might well save it for the game, personally I'm wondering whether he might not quite be Joker yet, either. His skin on the foot didn't seem bleached, but that could be suggesting a Heath Ledger style Joker where its just paint on the skin with scarring rather than falling into a vat of acid. On the other hand we know that the ACE Chemical plant has been on fire since Episode 1, so maybe...

It's a bad idea because batman would get completely ignored by critics, and media if walking dead premiered the same day.

So you're saying the 22nd is the release date ? Because if TWD releases Nov. 29th it does not leave Batman much choice.
Why wouldn't they give walking dead deets with the live stream they are doing?
It's all so confusing, I really wonder what telltale will do with the release because TWD was promised for November.
Well it depends when the stream is, I wouldn't be surprised if we do get a release date during the stream though.
I just noticed that there was a tiny patch today. 88.2 KB. I don't know if they fixed something. But anyone who want to find out?
I can wait however long I need to, it would just be so much easier if I knew when I was waiting for. I don't understand why we only find out at the last minute when the episodes are going to drop.

This looks awesome, i can't wait to see more .
Joker confirmed. Just saying.
Ugggggggh I don't want to see Joker in this series. Oh well news tomorrow regardless of an overused overrated villain.

Maybe the unexpected ally is the Joker, aha. We got to have someone to help us go out Arkham after all.
Lets put a smile on that face.

Yeah I've checked and trailers usually run a few days before the episodes nothing more so 22nd it is.

I thought the laugh was joker.
Seems like it. This is going to be crazy.
Do you think we'll see what joker looks like in the trailer?
He'll just turn out to be a disembodied, talking foot wearing a slipper
