I always ask people around here "if you hate a new frontier, why play it" and I know that it is because they don't want their money to go to waste. Well why are you even on the forums waiting for it to be released if you hate it?
The 1-3 minute minute flashbacks that are lazily designed don't give much validity to AJ being a main storyline. And just because clementine… more mentions AJ doesn't meant he's an important part of the story. Kenny constantly mentions Duck and Katja which doesn't mean they are an important storyline or relevant to the plot.
Because I like telltale and I want ANF to be good. ANF is the only game I was immensely excited about coming out to the point it influenced me buying a MSI gaming laptop. I genuinely believed ANF would be a fresh and unique approach to the walking dead which I was eagerly waiting to experience which unfortunately was not the case. I'm also as harsh on telltale about ANF because I 100% know they can do better and want them to do better than this abysmal product known as ANF. I have been saying through the entire series I hoped it would eventually improve and be fantastic which unfortunately did not happen. Just because I love telltale and the walking dead it does not mean I can mindlessly excuse the piss poor writing, poor pacing, poorly written characters, unnecessary love drama and plot holes. I'm also here because I like the community and as I stated before I like telltale. I don't want to dislike the walking dead, however you have to call it as it is in your opinion which to me is a poorly written and executed product. As I've stated before I always hope for the best which doesn't mean it will happen.

My clem didn't do a single one of those things, that's the thing. The closet thing to sassy was still. Not. Bitten. In my playthrough, and s… morehe didn't swear once, not even on the bridge because I failed the QTE. I also don't recall her directly killing anybody, and Kenny was determinant.
This is Telltale.
It is not like you play 40 different games in one season with 160 different scenes possible. The outcome is finally the same, but dialogues are different.
Hmmm... weird. Maybe theyll pull a Walking Dead 205 or a Batman 105
TWD E5 released August 26, "A26" this tweet was 6 days before. … more They had everything done and needed only the classification to talk about it. Meanwhile, 305 has been classified for 14 days already.
The next day, 5 days before the episode released, they dropped a trailer.
Meanwhile, more recently, Batman's 105 trailer released one day before the episode did. I really wonder why they've been so quiet about 305...

I agree you are right. The Clementine I developed in the past 2 seasons was on the road to end up acting like she does ANF. I love how Clementine acts in ANF I would have chosen all of the dialogue that she says if I was playing as her because that is the character I have developed. I lucked out, but it is annoying for those who like the softer, more polite, and social Clementine. This is not a product of bad writing Telltale just didn't make all of the alternate versions of Clementine.
If Clementine was the main character Telltale wouldn't have had to deal with making the different versions of Clementine. (which they didn't even do)
I agree! While many of the same outcomes happen, everybody's Lee, Clementine, and Javier have various different personalities determined by the player.
This is Telltale.

What are talking about? I'm saying that everyone doesn't like how clem acts because their clem didn't do that. So it's not the writing, it's the fact telltale didn't bother to make your clem matter. But the Clem in ANF is still present in s2 so the basically took that clem and set it for everyone

Yeah let's just ignore the fact we've played/known her for 2 seasons right?
Telltale obviously forgot about old players and old characters, evident by this bloody season.
There is no way to be soft anymore alone in the dark woods, just having walkers to talk to and being cautious for bandits and rapists.
And don't forget she lost her baby son. Aj was all she loved. Always worried to have food and every day feeling like starving on her own as a 13-year old child.
Clem does not have the luxuries anymore to be sweet and soft since she lost her guardians who took care for her (Lee, Kenny, Christa, Wellington etc.)
Finally she was forced to end up like a Jane.
Unlike Gabe who was lucky to have guardians for 4 years.

It seems I am one of the few people who like the Darker Clementine and built up that version of her in the first 2 seasons. I find her more interesting and tragic than the Clementine who stayed sweet and soft during season 2 because it shows that the apocalypse can turn an innocent sweet little girl into a super callused anti-social dangerous survivor who still has a heart underneath it all but only AJ and her closest friends see that side of her.
But everyone needs to keep in mind that having your child ripped out of your arms and being led to believe that despite your best efforts died anyways can make even the nicest person go dark. But it would have been better if we were just playing as Clem this season because then they wouldn't of had to worry about the various alternate personalities of Clementine.
I still really like Clementine's character to be honest. Yeah, she doesn't really feel like she fully belongs in a new frontier, but she's s… moretill my favorite character nonetheless. And I'd still be pretty crushed if she died. I guess maybe I'm in the minority here, but I still enjoyed her presence in this season.
The only bullshit thing that she did that didn't make any sense in my opinion was accidentally murdering the guy in episode 1. Her motherly instincts have turned her into a different girl, and I find that to be okay. Underneath her cold exterior, she's still the same girl we all know and love with a heart of gold. If she wasn't in this season idk how I'd even be able to finish it, it's that bad. And I'm still holding out hope that they can get the series back on track after this season. I liked season 1 and 2.
It is also the fact you don't understand your Clem can't be sweet and soft anymore. To survive on her own in the wilderness she grew cold and had to do bad stuff like robbing peoples to survive. Like people will rob her when they got the chance. She lost everything she loved, and the toddler Aj was like her own som she lost too.
As Javier you have to deal with this Clementine, wich is very interesting.
From sweetpie to savage girl.
When we control Clem again who feels safe and settled in Javi's furure community(yes he will be a leader) she will have the luxury again to make her whatever you want her to be like season 2.

Tbh, I'm only playing episode 5 for two reasons:
* Clem reuniting with AJ.
* If Telltale actually goes through with Gabentine.
Other than that, nothing else really grabs my attention.
Lol
This is Clem in episode 3, when she tried to stop Javi from opening the door for David.
And the episode 5 scene with Javi, David and Gabe is just a non canon dead like we see in all episodes.
I know! I am quite talented aren't I! I don't even know what the term is for those things let alone how to do them! Oh! And as you can see all of my posts are posted and then 10 minutes later after editing them 12 times they are still very bad grammar, spelling, and poncuation wise!
Lol

That may take some time because for some stupid reason it must be aprovoved so I will use letters instead of japanese characters.

Fair point but I just don't see how being negative about it is going to fix or change any of that.
Okay so it's a matter of bad writing it's a matter of telltale not letting the choices matter
The choices always matter this way: emotional gaming experience. Most choices are about dialogue.
not a matter*

Same
LEAKED FOOTAGE FROM EPISODE 5!!!
Possibly about the weird 'relationship' between Tripp and Eleanor. By relationship I mean she said no and he won't leave her alone, of course.
EDIT: Double.

They weren't lying it is the best episode yet!
You can see the Garcia's are outside on the gallows area, and Clem is inside the warehouse of episode 3 lol.
Very fake.
Honestly, I would've thought she let him get capture because of that if she wasn't so nice.
Wow, what a fargone bitch!

Nací en Puerto Rico y viví allí hasta los doce años, así que por supuesto hablaba español.
その後、私の父は日本で仕事をしていましたので、私が17歳になるまでそこに住んでいた日本人を学びました。
Then my family moved to the United States, and I will likely spend the rest of my life or at least the majority here.
What? Don't you understand three different languages?
Oh I must be in the wrong place I didn't know this was a forum about languages.
Y esto es lo que hace que el aprendizaje de tres idiomas vale la pena todo el dolor de cabeza de aprenderlos.
Hitobito o konran sa seru no wa totemo tanoshīkotodesu.
Would you like a translation?
Here you go:
Comment 1:
Spanish: I was born in Puerto Rico and lived there until I was 12 so of course I spoke spanish.
Japanese: My father then got a job in Japan so I was forced to learn Japanese. We lived there until I was 17
English: We then moved to the USA so I obviously learned english and have lived here ever since.
Comment 2:
Spanish: And this is what makes the headaces from learning 3 languages worth it
Japanese: It is so much fun messig with people
The reason I wrote the first comment was to prove my knowledge of 3 languages. The second one was just to mess with you.
I wasn't taking about you, I was talking about myself and it was a joke.
I'm just joking, everything has been a joke, I just had fun with google translate and it was so worth it, I am a native english speaker and do not know any other language.

I know..
I meant I speak 3 languages too, and English isn't my strongest one
