Does Waller always find out?

Does Waller always find out that Batman is Bruce Wayne?

  • Yes, she does.

  • Telltale should make it a twist, "she doesn't know "
    :D

  • I have got a funny feeling that Avesta and Blake put some listening device in Bruce's office. When Lucius called Bruce Batman, she realized that. But that theory might be invalid because when you go to Eli and if you mention that Gordon talked about Lucius or not, she will be surprised. I am not sure how she actually realized. Maybe she used her head and eventually realized that only Bruce could have the devices and technology that Batman has. Somebody had to find out sooner or later, tho.

  • I was thinking something like this too actually, seemed like the only way she could actually find out. Or maybe, just maybe someone could have leaked Bruce's identity? Perhaps Selina? I donno.

  • You guys should know that it's common for Amanda Waller to know that Batman is Bruce Wayne. Don't believe me, then read the comics, watch Justice League Unlimited, and watch the Suicide Squad movie.

  • Most likely Waller somehow acquired the footage of Lucius' death. I'm not sure how she could have put it together otherwise.

  • Nah, I dont think this is about Selina and I dont think anyone leaked his identity either.

  • Alternative major twist could be that Tiffany has been secretly recruited by the Agency, maybe her camera had a secret usage?

  • Why would she secretly worked with Agency to sold his father's company out ? Didnt make sense for me.

Waller might realized this after Lucius's death. Explosion in the Wayne Enterprises might get lighten somethings.

  • That'd be hilarious. Like Batman takes off his mask in front of her and she's like, "Shit. You were actually Bruce Wayne? Fuck, man. I was just messing with you."

  • Doesn't she know his secret identity in like every version of the Batman mythos.

  • I don't think that's important.

  • That's why Telltale should make the twist where she didn't know. :)

  • After a long time complaining to both Bruce and Bat's choices as separate people many times.

My bet is when Batman told Avesta that he is drawn to the criminal insane. And Bruce is like at the center like a spider web.

  • seems kinda weird more people haven't figured it out. Telltale's Batman does a pretty bad job of keeping his cover.

    1. The Catwoman scratch.
    2. Bruce showing up late just after Batman stops a robbery
    3. Batman just happening to vanish while Bruce is in Arkham Asylum
    4. Batman and Bruce both being able to call Oswald a "pawn"
    5. Batman's gadgets and Bruce Wayne being the CEO of Wayne Tech

Just a few examples off the top of my head

  • It is just never the focus. She just knows. It is kinda implied that she is just really good at her job.

  • It is really because this is a completely absurd conclusion to make for someone in-universe. It is not too uncommon for people to get to the conclusion that they have a connection, but they don't think that some playboy would risk his neck like that when they can just sit in their mansion burning their family's money all day every day. The connection that is often made is that Batman is paid by Bruce Wayne, not that they are the same person.

  • I don't read comics much but I'm guessing she has... access to many things and apparently, I can infer that she must've noticed the transfer between Mori and Bruce. Also that Bruce told Alfred to notify The Wall that "Batman" will be coming over if you choose Eli Knable.

  • Thats the answer that I am looking for. Thanks.

I would say that Waller knows how to put two and two together, which is why she's the Director of The Agency. I mean it was sort of insinuated that Avesta may have had suspicions, plus considering Batman's tech being Wayne tech, Bruce having the money and power over Wayne tech, plus his association with Two-Face, Oswald, Victoria and John in the first season makes Bruce's connections with Batman rather clear and suspicious.

I try to play it as Bruce and his co. funding Batman, but not actually being the person himself.

  • It seems Waller knows Bruce Wayne = Batman quite early on.
Take a look at this footage, 13.37 minutes.

"Now a lot of things make sense". She made the connection already.

  • It isn't really surprising. Batman's identity was bound to be leaked. Batman's tech+the fact he worked with L.Fox+Bruce associated with past criminals should be obvious to anyone. I'm surprised the media aren't all over this since they ruined Bruce for meeting with Falcone.
