hello everyone.
I'm new to the telltale games site, so before starting any discussions I would like to introduce myself first.
my name is hanif, and right now I'm 20.
I live in indonesia, which is located in the southeastern part of the asian region.
I speak 5 languages, which is english, german, a little japanese, a little bit of french, and a bit of spanish, and of course I speak indonesian, which is my main language in this country.
I actually can't see any thing at all, but it didn't stop me from playing video games (there are some games which are playable by me, which most of them are fighting games or side-scrolling beat-em-ups or braullers). I was introduced to telltale games by a friend of mine. he also can't see as well, but he also can play video games, one of them is a game from the telltale series.
my friend's name is soren jensen. at first, he told me and the rest of my community that some of the games from telltale are playable for me, so I tried that one, and the result is quite incredible.
I haven't beatten all of the games from telltale, I have to experiment more with all the mechanics of this series. one of the game that I've successfully completed is tales from the borderlands, which took me around 1 to 3 days to complete it, just because some of the parts in the game are pretty hard for me, but others are quite simple and easy.
if I am a telltale character, I could be garet or david (from the walking dead season 3).
Howdy, my name is Joel, I'm a middle-aged man and I live in America.
I used to have a daughter but she was shot and died in my arms. That was 20 years ago, by the way.
I now live in what we call a "Quarantine Zone" in Boston after a fungal infection broke out and destroyed the world we once knew.
I have a friend, her name is Tess. I have feelings for her but not sure if she feels the same way about me. We smuggle shit in and out of the quarantine zones to make a living.
Not sure why I'm writing my whole life story. I guess it's been a while since I've had internet. GOD THIS IS AMAZING.
Anyway...
My friend took a photo of me while I was unaware. Thought I'd post it here so y'all can see what I look like:
Shit, Clickers! Gotta go! (BTW, yes. That's me in my avatar. It was my friends hat, but alas, a baby she was taking care of passed away and she refused to accept it, it then reanimated into a Walker and devoured her. So I took her hat! I'm a nice guy)

Hey Joel, nice picture!
What's taking you so long? We've been waiting for you, Tess and the girl over at the capital building.
Hold on- someone's at the door. Could that be you guys?

I have light brown shoulder-length hair and a beard, often times I get called "Jesus", which I take as a compliment given what kind of man he was.
On that note I'm conflicted in regards to religion. I believe in Christianity - I think that to have a better world, I think Jesus had the right idea - however I have issues with organized religion, because I've seen so many who claim to be Christian, yet they don't seem to apply any of his teachings to their lives.
I'm not saying that to be a follower of Christ that you have to be perfect, because nobody is perfect. But what I am saying is:
"Don't tell someone to follow his teachings if you're deliberately going out and doing things you know he wouldn't approve of.
Holiness is in right action. You're actions, and inactions, show what you really are. You can talk a good game all you want, but if you're not practicing what you preach, then what you're telling others to do is hollow - it has no weight or substance to it. And people will see it for what it is, and despise you for it."
In general I don't like talking about politics because it often turns ugly. I tire of all the fighting between people who belong to different Political parties. I would rather live with people than argue and fight with them.
Hello, I'm AChicken, and as of today I am 19. Still scared of anything horror related, but recently discovered that psychological-manipulation-horror is my least favourite. Sends so many chills down my spine.
Anyway, tidbits:
Personal stuff? I'm from Canada and I speak English and French. I am going to university and I am studying Drama Studies. My passion and dream is to be an actor. I've taken many classes and summer camps involving theatre over the course of my life and it really stuck. Currently, the Drama-related classes are the only enjoyable ones for me, and the other Gen-Ed stuff I'm doing isn't all that appealing. And the campus I go to is small, so there isn't much selection. But, I make do. I'm surviving so far.
My biggest flaw I think would be that I worry too much. If I'm doing something (usually with others) I tend to worry and get hung up on all the bad things that could happen. Walking around town? I better not get mugged! .. On a rollercoaster? Let's hope it doesn't stop halfway through! .. On a plane? Please don't let it plummet out of the sky!
It's annoying -- even for me. I care about safety, any risk involved just triggers those thoughts. I don't go crazy, I keep them all to myself. But all the while I just can't stop thinking the worst possibilities.
I first discovered Telltale through the Walking Dead season 1. At the time, I had recently got into the show, and picked up the game soon after Episode 4 released, I believe.
Video games are my thing. I prefer games with a great engaging story, or simple but super fluid gameplay. If you were to ask me what were my favourites for each category, I'd say I don't know for story-based games.. there's just so many good ones. I'd say The Last of Us for gameplay. Fun to play, room to experiment, and a lot to use it on. Its multiplayer mode is probably the best I've ever played. Not too fast paced, not too many enemies to be up against (i.e. bulletstorm from every angle), and just fun every time.
Favourite genre? Action - Stealth. I really enjoy being the silent ninja, or secret agent. If it involves good stealth mechanics, I'll probably pick it up.
Favourite game? Uh... depends. I've had good fond experiences with the DS way back when: Ghost Trick, Prof. Layton, Mario and Luigi RPGs, all tickle my inner child nostalgia. Other bigger-budget things are great as well. Naughty Dog being a favourite of mine. Certain Telltale titles are up there too, for story.. Artsy-experience kind of games are great to go through. Journey, Abzu, Everything, etc.
I just can't choose... Games are awesome..
So people can just call me Furious, and I'm a girl (hopefully you've realized that by now with Titaness at the end of my name, lol), and I'm a teenager. I live in the Southeastern United States. The state I currently reside in is very hot and has too many tourists. Also, I'm homeschooled.
Favorite video game(s): Destiny 2, Star Wars Battlefront 2, and Fortnite. I'm also into a few computer games as well. Favorite food: Steak or Spaghetti (not both at once, mind you). Favorite hobby: I'm more of the creative type; I write fanfictions and home stories constantly. I also LOVE drawing; and I'm getting pretty good at it. Favorite movies and books: Anything Sci fi or Fantasy will do, although I'm not really into Harry Potter or Doctor Who. Favorte music: Tough to say... I love music. If I had to choose, I'd say classic rock, along with a bit of modern groups (specifically Imagine Dragons). Also love movie/game soundtracks.

Epcot:
I don't know, really. I've only started going since my dad bought season passes earlier this year. Were Soarin' and the Chevrolet Test Track there when you went? Those are the two newest rides from what I've heard; and the Test Track is definitely exhilarating (it's my favorite ride there). They also renovated Mission: Space so that it's more modern and the slightest more fun. Definitely avoid it though if you or your wife have motion sickness or are claustrophobic (if you don't already know this). Funny you ask; I'm actually planning on going to Epcot tomorrow night. Water Parks:
Typhoon Lagoon is more fun than Blizzard Beach, IMO. It fits the mood of an actual water park more (mainly because Blizzard Beach plays Christmas carols all the time). Typhoon Lagoon has more thrilling attractions overall, such as the Crush N'Gusher and a better wave pool. Blizzard Beach has a cooler (temperature-wise) lazy river. Extra note on Typhoon Lagoon: Every thirty minutes (I think it's thirty minutes; can't tell because I never bring a watch) or so, a ship's whistle and a fog horn sound. Every hour the wave pool switches cycles from huge waves every two minutes to smaller waves constantly. Hollywood Studios:
I've only been here once, but I can tell you Rock and Roller Coaster is definitely the most fun ride besides Tower of Terror (which I was too scared to go on). If you're by the theater, employees decked out in full First Order Stormtrooper outfits occasionally walk by. Sometimes they might even stop to ask you if you've seen any Resistance spies lurking nearby. Animal Kingdom:
Banshee Flight of Passage, Expedition Everest and the safari are the top three rides. Magic Kingdom:
If you're planning on spending the whole day, avoid Tom Sawyer's island and the Thunder Mountain Railroad. As fun as they are, they take up A LOT of time. Seven Dwarves' Mine Train is fun, just the line is SUPER LONG. We've been going to Disney for months now and STILL haven't reserved a Fast Pass for it. It might be less crowded though if you're going on a weekday. The fireworks show is definitely worth seeing, but you have to be at the front of the Cinderella Castle to be able to enjoy it because they project lights on it along with the fireworks; and you have to find a spot at least 30 mins early (or just avoid the hassle and watch the whole dang thing on YouTube). If the Monorail line is crowded when you exit the park (unless you're staying a the Contemporary Resort and need to ride the Monorail) go back on the Ferry Boat. It's quite pretty out on the lake.
Sorry for the novel's worth of advice clogging up the forum, but I hope it helps and that you and your wife have a wonderful time!

Good day, everyone. My name is Ryuken, and I'm a man who loves to sing, act, and spin the gears in my mind as well as play video games. I'm a 19-year old from the great state of Texas here in America studying Musical Theater. Now I'll go a bit into some tidbits:
I'm a fan of Ace Attorney, Kingdom Hearts, Zelda, and- of course- Telltale.
I have currently played through The Walking Dead Season 1 & 2, Minecraft Ep 1-4, and The Wolf Among Us.
My medium for playing the games is through a Samsung phone, so... yeah, no PC or Steam atm.
If you all have any questions, go ahead and shoot em.

Ok. Hi everyone my name is Dylan. I am currently 17 years old as it is my birthday today. I suffer from Depression and I am currently going to a counsellor for help (sorry if that seems like a sob story I just wanted to provide an insight to what I am like)
I try to be as friendly as I can to people I meet in real life and of course on these threads.
I love Telltales The Walking Dead. It is my favourite game series and is, in my opinion the best Games Series of All Time. I love the characters and the stories of each Season. I guess you can say that I have an emotional attachment to the game.
My favourite Telltale Characters are Clementine,Lee Javier and Kenny (in that order)
If I were to compare myself to a Telltale Character(s) I would have certain attributes of characters like Lee,Kenny,Javier, Gabe, Rhys and Fiona.
I try to do the right thing and I am a bit sarcastic and make jokes on my current situation.
I
also try to look out for my family especially my brothers.
I want to show people that I can step up and be a crucial member of a team or anything of the sort.
I also highly value loyalty but I can also flip out at times not to be dramatic or anything but that is due to loss of a family member, losing friends and the current phase that I am going through.
Please note that I did not make that up and I am sure that there are better Telltale characters that can be better suited for my personality but these are the ones that I think of when I think of myself. Thanks for reading!! ?
Welcome to the forum, Dylan.
I appreciate you spelling "favourite" the correct way
It's funny(odd), I went through similar situations when I was younger(depression/psychiatry/loss of an immediate family member) and well, keep up the fight. Life has it's merits. It might be tough now, but life is a series of ups and downs. The good shall come.

Don't worry about people thinking of this as sob stories, they wouldn't know what's going on in your life. We all need help sometimes.
Keep pushing through, and I hope we all support you well!

Thank you so much!! I love this community. It is by far the most friendly community that I have seen. There are many toxic communities out there but I am happy that this community is so welcoming and friendly!
Welcome, nice to meet you, and happy birthday!

I certainly hope so. I know that life has its positives but when I feel down the positives seem nonexistent. I have had depression for numerous years however I am now receiving help. So hopefully I will get past it. And thanks again for that comment ?

I can really relate to your situation because I've lost someone too, about four years ago and I went trough the same stuff. I don't like talking about these things because, like you said, it can sound like a sob story.

Thank you! I must say, I’m quite a sucker for the series, I believe I’ve had three or four icons relating to at least one of the characters. And you picked a great starter icon, a lot of people in the Walking Dead section still love Lee
I hope your appointment goes well or went well if it already happened! If you ever need to vent on something and don’t want to vent about it in the thread for it, I’ll be happy to listen

I'm a sucker, too. I have an avatar of Link and Hajime (the best DR protagonist imo) side by side, but I need to set up a gravatar to use it. And as for this avatar, it was a tossup between Lee or Bigby. I even considered Clementime just because she's the most awesome protagonist, but in the end, I connected with Lee the most.

hello everyone.

So.. that's a bit of me.
Well, that's mostly it.

What park you going to in Disney? I could possibly provide you with advice since I've been to all of them more than once.
We’re going to all of them. We’ve been before (it’s where I proposed to my Wife in 2009).
Has anything changed at Epcot since?
Sorry for the novel's worth of advice clogging up the forum, but I hope it helps and that you and your wife have a wonderful time!
...What if you got a part in a horror movie... about KFC?! * cue flash of lightning *
...Now that's just taking things too far!
*Ahem *
Good day, everyone. My name is Ryuken, and I'm a man who loves to sing, act, and spin the gears in my mind as well as play video games. I'm a 19-year old from the great state of Texas here in America studying Musical Theater. Now I'll go a bit into some tidbits:
If you all have any questions, go ahead and shoot em.
Another Texan?! No way!
Welcome to the forums
Welcome to the forums, sir.
Cool. Welcome!
The good shall come.
hi my name is trey and i got a basketball game tomorrow i'm a point guard and i got shoe game
Welcome, nice to meet you, and happy birthday!
I certainly hope so. I know that life has its positives but when I feel down the positives seem nonexistent. I have had depression for numerous years however I am now receiving help. So hopefully I will get past it. And thanks again for that comment ?
Hey man, welcome to the forum and happy birthday!
I can really relate to your situation because I've lost someone too, about four years ago and I went trough the same stuff. I don't like talking about these things because, like you said, it can sound like a sob story.
If you need to talk to someone, I'm here dude.
Happy belated birthday, it’s nice to meet you!
Don’t worry about your comment sounding like a sob story, some people have a lot going on in their lives and need to talk about it somewhere. I’ve been there before, but I hope you have happier days than you did last year
Thanks for the welcome, fellow Texan.
And may I say, I'm really loving your avatar. tips detective cap
Lol. I live in Texas also.
Thank you so much!! Same to you if you ever need someone to talk to you can talk to me ?
Thank you so much!! This year has been good so far! I have an appointment with my counsellor today. I am still being assessed to see whether or not I require any sort of medication to help me. But thanks again for the comments to you and to everyone else. This is such an amazing Community!!!
