They've all been said already but Silent Hills, Mega Man Legends 3 and most recently Scalebound were all highly anticipated games that shouldn't have been cancelled.
I'm still quite surprised Scalebound was cancelled, I wasn't following the news on it's rocky development but the game looked like it was actually near completion from what I saw.
For File 1 I had this cheat code disc thing, where I was able to play solo, and stopped the virus gauge from going up. It meant I could play it like a normal Resident Evil game without distracting AI partners stealing my shit, and not feel constricted on a time limit. I'd play as Yoko too to get the extra item slots and have more of a survival horror thing going, since on a harder difficulty it served out more of a challenge and Yoko's not got much health. That, and using her crawl escape command helped both to escape damage and to get away from zombies if trapped in a corner.
Yup, if there's ever a remaster I'm playing as Yoko >.>
I say now's a good time to make an HD release seeing how prominent online gaming is. It was hard doing it solo since the AI partners were du… moremb as heck and I had no online for PS2 back then. Could never beat the games cuz of my partners kept dying. ;-;
Scalebound. It was one of my most anticipated games of all time. The only other games I was looking forward to was pokemon and kingdom hearts 3. But even then, not as much as I was scalebound. it was THE reason for my buying of an xbox one, and it was cancelled. REAALLLLLYYY bummed me out.
Also prey 2. That made me depressed for a while because from the concept, it was like my dream game.
Oh something like a gameshark? Lucky! I could never get one. I would get absolutely triggered when my character collapsed from the virus before dying, the whole thing was an annoying feature of the games. Yoko is definitely a good pick for item gathering! I just always use Kevin since he has a personal handgun (pretty strong too) and can have another as well. lol

Yeah and Kevin's got a good kick thing and if you hold the gun long enough he'll do a type of markmans shot and increases damage on an enemy. I did have a go of using the plumber guy once, since you can use him to craft weapons.
Okay, HD remaster ever happens we should be a team! I'll be the tortise with the backpack, and you be the rabbit with the badass gun >.> we be awesome.

Yes! That's what I love about him. It's so useful! But I didn't know about that marksman shot this entire time, I thought it was just the kick. xD I tried the plumber too during the final chapter of File 2 since it was more of his scenario (my brother beat them both so I as able to try any chapter), he's pretty good.

Seriously though I hope it happens.
The one game that I wish weren't cancelled was Milliways: The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, which was supposed to be the continuation of the adaptation of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, until the project fell through in 1989.
Also, Zork: The Philosopher's Stone, a prequel to Zork Nemesis, was supposed to put the player in the perspective of Lucien Kaine, and to explain why he became the Thief of Zork I before succumbing to the attacks of the future Second Dungeon Master and fully becoming the Nemesis.
