Well according to this tweet that was in may the sales reached 3 million then but I think twd still did better. But maybe once life is strange has been out as long as the walking dead has maybe life is strange will beat it.
Really? I know TwD sold a lot in mobile devices...
Anyways I still think Life os Strange is overrated, episode 4 was the best but episode 5 was terrible...
According to the SteamDB, the PC version did.
It sold ~4.6 million vs ~2.3 million, for TWD S1 (TT's best selling game on Steam, if I'm n… moreot mistaken).
Hell, according to the SteamDB, it's outsold the entirety of TWD franchise by a bit, with 4.6 million vs 4.1 million.
Of course these numbers only apply to the Steam versions of the games.

As someone who really enjoyed Life is Strange, I can only agree thats its overrated, I found it enjoyable, but not nearly the heartbreaking tragedy that people say it is, the most heartbreaking tragedy is how the ending choice invalidates the entire game

Almost every house you visit have a dictionary or a cooking book resting on a shelf somewhere, but it doesn't mean it's used often or even considered a good read.
Of course it's great when developers earn their well-deserved money, but I'm not sure if comparing sales it's significant unless it was just a mere curiosity of yours.

Why does it matter?
TWD sold 8 million copies in 2014 While some time ago LiS had reached one million copies sold.

That sounds like some outdated info, for LiS. At the very on the Steam Database it shows that it has close to 4.6 million owners.

So the gane as a whole sold about 5.5 million copies then. Surely that has reached 6 million by now.
