Yup, multiple endings are good at first, when the finale just comes out. They get the fans all hyped because "the choices matter this time!" When the sequel is out, that's where the endings turn out to be shit. I don't like the way they did it in ANF, doesn't mean the game sucks but they really screwed up that segment of storytelling. I don't doubt GoT would get the same treatment.
When it comes to a GoT sequel, I think it is coming, but not in the near future. When ep6 came out, the first thing they said on Twitter is that a sequel is definitely coming. I don't think they would just cancel it after hyping the fans that much. They could (most likely will) cancel it but I'm probably just in denial because I love that game a lot.
I wish they would just do a TWAU or GoT season 2 instead of goddamn Minecraft. Do people even play the original Minecraft anymore? Last time I've heard of that game was back in 2015 or something...
To be honest, I think Batman was very good, probably the best of the 2016 group, as for Game of Thrones, I don't think I want another season… more to be honest, it's the game that truly shows they can make important characters that are also determinant live to the very end, it actually made me feel like my choices mattered and a surprising amount of variety based on choices throughout (mostly later on though), but I think it suffers from the same thing TWDGS2 did - multiple outcomes, so Telltale will likely butcher the endings of GoT like they did ANF, and it's possible that Season Two is getting a silent cancellation, almost two years since GoTS1 finished and the last bit of news was back in May 2016 I believe and it looks like they've decided to focus on Minecraft: Story Mode again although, to be honest, the later episodes of that were pretty decent.
Well, I've heard that if you're genuinely interested in coding that it can be really easy and I am really interested. I will listen to your … moreadvice and I'll start as soon as this semester ends in a few days.
I added you on Steam just now, I'm LE in csgo but we can play some casual from time to time if you want.
Hi, I'm Jacob, but you can call me Jake. I have a disorder called Asperger's syndrome. I'm 16 years old and I live in, and was born and raised in North Carolina.
My gaming platforms are PC and PS4. Right now, I'm currently binge-watching the TV shows Avatar TLA and Legend of Korra. Recently, I just finished writing my ever first fan-fiction. My three best friends on this forum are @AronDracula, @ClemyClooAndBabyboo and @DillonDex. Some honorable mentions would be @lupinb0y, @MetallicaRules and @RichWalk23.
I have 2 brothers named Charlie and Logan and a sister named Caroline. I'm the oldest offspring of my mother. When I was 3, my (asshole) father left me and my mother after my other brother, Josh, died. Spider-Man is my number one favorite superhero (a close second would be Batman). My top 3 favorite video games of all time are The Walking Dead: Season One, The Last of Us and Until Dawn. I (please don't torture me) am a Trump supporter.
I was first introduced to Telltale by my cousin Isaac when I saw him playing TWD S1. I then bought the game for myself, loved it and I've been a Telltale fan ever since.
My number one favorite TV show is Breaking Bad. My number one favorite movie is Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.

My number one favorite TV show is Breaking Bad.
Finally someone who considers Breaking Bad his #1 TV show as well! I re-watched that damn show 4 times by now.
hi, i'm noah. i'm 17 years old and have been deemed mentally unfit to drive by the state i live in. i'm an existential nihilist and i think … moreall life is pointless. i also enjoy video games (particularly dark souls), writing, drawing, editing and cartoons i guess. i operate on four hours of sleep daily. also TheAutisticGamer, joshua007, Tobi-Is-A-Good-Boy, Acheive250, Megumin and lupinb0y are actually the best people on this site and i'll fist fight anyone who says otherwise. granted i'll lose but i'll still fight y'all.

Yeah, it's a great show and I love rewatching a lot as well, but what do you mean "finally"? That show, if I recall correctly, won, like, 110 awards
I think the main reason they can't do TWAU Season 2 has to do with the comics being over and Vertigo not wanting to negotiate? But there's always possibilities! I'm hoping that if they do a Game of Thrones Season 2, they'll at least make the main character fates have an effect and let the determinants survive through the whole season, because if not, it kind of makes the previous season pointless if everything begins and ends the same way regardless of our Season 1 choices.
As for Minecraft: Story Mode, I don't think it's too bad, but at the same time I definitely think it's TTG's worst game series thus far, I thought they were finished with it after having a total of 8 episodes but I guess since it might be easy to make a game with animated blocks, they can easily profit from it more even with less sales I guess.

I get that it's for all audiences and that it could be easy to make but c'mon, there are other series they haven't ended yet... TWAU, GoT, TFTB, TWD S4... They might not be a cash cow like Minecraft is, but they would at least keep the fans happy.

To be honest, I'm not sure if Minecraft: Story Mode sold as well as the others, due to the sheer amount of hatred towards it as well as confusion partly due to the fact that it doesn't play like actual Minecraft, but I suppose it may be significantly cheaper to create thus making it overall more profitable? Also they've still got that 'Super Show' they announced around 2015/16 that we haven't heard about in a while.
I hope they aren't favoring newer IPs over older ones.

If that's true and it hasn't sold that many copies, why would they make another bloody season of it?
I just don't get it.
Also, I completely forgot about the 'Super Show' thing they announced. I still don't know what that's supposed to be about or how it's supposed to be played. You got any info about that?

Although it hasn't shown to have sold significantly higher than the other games, it could be due to how easy they are to make (they were released monthly after all), so it costs allot less to make than their other games but the price tag is still the same as their newer games and since they have 8 episodes and two season passes, it could've been far more profitable for them. Although some people have theorized that Minecraft is like their test dummy where they try new mechanics and stuff - Episode 2 was vastly different depending on your final choice in Episode 1 for example but it did lack in episode length.
Sadly I have no information regarding the Super Show, I think it stopped getting news along with Game of Thrones, but I hope they're not trying to get us to forget about those by not speaking of them so they can quietly get rid of them. It makes me wonder though, now it's Guardians of the Galaxy running along Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2, so what game is next once GotG is done with? We could hear a new announcement at E3 I suppose?

Yeah, I think we're definitely getting something at E3. I sure hope it's another season of GoT or TFTB. If it's some new project again, I'm so done with them. After all the shit they've done so far they really need to step up with their game quality, instead of throwing a bunch of games at us at the same time.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's a new project though. After seeing how profitable MCSM was for them, I wouldn't be surprised if they made a Roblox game next. Imagine, 'Roblox: A Quest for the Inappropriate Place'.

Oh gosh! Don't give them any ideas! Now I'm kinda worried they might be thinking of announcing a Minecraft: Story Mode prequel or spin-off alongside a Season 2. I'm really hoping they give us a Season 2 of Game of Thrones though, if not, at least a DLC for A New Frontier.
Heck, I wouldn't mind if we got a DLC or an announcement for Season 2 of Batman, I personally enjoy it for its story, the consequences of choices weren't big but they had enough impact to make the game feel different each episode, plus no determinant character deaths but instead a focus on dynamic relationships which made me enjoy it without having any real criticisms for the game, and it had a really good villain too.
Honestly, I feel like every other IP is now better than the prestigious The Walking Dead Series that gave Telltale their fame, which just makes me wish they would treat it better and account for what the fans want rather than making it a cash cow. Worst part overall is how all the information we got at the end of last year and earlier this year were almost all false and scrapped from the actual game or were just blatant lies

I still haven't played the Batman game so, sorry about not getting most of the stuff you mentioned. I'm not really into that universe and I haven't seen any Batman movies yet. I'm probably gonna binge watch all those Batman movies and play the game this summer.
I really hope that GoT comes back.
Even if they did a similar thing to TWD where they kill off the determinant characters like Kenny or Jane/ Asher or Rodrik I would forgive them because I really love the Forrester storyline.
Of course, I wouldn't like it but I'd get over it just like I did in ANF.

Fair warning though, the Telltale version of Batman is very different to the usual depictions of him (at least his frame) but I personally like the modifications and twists done to characters.
Part of me hopes for Game of Thrones to return, another part of me doesn't since I don't want all our choices to be invalidated. I mean, people say that the Season 2 Endings were varied? Game of Thrones has the most determinant characters and two of them are big, not to mention there are multiple details about each character that changes - such as their relationships and destinations, so I feel like it would be far harder to make those choices have an effect for telltale if they can barely make the 4 main endings of Season 2 have an effect on ANF.
Personally I wouldn't stand for it, I've been a supporter of Telltale since they release the first TWD game and I've always defended them in arguments, but now, I'm sick of the way they treat games and characters, I mean, Season 2 and ANF barely have any developed characters for two, but worst of all, in my opinion, if you make an important character determinant, they should be able to live or have a big moment, otherwise what was the point? But yeah, I don't mind if they invalidated everything else apart from one aspect of each character's ending if that means we at least have the characters we chose to save and if they have to kill determinants, then I hope they do it in a way that's good for the character, not a horse carriage crash or being hung and flayed by Ramsay.

I completely agree with you, but I think they learned from their mistakes with Kenny and Jane. They probably won't have Rodrik getting flayed by Boltons or Asher falling off a tree and breaking his neck. If they die (let's face it, they definitely will) it will be a good, big and emotional death.
I think that if there is a 2nd season, we'll be playing as Rodrik/Asher in the first episode until they're killed off, and then we get to play as Ryon, Gared, Talia and the Bastards of Lord Gregor (I forgot their names, it's been a while). They could really make the story interesting, they just have to use a bit of imagination and they need to stop making new, shitty games.

Let's hope so, although they still treated Ava rather poorly in the end despite how great a determinant Conrad became, so I'm not entirely sure, it's just odd for them to have learned from the backlash but then have a character they just toss away (which was one of the basis of the backlash).
I think the names were Elsera and Josera, or along that line. Considering the Lord of House Forrestor is injured, they could really just have them unconscious for the majority of the season as we play as Talia and they could have an ending where they might live (if Mira or someone lived) or they may die and Ryon takes the throne. Honestly, there are allot of ways they could deal with the determinants but I do think it's better to have an emotional farewell as opposed to having them be present without really having any part in the story.

For real, though, my name's Mario ("It's a me, Mario!"), I'm 15 and I'm from Greece. I mainly spend my time watching anime,… more listening to music (mainly jazz, cause goddamn, isn't it good), reading manga, playing games and being on social media. Sometimes, I sing to kill time, I guess.
My favorite game is Fallout: New Vegas while my favorite Telltale game is Game of Thrones. I also have been introduced into Telltale games in 2013 through the first season of The Walking Dead, which was also the first game that made me care about its story and also the first game that made me cry.
Oh, did I ever say that I also spend my time listening to game soundtrack, especially to the soundtrack of the NieR franchise? And how much I love it?
Yeah, I'm not really good at talking about myself.
Exactly, an emotional end to their stories is way better than them just hanging around in the background, being irrelevant. That's what Kenny's death was supposed to be, but they didn't really think it trough. It was too cliche and meaningless.
When it comes to Ava/Tripp, they really were handled poorly. Ava was treated a bit worse than Tripp. She just falls off and everyone's like "Bye Ava." and they simply go on with their day. Tripp at least gets a few more lines and goes down fighting. Overall, maybe having Tripp/Ava around for the rest of the game instead of Conrad would've been a better option.

My name is Laureen! I don't know if this is the right thread, but I'm just gonna give it a go:
I’m looking for participants in a survey about online gaming communities! During my research I found out that nothing comes for free, so I will be giving away FREE GAMES to a number of participants (yay), which I will be chosen at random of course.
The research is about how to create active videogame communities around various game genres. Your answers are completely anonymous and will only be used for this research!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME TO HELP ME.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask!!!
(If this is in any way seen as spam or as an inappropriate message I’d be happy to delete it!)
Alright then...
My name is Kim, I'm a 15 years old girl and will be 16 in August. I'm born and raised in Germany, just ended school a few weeks ago and I'm going to go to a what we call Berufskolleg (That's two more years of school, focused on one profession. You can't compare it to collage though). I like rock music, but also other kind of music. My favorite bands are Nickelback, Three Days Grace (That's part of where my name comes from), Thousand Foot Crutch, The Pretty Reckless and some others. I'm gay and went through a veeeery uncomfortable way to find out. I outed myself last year and everybody I told it yet was absolutely fine with it (Lucky me). My plan is to become something in the police direction (But I'm not sure for example if I should become a normal police officer or a detective...) My hobbies are drawing, writing stories, reading, playing games and going to the gym. I came to Telltale over a let's play from The Walking Dead Season 1, which I bought after watching It. Part of my favorite games are The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Dragon Age, Skyrim, Overwatch, Dying Light and almost every ttg game. I have a bigger brother who is 18 years old, my parents are divorced and I have a stepmother I wish dead. That's all I guess.
My name is Elliott. I'm 19 and I'm from Tennessee.
My default emotion is existential terror, please help me.
I'm currently at that point in my life where I just have absolutely no clue what the fuck I'm doing/what I want to do with my life so I'm just winging the shit out of everything right now. Just a whole lot of doubt and questioning but I'm pulling through. Uhm, lets see...
Favorite non-TellTale games: Gears of War(s), Classic Call of Duty, Far Cry, Skyrim, Fallout, GTA, Star Wars Battlefront I and II just to name a few.
TellTale favorites: The Walking Dead Seasons 1 and 2, Tales from The Borderlands, The Wolf Among Us, and Game of Thrones. I felt that TWD Season 1 magic in 2012 when it was first coming out, but I didn't join the forums until March 2016. My class really sucked so I got bored, made an account, and now here we are one year later. My teacher being shit at their job indirectly landed me here.
Music: Pink Floyd's The Wall is my all time favorite album, but I can roll with just about anything. As long as its not modern country. Classic rock is my favorite genre of music, though.
I have a huge hard-on for JFK and I like discussing the conspiracy theory of his death. Or the history of presidents in general. Politics can get ugly but I like a nice, civilized discussion over them.
I'm really not that hard to get along with and I'm a pretty chill guy for the most part. I make everything a joke cause my life is a joke lul

I'm Cole. I'm 17; born and raised in midwestern USA. I have a sting passion for helping others. I'm gay and I'm proud #pridemonth
I love long car rides going anywhere the road takes me.
I have lots of changes coming my way, and I'm very excited.
I also have an obsession for yoga; just gonna throw that out there.
The audio from here could be used as a trailer:
Yessss! I love jazz, i play alto saxophone and want to study it at Uni next year. I'm 17 and live in Australia, Adelaide. Clemmy cloo is my fav :P
Nope, none at all actually XD

I’m looking for participants in a survey about online gaming communities! During my research I found out that nothing comes for free, so I will be giving away FREE GAMES to a number of participants (yay), which I will be chosen at random of course.
Fill out the survey by clicking on the link below:

That's all I guess.
sadly
Alright this thread made me feel like shit because of all the people here who have sad stories and disabilities.
Fuck y'all for making me cry.
Hey wanna join my discord server
I make everything a joke cause my life is a joke lul
dude yeah I think I already joined one of your discord servers but nobody talks in there i think im not sure hahaha
I would be more alive if everyone @ me in every post they make but they dont
