Oh my God A Telltale Staff Member commented on my Discussion!! I am extremely happy right now!! I want to say that I love the content that Telltale produce especially Walking Dead it is by far the best game series of all time in my opinion. I consider it a masterpiece. I do hope that everyone at Telltale will do us proud and make The Walking Dead The Final Season one to remember Thank you again and hope you and everyone at Telltale has a wonderful day!!
I was interning at AOL for their games website when a coworker told me about the first season of The Walking Dead. This was in between the f… moreourth and fifth episode releases, so I went and binged the first four episodes back at my dorm that night. Been a fan ever since... and now I work here! Crazy.
Walking Dead is a modern masterpiece in my opinion. I am obsessed with it haha. It makes me happy to see people say such nice things about a series I adore. I hope you and your boyfriend have a wonderful day
My boyfriend had been talking about TWD game because he knew I like the TV series, it was at the time when full season 2 came out 2014, so h… moree got it for me without telling. He thought that the previous season didn't matter, I didn't know anything about it so I just started playing, it was such a nice thing he did for me. Of course I was a bit confused, but I liked the game, and Clem! Sometime after that I played season 1 (and 400 days) so it made more sense then. But it wasn't until last year that I went crazy on Steam sale and bought like all the rest of Telltale games.
No regrets.
Same here! And thanks, what a nice comment, you too! Sad to see it end, I'm one of those who hope this is only the end for Clementine's story.. but final sounds pretty final I'm afraid.

Yes it is very sad to see it end but I would prefer for Telltale to end it while the fan base is strong and still love and care for the game than to continue it for like 20 seasons and everyone hates it.

For me it was The Walking Dead as well. It's pretty funny that the first time I heard about the game was actually through The Walking Dead gamer poop. But I haven't tried the game itself until later, shortly after the final episode of the first season was released, when I noticed it got several GOTY awards, so I decided that I might as well give it a try. And I'm glad I did.
I am happy you checked it out. I believe it is deserving of the numerous awards that it received. Thank you for commenting and I hope you have a nice day

I got in on the TTG fan scene wayyyy on the ground floor - I heard that the dev team behind (the tragically-cancelled) adventure game "Sam &… moreamp; Max: Freelance Police" had formed a new company and was doing an episode game based on Jeff Smith's comic series "Bone"... I think that was back in 2005? Little did I know, 8 years later (and playing almost everything Telltale made in that time*) I would join the company in the wake of their exploding post-TWD.
*Ironically, TWD was the only TTG game I HADN'T played when I interviewed. I was really hoping I could work on a new Puzzle Agent, hahaha.
Oh my God another Telltale staff member commented on my discussion! Thank you! I have already said this but I will say it again... Thank you for making amazing games like Walking Dead! I hope you have a very nice day!! P.S. keep hoping and you may be part of the development team for a new Puzzle Agent!!

What brought me to Telltale was a comment on a piece of news on the World of Monkey Island website back in September 2005 that said that Telltale Games had purchased the license to make Sam & Max games.
The comment itself said: "Unmentioned in this news update is the release of the the Telltale game, BONE. The download is the full game (75MB), but you will have to pay $20 to play it all. The demo portion of the download is free.
I mention this because if you want to see Sam&Max made, you might want to donate $20 to the hard-working Telltale Guys and play BONE. I'm sure any money they receive will help get Sam&Max made a little quicker."
I had never heard of Bone before, but decided to follow the link from the comment and give the game a spin. I paid the $20 before I even finished the demo and my love affair with Telltale Games had started.
For the next six years, I pre-ordered all their digital games and got the "deluxe-est" version of the hard copies when available. I really loved the fact that buying the digital version gave you access to the episodes as they were released and that at the end of a season, you could get the disc version for free and only pay for the shipping costs (or, for TOMI and BTTF, the deluxe version at a discounted price plus shipping).
While I still buy their games when they're a part of a Humble Bundle, I haven't played any since Poker Night 2 and am not planning on playing any of their newer games.
I miss the point-and-click era of Telltale Games, but am grateful for what we got and now look for my point-and-click fix elsewhere.
The Walking Dead S1 and Tales from the Borderlands led me to Telltale. I think I joined the forum (in lurk mode) somewhere in 2013, and then formally made an account in late 2014.
TWD was the series that got me interested however, and after that I started looking into their other games and I was hooked.
As much as I like to try and try and try to forget it's true, PewDiePie brought me here with his TWD let's play. Sometimes I cringe remembering I was once a fan of his horrid older content.

To be quite honest if I invented the time machine years from now the first thing I'd probably do is go back to when I was 13 years old and beat the shit out of myself for being a little shitlord.

Lol I broke my 2 of my fingers so I couldn't play destiny. So I tried this walking dead game I got for free on games for gold, never watched or read the comics. I thought it was gonna be a terrible qte fest until I played it and now I'm a huge twd fan and am actually glad I broke my fingers.
Was randomly shopping at Game Stop one day many years ago and asked an employee for recommendations and he pointed out The Walking Dead Season 1. I recall him selling me on the story aspect of the game and I also remember him talking about the Shawn/Duck choice.
Haha I watched PewDiePie play Walking Dead also. I loved it. I wanted to watch them again and I put on his first Walking Dead video. I noticed that he was very easily distracted and didn't seem like he cared about what was happening. That put me off watching his Walking Dead videos

That was a tricky choice! I saved Duck as I thought that it was the right thing to do. No matter what Shawn died but I thought that the most moral and good decision at the time was to save a young 10 year old childs life.

Don't look at page 3, you might have a heart attack.
...and I'm really hoping we get to play a new Puzzle Agent (or Poker Night) someday!
The Pilot Program from Telltale was a super cool concept, and I'd love to see some new and original gameplay styles emerge.
Watched pewdiepie play s1 wayyyyyyy back when it came out. twas' awesome so I stuck around and played the games for myself.

Yeah, me too. It's so cringey remembering your old personalities.
