I believe it came down to the thread content, as if I recall they were joke threads. Did you wish to present a serious discussion for a romance with one of these gentlemen? As far as the game itself is concerned, there's only one instance that I would even remotely consider Bane acting in a friendly manner towards Bruce, and even that was threatening. ( That would've been when he was discovered outside of the Spa, as Bane claimed he wasn't following him but alluded that he'd gone to Wayne Tower to help him with the police. )

id love to see a john/bruce romance personally. even if its not 100% an option, just some implied more-than-friendship stuff would be nice. … moreim begging for scraps here telltale, ill take anything at this point.. i know its not for everyone, thats why having it be completely ///Optional/// would obviously be the way to go. if you never saw anything romantic between them, then youd probably never even run across the option. this is such a different dynamic for batman and joker anyway, why not explore as many different angles of it as we can? this is probably the friendliest theyve ever been with each other, if a batman/joker romance were to exist in any media i think this game is definitely the place for it. no batman comic would ever go that far, but this game? i can totally see it.

Yes, I mean, I already said that I don't pretend to know about how knowledgeable the people on the forums is regarding the comics. But for what I seen, only very, very hardcore fans are asking for Batman/Joker romance. Or at least people that have read mostly when these two characters are always together.

I'm also an avid comic reader too, and while I undersand people's refusal of the paring (yes, I actually do understand) many people have taken it out of context and outright attacking the idea, while very few have given lots constructive criticism too, of course.
