Please tell me how this thirteen year old girl's story of growing up in the apocalypse since she was a very young girl is somehow already over. Please tell me how she has gone through everything there possibly is to go through and there is nothing left to explore. Please tell me how playing with a well developed character (up until season 3, one can argue) for 5 years SEEING her grow up in the apocalypse is SOMEHOW not good enough and requires a full restart with someone we hardly know.
Please, tell me.
Or please finally come to the realization that Clementine isn't the problem with this game.
TT is not ready to give up on Clem. She's a cash cow for them. And they plan to milk that cow as long as possible, even if it means making false promises like they did for ANF.
Hell, I'm sure they've already figured out her five minutes cameo appearance in TWD season 4 which will be presented to us as Clem being a major protagonist of the season to come.
Why you people think that Clementine doesnt have anything left to say in this series? I just dont understand the way you think -__-
Would you be happier if she was replaced by someone else? Why? I will tell you a secret.....Prepared?
The only difference between a new character (that would potentionaly replace her) and Clem is that we already know Clem´s story and we like her...yeah thats it.Its not like they ran out of ideas for her new story..... because the same story that can be told with a brave new character can be told with Clem as main protagonist/playable character as well.Write a comment if you disagree
Do you get it now? So stop whining like "she is just a fanservice now"/"why do they still keep her around"/hope they will kill her off"
Bullshit!!!! Get your shit together you people who claim shit like these.
I hoping he dies in this one, and we are gonna play as Clemy again and took care of AJ by playing only as Clemy in Season 4
P:S I'm also hoping for playable Clemy in ANF in a few DLC episodes, if DLC's will be at all!
I was asking you and I guess I got my answer. I just feel that it isn't necessary to follow Clementine till the ends of the earth (like Rick Grimes). If the finale can convince me that she can do more in a future season I'll reconsider.

Apologies for offending you I guess. Just expressing my opinion is all.
Its not even a game breaker if they decide to use her in future installments just my two cents. I just rather not be stuck to one central character...forever.

Maybe I'm just being a contrarian, but I honestly feel it would benefit them to move on from Clementine - not due to lack of story potential, but because they aren't going to live up to Season 1 and it's just going to keep pissing off the hardcore Clem fans when Season 4 (or New Frontwoer: Electric Boogaloo) fails to live up to the romanticized fantasies of a sequel on par with (or above) the quality of Season 1.
I disagree with fans who hold the notion that Sean V/Jake R were the only good writers/designers in all of Telltale's history, but I do feel that they were the only ones who really had a feel for writing Clem. If other writers aren't living up to fans' standards to the point where fans are just getting angry and agitated, I feel it would be better for Telltale to try new ideas instead and to leave off Clem's story on a decent note.

Telltale games would realse the final episode of the season somewhere around the middle or late may like around the 22nd or the 27th who knows,I don't think they wanna rush this season it will be too soon.
But I'll tell you what I'm in no hurry, they'll release it when they realse it.
Is this based on any reasonable logic?... or? So you're saying that in order to not piss off Clem fans they should remove her from the game? what? Since you have completely missed the point, people aren't angry at the games not being on the same level as Season 1, people are simply angry because the games are plain bad and because Clem doesn't get the treatment she deserves.

Lol thats what I was thinking about, the attachment between players and the characters in the game are incredibly poor.Let's face it--what would happen if Clem werent even in ANF? 70% of the players wouldnt bought the game.
I have loved all four of EPs on TWD ANF, I look forward to EP 5, especially since my kate is supposedly either dead or injured very-very badly, also I look forward to what Javi and co will do to get away/survive from the Muertos.
Also, I'm waiting on GoTG ep 2 too( stoked for that one too) and then after that.......well..erm =/ I don't know what I'll be playing after I have finished anf and so forth.
I think we need a proper season that has us play as Clem as she struggles to take care of AJ, as Lee once did for her. Then her character arc would be complete. And maybe we could play as AJ in the next season...
That's just what I think the only fitting end to Clementine's story will be.
I think more likely a Javier vs David in the finale.
Especially when David knows about Javi stealing his wife or Javi and his wife had been a thing for 4 years.
Perhaps Clem or Gabe will save Javi.
Hmm, I'm not really sure what would spark a big enough conflict between the two, other than the fact he took AJ.
...
Unless...
Maybe Clementine finds AJ at the ranch, but David has been raising him as his own son, as Lingard kind-of said. And so when Clem tries to take AJ back, David tries to stop her, which causes a fight between the two over who gets to keep AJ.

But he knows they're alive in present time, right now. So why would he want him? Plus, It'll be awkward if David DID win him over. "Hey Kate and Gabe, check out my new baby I won"

I hope Telltale releases the season finale before 28.5...
My holiday starts on 28.5 and right after it I'm going on a month long vacation without available Internet.
If they release it on 30.5, that's an extra month of waiting for me.
They need to stop ruining her, that's what they need to do. Removing her wont fix anything. Can't solve a problem with another problem.
What more does she have to offer?

"Clemy"
ALL HANDS ON DECK WE'RE HEADING INTO MASSIVE CRINGESTORM

Ooooh boy.
You just kicked the hornet's nest, punched it and set it on fire.
Its far too late for me the stings were not only painful, but also poisonous...ow

Thats kinda why I liked that they decided to make Javier the main character this season.
This. My thoughts exactly (just y'know made clear and not vague)
what when??? literally what I feel so behind

Does anyone else have hope for a May 16 release or am I being too optimistic?
Yeah, couple weeks ago I said the 16th. It will release the 16th unless guardians does which is possible.
I hope TWD comes out soon, as soon as it ends the earlier GOT comes back. (L)

Omg, something just got into my mind. Will there be a David vs Clementine in the finale just like Kenny vs Jane in Season 2?
I hope not because that'd mean both die later down the line.
If they make Clem Determinant, TTG HQ will burn.
Agreed.
I don't think they should remove her just yet.

You have a reputation for making predictions that turn out to be true with A New Frontier... Let's see if this one will live up to that.
I think more likely a Javier vs David in the finale.

Play Portal 2 afterwards, or The Last of Us, or Tales from the Borderlands (If you haven't already).
This might be written in the storyline, but not likely a finale.
This would fit in the chapter 'lies and promises'?
Why would he want AJ though?
Finally someone is catching on, lol.
Perhaps he missed his own kids? At the time David thought his family died.
But he knows they're alive in present time, right now. So why would he want him? Plus, It'll be awkward if David DID win him over. "Hey Kate and Gabe, check out my new baby I won"
Lol you are right.
Never say that again please
Well then, that would be just as awkward as the "Hey David... Me and Kate... We're... a thing" talk Javi's gonna have with him in episode 5.
I am really confused right now. What the heck is wrong with Gamespot's reviews for ANF?
Episode One: 9
Episode Two: 8
Episode Three: 6
Episode Four: 7
I don't understand. The great episodes got bad ratings and the bad episodes got great ratings. Episode four is at least an 8 for me.
