  • I have never seen people getting LESS excited for TWD than ever before it used to be a 100 pages but not anymore

  • Yeah, exactly, no attachment. I kinda want to know how all of this ends, since, well, I did play episodes 1-4, but I feel like I would be no more than "oh, okay" with literally any ending ANF throws at me. Kate survives? Oh, okay. She doesn't? Oh, okay. Joanna finally gets what she deserves? Oh, okay. She gets away? Works for me too. Clem finds AJ? Oh, cool. AJ didn't make it? Well, that sucks but okay. Everybody dies? Oh, okay.

I mean, remember how episode 4 of season two ends? We only saw Rebecca turn and heard gunshots, and we had no idea what happened and if anyone actually got shot. That was crazy. And more than that, we knew Clem was to make a very important choice that defines her, even though we didn't really know what this choice is, but we knew it means everything, it's what my Clementine is gonna be. Everything in the previous four episodes was about it - not about Carter or Rebecca&AJ or Russians or Luke and Kenny fighting. It all led to this final choice, and yet we didn't have the slightest idea where it's taking us.
Maybe I just don't get it, but ANF was nothing but a family drama with guest-starring Clem for me. It's not a bad family drama, it actually proposes some interesting questions and dilemmas, but still, they are kind of detached, there isn't The Final Choice. If I had to make a guess, it's probably some sort of Kate/David thing again. If it's not, and there is a bigger point ANF is trying to make, it does a good job of saving it for the finale. Doesn't help me feel more anticipated though.
I just really hope this season will make more sense as a story once it's fully released.

Or maybe I'm just getting old, lolol

I'm thinking episode five's gonna release on the 30th, because a 16th release is looking unlikely. A 23rd release would be nice though.

  • Ooh, and the trailer goes
"THE FINAL EPISODE IS COMING OUT...

    Saoralba131 posted: »

I agree a nice little tease would be good. They could play it bold though...release the key art and trailer on the 23rd, but the episode on the 16th! Right out of left field!

Really looking forward to episode 5. Although I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. Here's hoping it's a good one and will make me want another season.

  • You all probably read it too many times by now.. but there simply is no excitement for the finale.. even though I really like Javi, Kate, Clem and AJ. Meh.

  • The writing is bad in general especially with how the characters are written not to mention the sub stories they insist on.

Out of what? That fans play things they don't like, or that telltale are bad writers to some people?

As long as Clem doesn't become a determinant character, I'm good.

  • There's nothing to be excited about not to mention we have no clue what EP5 is suppose to be about.

  • Same. I have a feeling that won't happen, but if it did, I would have to save her. She's my favourite from the series that's left and I would hate to see her go after everything.

Would really like a slightly happier ending than we've gotten before, even if the episode is emotional/depressing, but the very end could be slightly more optimistic/happy.

  • I feel that this whole season there wasn't a main driving force. I think this is inherent one of the weakness of the Walking Dead. There is really no other main goal except survival.

This is quite important, since having a focus gives us reasons to care.

Honestly I'm really relying on the finale to reveal her last name and father so if it doesn't happen I'll be immensely disappointed.

  • If Clementine dies in this season, this will easily be one of the worst video game I've ever played in my life. I'm not being a fanboy here, I'm saying this because it's not fair for Clementine to die in a season with a lot of bad writtings and directions. I wouldn't have minded it if her death is well-written. This season won't make it any good cause it uses Clementine as a bait for the old TWD players.

  • Especially dying in a season that isn't even devoted to her. A fucking major/main character that outlived 2 3/4 seasons dying off as a side character? No way can they do that.

  • They pretty much need to do a Lee if it would be considered acceptable, to hint/foreshadow at it on the penultimate episode for a little lead up towards it at least.

  • At this point not even a Lee-way-out for Clem would be acceptable, since most can't even connect with AJ. And AJ wouldn't be able to react like a Clementine from way back then. It just can't happen this season.

  • I know I should have phrased it better I meant how we knew that Lee was bitten before Ep5 for example.

You already paid full for the game, and yet still doesn't know if it's gonna be good or not XD

  • Killing off Clementine is probably the only possible ending of ANF that will affect me in more than "oh, okay" way, and it's not thanks to season three, but the previous seasons. This is why it would be the worst idea ever. It's like cheating to get an emotional ending of the season.

  • The fact itself is not necessarily bad. I believe we didn't have much idea of what episode five of season two was to be about before it came out, other than we are probably still headed to Wellington at some point, but right now we have no supplies and also newborn AJ on our hands, and we can't deal with any of those before we figure out the Russians.
Still, the anticipation now and back then is just on so different levels.
