Genuinely curious as to what happened that has warranted such a delay. Communication would be much appreciated. It would also likely help temper some of the anger some people are feeling.

Played the season finale last night on PS4, however most of the episode there was no problem. Just towards the end suddenly the entire screen goes green several times, then it gets back but with a green overlay and green shiny tearing through the textures when the rest of the screen seems normal again. Parts of it were completely unviewable but I just didn't want to stop before I knew how it ended, so I just focussed on the dialogues and everything, but seriously TellTale, this is not what I have come to expect from you guys! Love all your games, but this stuff really needs to be fixed!
I remember when something like this happened with the first season of The Walking Dead. They gave everyone a key for the steam version as, once again, that platform already saw the episode release. And again with Jurassic Park. When JP's entire season was substantially delayed everyone who pre-ordered was given a coupon to redeem any game from the TellTale catalog.
I'm not demanding anything like that again, those actions were above and beyond. But is it too much to ask just to be told what's actually going on? Details about the issues? An actual estimation for when we might receive it? Anything?
I think it is totally reasonable to demand compensation. And those actions are not above and beyond. People should start demanding that now in light of the lack of communication and performance issues.
