Well, since Episode 3 already has a release date and how Episodes 4 and 5 are most likely deep into development, it will still probably be feeling the effects of Bruner's tenure as CEO. We won't really start seeing or feeling the changes Connors brings as CEO until GOTG most likely.
While I don't really have enough evidence to say Connors will absolutely do better, there was no doubt that, under Bruner, team's were heavily micromanaged and mismanaged, we saw a decrease in overall quality with a cutback in quantity as well (the length of the episodes), the relationship between the fans and the company was progressively getting worse, as was the relationship between the company and its employees, he wasn't making smart business decisions (appealing to new players with ANF), and the way the company communicated was outright abysmal (took 4 months to release a patch for Batman with no updates as to the progress of it, lying to their fans).
So a lot of people's excitement, especially in my case, is not so much that Connors is returning, its that Bruner is finally stepping down.
If this will take Telltale in better directions, then I am all for it.
But I am curious, what makes you guys think Dan Connor will do a better job as CEO? It is simply because he was the CEO before and he got past experience?
Wish this wasn't all happening halfway through the season. It'll suffer.
I wouldn't mind that much if they refunded people and just went back to the drawing board.
I'm pretty relieved that this is happening after the "premiere is too big" and "42 starting points" lie.
I just hope he didn't ruin TWDG before he left.
I would not want to be a CEO of anything these days. Deadlines, stockholders, customers who always act over entitled even when they shouldn't. (points @ self) Two years, seems to be a norm in business today. I predict one year tenures or bank collapse. Free markets can't handle every company changing leadership just to save face with their public image. By and large change this often in a company shows something is wrong. But TTG looks strong in the markets as of this morning. The sad fact is you can bat 100 and still lose. You can also strike out and win.
Stockholders are not an issue for Telltale as they are a privately owned company, so I don't know how they look "strong in the markets as of this morning."

My bad, but I saw coverage of TTG on a Stock Market show. Somebody fronts the money to make these games. Be it WB, Marvel or TTG or magic. My point is TTG are heroes to some market analysis folks. Just assumed they must be publicly traded.

now that's mean. we don't know his reasons and kevin seems like a great guy from his interviews! I hope we treat this respectfully. and I hope kevin is still around.
Yes you are right, Telltale has used a system of bringing in investors to fund some new projects in the past. TWD was one such project. Plus they have contracts with companies that are very much publically traded...like Warner Bros and Marvel/Disney. No company operates in a bubble that keeps them from being subject to the whims of shareholders.

What if we make this man the new CEO of Telltale :
The only problem i see with that option, is that we were not getting more than 2 episodes for all of TTG Games

I hope they're able to manage they're released content better than now. ANF EP3 is already released for console users while the rest of us have to wait over a week.
.w.
I thought that when they realese the new game, they are creating a new team that is working on that one particular game so it doesn't affect other games. It has changed, or did I got the wrong info?

Anyone know why?
This is perfection.
Remember these three words: Quality over quantity
Stop doing dozen games at once.

Hell has a better chance of freezing over.

Kevin Bruner Will Remember That...
S3 was ruined. Episode 3 is pretty much finished so don't expect changes there, Ep4 and 5 might be good if we're lucky...
I am honored my meme could be so critically acclaimed.

Well, uh... Hmm.
Don't know how I feel about this.
No it wasn't because Season 3 doesn't exist, this is A New Frontier.
Stockholders are not an issue for Telltale as they are a privately owned company, so I don't know how they look "strong in the markets as of this morning."
I was about to say the same.
We'll see how it goes I guess ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Before, they worked on 5 games at once... now they'll work on 10!

All I know is it makes me nervous
please give me my bigby "beefcake" wolf back, telltale
I leave. Dan steps down. I come back. Kevin steps down.
Coincidence?
I say we hug it out.
No one handles me like Dan does.

ANF is so bad he just had to go

Also guys i think i predicted that Kevin will step out, a few days ago, somewhere on the forum!

Sees the picture of Gabe....YOU SON OF A BITCH...WHERE THE FUCK IS HALF-LIFE 3....WHAT YOU NO LIKE MONEY???
What did you do?
Fuck yeah
That made me lose my shit
Hmmm, good points. A toast to hopefully a brighter Telltale Future.
Raise a glass of champagne.
I think this is the right move for Kevin to step down. I think that Dan Connors is more capable as a CEO than Kevin and Kevin knows that as well.
I hope they're able to manage they're released content better than now. ANF EP3 is already released for console users while the rest of us have to wait over a week.

Wait, sorry. What? It is?
I want this pic with a high quality very bad
It leaked for a few people.
