Assassin’s Creed | "Enter the Animus" Clip | 20th Century FOX

Eh Sophie you should've told him what happens if you try to resist you get a desynchronization and in the books they went into detail with that unlike the game but they will probably explain that during the load screen that will be a few seconds in the movie I believe and the user can get real damn freaking problems if he doesn't use the memory corridors 100% at your first try without knowing what you do.

For now I have hope and I am pissed because I want to know what happens next

What is this? I remember first game, it was a bed!

I'm sorry Cal. Laying isn't spectacular enough for film producers.

  • You seriously want a bed Animus?!
It makes no sense in a real movie to get out of a bed he spended 12 hours in and move like the greatest acrobat ever, in the games we can feel it as a player because we have new control over the character... And they don't want the movie get compared to the Matrix.
It is way better this way

  • You're awfully hyped for a video game movie from a mediocre game franchise. When has those two things coming together ever turned out good? Because it hasn't. Ever.

  • Good director
    high budget
    amazing actors
Ubisoft has control over it so Fox can't destroy it and I rather have Ubisoft take control than Fox
    good cinema guy with camera
More and more AND FREAKING MORE!
I really damn fucking like to play AC1 for it's story and most people gave up after the first two hours on that, I like to play AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations and AC3 and The Last Descendants novel and The Fall comics. If you are here only to tell me this than please take your time and do something with it please, if the movie is bad in the end well I was wrong.

    Good director

The director of Warcraft was a great director too.

    high budget

Pixels had a high budget too.

    amazing actors

Silent Hill Revelations had amazing actors too.

Ubisoft has control over it so Fox can't destroy it and I rather have Ubisoft take control than Fox

Ubisoft was in control of AC Unity and AC III too. And also, the writers of the Silent Hill games were heavily involved in the first Silent Hill movie. Not to say that movie was a horrible disaster, but it certainly was not good.

    good cinema guy with camera

The cinematography in Pixels, SH Revelations and Warcraft were all pretty good too.

More and more AND FREAKING MORE!

Says every hyped person ever before the thing that they're hyping ultimately disappoints them from way too much hype or the product just being bad.

I really damn fucking like to play AC1 for it's story and most people gave up after the first two hours on that, I like to play AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations and AC3 and The Last Descendants novel and The Fall comics.

Hey I like AC 1, 2, Brotherhood and Revelations too, I think they're awesome. Didn't read the novel or the comics but the AC team has some great writers so I assume those are good too. That doesn't mean jack shit when it comes to the movie though.

If you are here only to tell me this

I'm actually here because I'm keeping up to date and with my current knowledge I think it's gonna suck shit like almost every other video game movie. I just commented on your hype because my friends and I have fallen victim to overhype way too often and I don't want your overhyping to ruin the movie for you. I'm not saying you shouldn't hype it, but look at the pros and the cons.

First of all, I have suicidal depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. "Optimism" really isn't my thing. Second, why be optimistic about a subject that has proved time and time again to be disappointing and awful? Video game movies have never been truly good, they're all awful. Why would this one be any different? It's got the same bullshit circumstances as usual. Maybe it'll be faithful to the games, but there's no way in hell it'll be good. I'll eat a fucking car if this film even reaches 7/10 on any rating system.

  • Great. Now you gotta eat a Hotwheels if the movie gets a 7 outta 10.

  • Mediocre game franchise is kinda subjective, please try to make the difference between your opinion and what you think is the truth. While I think the game went on a "give me cash" line, I wouldn't call it a mediocre game franchise.

Also movies made from a stage play are very often bad. Yet the same team which works on this assassin's creed succeeded to deliver a perfect movie, using the same feeling of the original content. It's an awesome adaptation. I don't see why they wouldn't be able to do the same with a video game.

I don't recall every explicitly stating anything in my comment was the truth actually, nor did I say it wasn't. In fact, it's almost as if I didn't say it either way and that argument is completely irrelevant because I actually don't think any of my opinions are valid because I hate myself! Crazy, right?!

Dude I have suicidal depression since I was 7 years old I almost succeeded a few times and was brought home by the police, almost locked up, I have a therapist, doctors, take medicine every freaking day like: Anti ADHD 7 times a day, anti psycho (well I am not a psycho but my head is fucking retarded mess), anti depression, Vitamine pills, sleeping pills and whatsoever and I have freaking optimism about a game movie! I never have seen such a good team behind a game movie and if this one FREAKING SUCKS (it will get low scores by game journalist because of the 65% MD though but this is a movie not a game) I GIVE PROBABLY UP and AC isn't even a easy concept on the big screen.
Hell most game movies were made by shitty directors in the past and didn't had much of a good concept but I HAVE FREAKING OPTIMISM

  • No, no, it's fine. That was just a ton to take in and I had a bit of an anxiety attack. I think I can respond accordingly now.

Dude I have suicidal depression since I was 7 years old I almost succeeded a few times and was brought home by the police, almost locked up, I have a therapist, doctors, take medicine every freaking day

And I've had it mostly the same way, that's how it's been for me for a while. But unlike you, it's completely killed my optimism. Don't fucking go willy nilly like no one else has been through shit like you man, because people have, and people get it. Right now I have a whole new opinion of you as a person and I'm so sorry you've been through that. No human being should have to do that. If you ever need to talk just DM me.

I never have seen such a good team behind a game movie

I've honestly seen a team as good behind a video game movie before, but you're not wrong. That is a damn fine team behind the film. I'd probably be pissed myself if it fails and I'm don't even think it'll be good.

AC isn't even a easy concept on the big screen.

AC isn't an easy concept for Ubisoft either. Assassin's Creed is such an amazing and cool concept and it kicks serious ass, but Ubisoft constantly mishandles the series and it's concepts, and while it's understandable, they've made 16 AC games since 2006 and each one since II gets progressively worse, with the exception of Black Flag. I get pissy with the franchise for two reasons, and the biggest one is because it's such a cool concept.

Hell most game movies were made by shitty directors in the past and didn't had much of a good concept

    This is not wrong.

    I HAVE FREAKING OPTIMISM

And that's your thing, and I'm not trying to stop you from having optimism. But I want you to be a bit more cautious with your hype. You might hype it up so much that even if it succeeds it'll fail in your eyes because you expected too much. I've seen it happen before, so many people hated Twilight Princess because they overhyped it, and Twilight Princess is one of the best Zelda games. Just try and keep an open mind to both sides of the coin. It could be good, it could be bad. But don't hype it up too much.

I'm honestly so sorry that anything i said may have upset you or forced you to relive painful memories from that time in your life, I don't and didn't want that for you and I'm sorry it's become such a thing. But personally for me, it's hard to see a reason to be optimistic in this one, and I have reasons but that's irrelevant from this conversation. If you're excited then that's completely fine, but don't fall victim to overhype please, I have before and it's not a good feeling.

  • Sadly video game movies are still kicking. Hopefully one day one will be good though.

Also, AC doesn't completely suck. Syndicate was alright.
