I'm definitely in the minority here. But seriously if I could build a bridge of tears from everyone's collective moaning and bitching about how Clem isn't the main protagonist we'd be able to walk from San Fran to Hong Kong.
Is Javi really all that bad? Clementine is also a protagonist in this story, like it or not that she's not playable 100% of the time, this story will always flow through Clem as long as she's alive.

I obviously love Clem like everyone else I just think it was smart to put Javi as the main guy and Clem as number 2 for the season. Tales from the Borderlands had huge success rotating Fiona and Ryhs as playable characters I don't see why Walking Dead couldn't do it as well.
Off topic but favorite flashback was BY FAR the NF winter camp where you have to chose to inject AJ with medicine or listen to Pillhead Lingaard. Telltale really knows how to pull the "feel" strings for sure.
Nah fam, you don't get it. I'm not against your opinion.
are you sober yet, fam?
I said that because when I saw your comment, it only read "This comment thread gives me cancer. Walking Dead Season 2 was a pile of garbage." while you posted it in S3 dedicated forum and thread. Soooo I thought that you were drunk and couldn't find your way here aka getting lost in the way XD
But when I refreshed this page, and you already edited your full comment. So my bad.
Is Javi really all that bad?
For me he is alright, not too good but not too bad either.
But seriously if I could build a bridge of tears from everyone's collective moaning and bitching about how Clem isn't the main protagonist we'd be able to walk from San Fran to Hong Kong.

How the fuck...
Javi gets 95% of the screentime, Clem gets 5%... no. I refuse to accept this and I will not accept this. Call me a Clem fanboy if you want, but fuck no I don't accept this. Clem doesn't even contribute much to the story. Replace her, or hell, REMOVE her and absolutely nothing (or VERY little) will change.

I just think him going away just like that would be weird and he did not really have any scenes, he was pretty much useless and I think he might actually come back and save someone (Javi maybe?). I dont know, I just think he will.
Is Javi really all that bad?
Yes.
Clementine is also a protagonist in this story, like it or not that she's not playable 100% … moreof the time, this story will always flow through Clem as long as she's alive.

Clem doesn't contribute to much of the story? She was once a member of the New Frontier and the flashback scene I was talking about was a crucial part in David's character building.
5% for Clem really? How many choices is Clem involved in this season? It's up to like 4-5 already I think she's heavily involved in her own story, Javi's and the NF story. This is what I'm talking about you're always going to have people that don't know what they're talking about just spewing bullshit. The flashbacks like them or not are important to understand Clem's continuous character development.
You're always gonna have Official Monkey and the other Gibroni on the earlier page THIS IS GOING TO BE THE WORST VIDEOGAME EVER IF THEY KILL CLEM, lollll. Please go keep playing Season 2 and telling us it's better than ANF

Yes.

In my opinion, Season 2 was far from being a pile of garbage. People die? Of course they do it's an apocalypse out there but it's all forging the character of Clementine who is the main protagonist of the whole franchise and not Javi. Is he bad? Maybe no, but he's much much worse than Clementine. Following your logic, Season 1 was also meaningless as most of characters are dead by now; Lee, Omid, Christa disappears in S2E01, Carley/Doug, Kenny's family, etc etc...
I thought Howe's would've been a perfect place to slow the story down for a couple episodes
With 5 episodes by season it isn't easy if you want the story to continue
The laziness in ANF's writing made Season 2 look bad now, as Telltale acts like they forgot S2 ever existed. Let's kill the remaining characters in the first episode and let's give 10% of screentime to Clem so we can attract TWDG fans.
(NGL tho,if they delayed it technically I wasn't wrong about my initial prediction because when I made it, the episode was going to release the 16th but it only got postponed.)
It's coming to a conclusion that if we do not get a tweet saying "Stay watching this space for the final episode of #TWD A New Frontier!" in… more the next day then 30th is confirmed.
It'll give them time to put out picture art on Wednesday and trailer on Thursday ready for the 23rd.. but it is roughly 7am where they are now (I'm in the UK).. so I'll give them until the end of today to say something about it.
Keep the faith.
#DontLookBack
Season 1 had Lee who I think is still my favorite character in all of Walking Dead's universes. Season 1's main characters are also still brought along in Season 2 with Lee flashbacks and Kenny of course.
Watching Kenny's development from Season 1 to Season 2 was probably my favorite part because he completely goes off the deep end. But Season 1 atleast had a plot in finding Clem's family.
Season 2 is all over the place I think yes Clem is trying to find her way but Carver was just the biggest flop of a villain ever. I thought he was kind of badass but they kill him off very next episode.
My logic isn't that everyone died so it's a bad season. Who are the memorable characters in Season 2? What importance do they have on Clem going forward? As yourself those questions and I don't really think anyone Clem meets that's new besides Jane has any importance to her and we all see how that ends.

Most Clem fanboys are just braindead, so you can't really expect much from them in the first place... They'll love anything as long as Clementine is the only focus. Hell, I bet that if TTG made a season where Clementine was the only playable character and every other npc was a Clem clone, people would be crazy about it and they would be singing its praises for the rest of their lives.
While that date may have been unofficially posted that it is actually the more likely release date since telltale likes to release ANF at the very end of the month.
I swear to Christ if this episode gets leaked... It's the finale too so bigger spoilers are going to be around. As soon as I hear there has been leaks, I am giving up on social media until the episode is released.
I think if EVERYONE could edit a wiki, just like that, there would be a bunch of dicks in the episode descriptions and stuff. As well as a few messed up comments.
Just because you like something doesn't mean its not garbage. Hey, I like some pretty crappy things myself.
But by every metric this game is an absolute failure. No amount of name calling makes this game in any way less trite, and boring. It doesnt make most of the dialogue any less cringe inducing. It doesn't make the characters any less flat and uninspired. At the end of the day this season sucked, it has been mismanaged and poorly concieved since the begining.
If you like it, than more power to you. But the game sucks, it will srand the test of time as an absolute failure by telltale.
I'd play ANF three times over before I went back to Season 2 to listen to "YOU NEED TO BE NICE TO SARAH", save the bitch, then watch her inevitably die. But I get it ANF is just terrible you guys, lollllllll

Hey I didnt like season 2 or Sarah. But that doesn't change the fact that anf is exceptionally bad. No anount of pointing out the flaws of season 2 changes anything about the flaws of anf.

Nah, the PEGI ratings just aren't included/talked about in release date threads.
Not entirely true - it just depends on timing. Before we get major updates like screenshots, trailers, release dates, or key art, we tend to focus on smaller updates, like "Job tweets: Blah blah blah". That sometimes does include PEGI ratings, it just depends.
Once we reach the point of being close enough to the release date, we stop focusing on smaller updates because we're close enough to the episode where nobody would really care. For example, I think ESRB typically is the last rating board to approve an episode or something like that, which is why we don't often post about ESRB ratings here.
Nah, the PEGI ratings just aren't included/talked about in release date threads. The AU and NZ ratings are the main ones to look out for when waiting for a release date.

Sooo, do we still believe in May 16th release?
(It's time for the 23rd hype)
The walking dead wiki says that the From The Gallows release date is May 30.

Please don't trust the wiki as basically everyone can edit the informations.

it hasn't been confirmed and the 23rd is an ideal speculation considering that the episode has been classified for nearly three weeks.
