That is the explanation to why she is still a cop after killing Falcone, but doesn't explain why she is working again if she gave up her badge in Ep 3.
There's an explanation in the Gotham news feed, actually. It's just that many people probably don't read that, and on top of that it didn't … moreeven work on PS4 (it just displayed a blank page).
The reason Montoya got reinstated is that she was acting under the influence of the drug and can't be held accountable for her actions (I know it doesn't make sense, she quit voluntarily, it's just the explanation given in the game).
Just went through all 4 episodes in 3 days. It was so good, how have I not played this sooner ;-;. Can't wait for episode 5 now, it'll be interesting hearing Vicky's motives.
I appreciate that Telltale is releasing their episodes fast, but I can't stop feeling that the episode could be rushed.
Can we get some longer development time again?
That makes sense. I remember a LOT of negative feedback against the first episode of TWD season 2, most of it over the story's tone being too nasty. Whether that affected some of the writing or characterization for the next episode, I don't know, but considering the characters behaved less abrasively towards Clementine than they did before, it seems likely.
I think the monthly episodes just mean that they are working on more of the episode in advance, as opposed to rewriting large portions of th… moree episode due to fan feedback. On top of a more consistent story, it also presumably leads to more polished episodes since they aren't working as close to the deadline to incorporate last minute fan feedback.
You know what's the worst? I've gotten it into my head that there's gonna be a choice to save Harvey or Oz and now I'm going crazy trying to figure out what I'd do.
Harvey is locked up in Ep5 so no need to worry too much about him. Oz, I don't know what Telltale could do with him. I really like the idea of him figuring out who we truly are and turning against Lady Arkham as a result.

Yeah, I'm a bit worried too after Episode 4. I have a feeling it's gonna be like 1 hour long and won't wrap up everything in satisfying matter. I'd actually be glad if they took their time and released it in January (or even later, I don't really mind waiting tbh).

I wouldn't be super worried about the legth of episode 5 just because it's releasing fast. Let's not forget the pattern that's been happening, Long, short, long, short. If that continues ep 5 should be a solid hour and a half/ fourty five. Next, episode 5 was being worked on before ep 4 was release which would mean they did want it to come out ASAP and that there was probably a decent amount of work needed for it. The only real fear is that ep 5 won't conclude the story well, and it may feel like episode 4 where nothing really happens and things feel rushed. I think they will wrap everything up and give a good closure to everything though. Let's not forget how episode 4 of Wolf was pretty mediocre compared to the rest of the episodes and how awesome episode 5 was. In Wolf, ep 4 worked almost as a part 1 of part 2 of the final and I'm guessing Batman episode 4 is probably like that too.

While I do have a lot of sympathy for Oz and want those two crazy kids to work it out, I know he has far more control over what he's doing than Harvey so if I had to choose...plus it's kind of Oz's fault this even happened to him.

I am really worried about episode five being rushed, but at the same time, the idealist in me is screaming that this epic season will have an epic finale. Episode four was definitely the weakest in my eyes, but like you said with The Wolf Among Us, the penultimate episodes often feel like a long transition into the game's conclusion. And it seems like the monthly episodical releases are due to Telltale putting things together more before each episode is released, instead of major re-writes due to fan-feedback. I'd say the story is stronger due to this. It has a pretty cohesive flow. Then again, I would not be at all aggravated by a January release. Patience pays off. Aaaaaah, I'm so nervous and excited and hopeful at the same time. I think I need a sedative...

Yeah, Oz justifiable reasons for being angry at the Waynes and the people in control of Gotham, but that doesn't make him any less of a villain or justify the crimes he's committed and the people he's hurt in his "revolution," nor how petty he's being about it.
Harvey, by comparison, has genuine mental problems and seems far more loyal to Bruce, even with his issues and turning on him in episode 4, then Oz does.

I mean... I highly doubt it'll be out by the 13th.
It took them a month and a half to make an hour long episode, so what the fuck are they gonna do in 3 weeks?
They likely work on more than one episode at a time so the 13th could be possible, there is no way they can make a whole episode in 3 weeks as it takes around 2 weeks just to get a episode certified by Sony and Microsoft.

I got the impression that a gap exists in between the completion of one episode, and the release of another. In that context, they may have had enough time to complete it.

I'm positive that Selina will appear in this episode. I don't think her departure in Episode Four was that bad, but if that were her final scene in the Season, I'd be pretty upset. Playing a pro-Selina game and receiving little pay-off would also upset the majority of players, so I don't think you have to worry there. As for it being rushed or not concluded well, I'm concerned too. Not because I don't trust Telltale, but because I love this game, and that love is making me paranoid. You and me both!

Already. Oh man I hope it's not as rushed as Ep4. Don't screw this up Telltale this episode has a lot more to conclude.

Thats what i did due to late android release. I played 3 eps in 2 days and ep4 came out a week later
I agree...you once again reminded me of Selina's scene in ep4
Dec 13th and 20th . Super Excited
I am going to use a catch phrase from Luke Cage for this occasion.
Sweet Christmas!
Yeah

We can't shalk that up to timetable. This is part of Selina's character arc.
The script is probably loooooong done by now.

I don't wanna leave the finale feeling the same way I felt after completing Episode 4.

Aye, Cry Wolf was pretty damn awesome and enjoyable despite the one hour length.
As long as the pacing is good, we should be fine.

Waiting for episode 5 but hoping it isn't rushed like
Wait for Australian Classification to see Themes, Violence, Language, Drug Use, Nudity, and sex all on high impact like
My estimation. December 27th, 2016.
Ttg will be on winter break then...
It will be either dec 13th or Jan
Please no...
Better than a rushed game. Besides, it would still be a shorter wait than what we were used to.
Yeah. And we'd at least get TWD in December anyway, so can't really complain.
Of course we can still complain, and we will.
I'm dying for an Australia rating here usually when new Zealand and Australia rate the episode or news comes two weeks after.
I mean... I highly doubt it'll be out by the 13th.

I'm praying for a 13th December release, what are the chances TT will drop both Batman and TWD on 20th?
My bet is late tonight for us east coast Americans
I pray that we will get to see Selina again in this episode and also hope that this episode is not rushed cause I love my batman telltale series
