  • Did she? That explanation is another one of those times where it makes my eyes glaze over. what did the NF even do during all that? They were supposed to capture them in older story drafts, right? So the scene doesn't make sense as is, they just left them?

I've been trying to figure that out myself. Presumably, Max was going about his own business while Badger went to round up his personal crew to stake out the junkyard.
As for just leaving them, Lonnie was originally supposed to die there(which is what I thought happened back when the episodes first released) and thus wouldn't have had the chance to tell them about the other three.

Supposed to be a cousin, anything, my fucking ass. She could be a fucking neighbor girl for all I care.
Point is, they lived together in a cramped van for over two years. You're getting CLOSE whether you like it or not. But her death is like "eh, that's sad. oh well."

Agreed. And the fact that they went out of their way to preemptively retcon her into being a direct family member just makes her actual relevance all the more confounding.

  • Yeah, I think they messed up big time here.
Hector and yaya disapear just like that. I wish we had at least some flashback with their death.
Even better, see Hector and Mariana continue the story.
Make a determinant choice for Javi to save either Gabe or Mariana.

no kidding. nobody cared about poor hector, so they barely cared about his daughter.

Little-known fact about me: I am the living embodiment of "too forgiving"

You're being too forgiving. It's a real messy scene.

  • Oh my god , you are so right about the ships. There is Warren x Nathan and Jefferson x Nathan , i want to throw up

(To take a break from the "Bonnie Dies" meme, I'm going to write some obvious shit that only I find interesting but it's actually true) S

  • I know. Like I say, there are only two, maybe three (Max and Kate, Joyce and William, and maybe Nathan and Victoria) "sane" ships.

  • When you realize that there are people who non-ironically ship Frodo and Gandalf from LotR, is when you lose faith in humanity. I don't know if it can get any worse than that lmao.

  • Oh, boy. You haven't seen the Lee x Clementine shippers have you?

  • Whooooooooooooa... I sure as shit haven't, and I don't want to.

  • She doesn't argue against kicking Clem out of The New Frontier for using medicine on her dying child; I get it, they had rules, and that could be a legit defense if their fucking doctor wasn't using those same drugs to get fucking high.

Clem: Kicked out for trying to use the drugs for a good reason (to save a life); Ava agrees with the decision.

Dr. Lingard: Is allowed to stay in the group even after he uses their drugs to get high (a waste that could have saved a life); Ava agrees with the decision.

Ava and the entire group are delusional.

How exactly is Ava delusional there?

  • Episode 3, "Above The Law."

Javier, Clementine, Jesus and Tripp—and determinantly Conrad—are holed up in a factory David sent them to, surrounded by walkers, when David bangs the door, pleading to be let in. Javi reacts and heads to the door. Clementine, reluctant and torn, fires in his direction, warning that he can't open. Tripp intends to talk her down but she cuts him off. Jesus tells her that David will die; she says that he deserves worse.

Javier can choose to let David in or back away.

    clem
    jesus
    choice

Let David in + Shoot Conrad:

Javier will tell Clem that David has a son like she used to do. Seeing that she will not stand down, Jesus snatches her handgun, catching her off-guard, and shouts at Javi to open. Javier opens the door.

David hasn't heard anything of Clementine ever since he sent Ava to talk to her—unless Max revealed earlier that day that Clem took down Rufus's truck. Either way, baffled, David will ask Clementine what the hell she's doing with Javi's group. She will tell him to ask his brother.

    let + shoot

Let David in + Accept Conrad's plan:

Javier will tell Clem that David has a son like she used to do. Seeing that she will not stand down, Jesus snatches her handgun, catching her off-guard, and shouts at Javi to open. Javier opens the door.

David and Clementine exchanged glares earlier that day when he went to fetch Javier from quarantine at Richmond. Sarcastic, he will greet Clem, and ask her how she got caught up with Javi's group. She will tell him to ask his brother.

    let + accept

    Back away + Trust Jesus:

Javier will step away from the door. Clementine, pleased, lowers her handgun. Jesus will then spring to the door and open it, saving David's life.

Javier trusted Jesus earlier that day after he told them the New Frontier had merged with Richmond, convincing the rest of the group against binding his hands. Jesus shakes his head at Javi, remarking he thought he was a good man.

Clem then tackles David and holds a gun to his head, questioning him about Alvie.

    back + trust

Back away + Tie Jesus up:

Javier will step away from the door. Clementine, pleased, lowers her handgun. Jesus will then spring to the door and open it, saving David's life.

Javier agreed with Conrad earlier that day to bind Jesus's hands, telling him that it's better safe than sorry. Jesus shakes his head, remarking he should've trusted his gut.

Clem then tackles David and holds a gun to his head, questioning him about Alvie.

    back + tie

  • Yeah, seriously.

He looks more intimidating IRL than he does in the game.

  • Did they ever clarify that that's what he was using? I mean, I get that logic--I thought that was why it was low at first-- but nothing really draws attention to it despite the chance to do so presenting itself.

Either way, we've been over this--its pragmatic nepotism. Lingard is their only medic and one of their [future] leaders die to his loyalty, while Clementine is just some young newbie who went behind their backs to determinately give AJ that last bit of medicine despite being told it wouldn't help. And that's ignoring the fact that Lingard wouldn't have said anything and tried to get another chance or that Ava is the reason she was there to begin with and also put herself at risk.

David was being too harsh, no doubt about that, but it was their rules and his call at the end of the night. Ava mainly went along because of that and because she knew letting her take AJ in his condition could mean a death sentence for both.

  • Yeah, the comic quality has been dropping recently.

  • Maybe it's time for Kirkman to give up the writing of the story, getting only the basic plot. A good choice would be Alan Moore.

  • Why do the fucking sjw have to ruin absolutely everything.

Stay away from GoT and TLOU, thank you.

  • Social Justice Warrior. I think it's essentially a fancy term for feminist.

    What is sjw ?

  • "Social Justice Warrior". Basically a derogatory term for radical feminists or radical LGBT supporters with a usually liberal social and political leaning.

    What is sjw ?

  • edited June 2017

Well like, all you're going off is that she has a pink coat and seemingly blue hair, which doesn't really mean she's an "SJW" pandering character. She could be that, but it's a little premature to say that.

  • It has to do with sjw ruining twd and me not wanting it to ruin other things, I thought that was pretty obvious.

  • You see woman wearing fluffy pink coat, goggles, huge unrealistic hair and holding a huge machine gun on the cover for a ZOMBIE story, with the words "FEAR THE PRINCESS" and it's premature to say this is all wacky and screaming sjw? Takes simple observational skills to see what's going on here. Look, I'm all for woman's rights and woman getting equal this and that and badass woman in stories, I get it, that's great. But this is overboard. Especially for zombie story that strives for realism. This isn't Shaun of the dead where they joke around about everything.

  • It's a term to ridiculize people that actually care about social issues instead of being "eh who cares i'm fine so i don't care if kids starve to death because i have money"

    What is sjw ?
