I guess I just had a different experience with it. It felt pretty final, particularly if you don't follow her. It lets you, as Piggs says, fill in the blanks. I don't really see a future to that story.
I don't mean to be a pessimist, but I don't see how Vicki could've survived an avalanche of rubble, all the while with her head left defense… moreless and her person being confined from the only known exit. I understand that I could suspend my disbelief, and I have multiple times throughout this game and 98% of the fiction I digest. I just don't quite think there's any plausible way for her situation to not be fatal, even by fictional standards.
I am really upset by the fact that she died, and not in the argh, this is such an outrage! way, but more or less that her demise was devastating. She was an amazing antagonist, and her death did leave such a tragic impact, and I mean this positively. I wish things could've been different. The parallels between her and Bruce were so engaging, and not only made her character so well-done, but also her exit. I felt this strange, almost empty feeling, lingering behind the curtains following our intense stand… [view original content]
To remind us that the GCPD is incompetent and the Joker easily managed to escape once they arrived to secure the scene despite disguise being impossible with his distinctive look?
Resurrection seems a little more mythical than we've gotten from Telltale Batman so far (not that it couldn't change). Rehabilitation if she's just badly hurt or in a coma is another matter.
Agreed. Also if you manage to redeem Harvey Vicki would serve as a replacement
If Vicki does come back then you would have to involve the Court of Owls. They could play a hand in resurrecting Vicki, but she'll be their assassins
I hope not. Vicki is such a great character, one of my favorite villains yet. It'd be such a waste to kill her in such a mediocre way. My reaction to her walking away with the knowledge of my identity got a better reaction out of me then simply dying right there.
If she is alive, I will be very upset. She was a great character to build Batman up, now let's be introduced to the therapist villain, Bane, Killer Croc, Scarecrow, and Joker. I'd love to see Scarecrow continue Vale's work with the venom drug. Remember that it's better to burn out than fade away.
But the Court of Owls in the comics did have something that can resurrect people. If they mix it with some science and magic then something could come out of it. Maybe a technology to resurrect or clone them into becoming part of their inner circle

The Court of Owls in the comics have something that could bring a person back from the dead. A white chemical thing that can repair the body. It worked with Joker as he was shot 3 times by Gordon and still live until his fight with Batman. Batman's skull was cracked and he died, but the white substance was poured into his skull and he came back with memory loss. That's during the Gordon Batman arc.
Vicki could be dead, but the Court of Owls could resurrect her with that same substance. Only question is how will this version work to bring a person back from the dead
Well, there is a saying that no one stays dead in comic books except for Jason Todd. Of course, they even brought him back to life eventually. So yeah, she is definitely not dead.

It's not a guarantee, though. Since TWD games, what other TTG has had a season 2? I don't even know whether or not they truly confirmed season 2 for GoT.
It's a rule in storytelling that if you don't see the body, they're not dead. Sometimes you can even see the body, and some bad writing will somehow bring them back or say, "They were just knocked out." But yeah, Lady Arkham's definitely alive, but I rather not deal with her again if there's another season.
Vertigo and Gearbox are the ones who don't let Telltale make Season 2 for TWAU and TFTBL. This Batman game is directed by Telltale, no one can stop them from making a Season 2.

Isn't there supposedly a eternal youth fountain that can also bring back the dead ? Raus AL Ghul found it and he fought and beat Batman on numerous occasions. I guess that could bring her back, yet this Gotham seems to be realistic scenarios. I'm guessing TT is going for New York type setting with Spiderman from the movies.

Ed, last I checked the writers had made a tweet about getting together and everyone assumed it was for season 2 until they said otherwise. That was either earlier this year or sometime last year.

From what I saw she looked pretty dead to me. But I don't know that much about Batman lore. It may not be viable to kill her off.
Who knows: she may have gotten out alive,
I really want a season 2 for Batman, but for some reason I don't really see it happening

Why?
Season 2:
Bruce: I thought you were dead...
Vicki: I got lucky... real lucky.
Calling it now.

Superman was brought back as a cyborg for awhile, lol.
There's the Lazarus Pit, too, which may be more mainstream. Depends how fantasy they want to go.
The Lazarus Pit might tread in more magic territory, but that could be a possibility if they would consider it
Cyborg Superman was Hank Henshaw, different person.
"Old families like ours should flock together you know, like birds."
I feel she probably will show up again, with a fantastic beard to boot.
Like thiiiis -
"I got lucky, Bruce. Real lucky."
EDIT: Scrolled down and saw it was already said
My only experience with the Court of Owls is from the Batman vs Robin animated film but they seem interesting.
LOL that's funny.
Her story's over bro
And if not, the Lazarus Pit can make her so if the League of Assassins recover her body.
Or the League of Assassins (could be where she got her training) and the Lazarus Pits.
The Court of Owls has also been adapted for Season 3 of Gotham.
If mainstream audiences can accept the concept in Arrow, I don't think Telltale will have a problem.

That was a weird time with DC lol. I don't know much about DC, I just remember that moment.
Reminds me of Last Action Hero that starred Arnold, lol.
