Brody is a female teenager who is speaking to Clementine in the teaser. My theory is that The Boarding School group have captured her becaus… moree past conflicts in her group with the adult faction and they turn out to be the bad guys. Clementine will have to decide which side she is on. Also the group are being held at gun point so maybe it’s the adult faction, with maybe some returning characters. They have come to The Boaring School for Brody.
I think her getting the bandage is non-determinant. Marlon finds Clem but something separates her from AJ, maybe someone else finds him, or Marlon has to leave Clem behind to protect AJ and bring to his home. Then, when you're close to the base, you see him looking for you and he welcomes you, tying the bandage, saying AJ is all safe and that stuff.
I wonder if that head wound we saw on Clem is like the finger in ANF, dependent on how things were done in ANF. I'm having a hard time imagi… morening how, considering so much time has passed since ANF unless it's a past decision that affected her behavior, in which case it could be from any season, really.
Compared to Garcia family weed breaks and love triangles yes I would prefer a boarding school full of teenagers and young adults. Aj asking if it’s safe here is a wise thing. If that’s wise are you alright. You fucking wrote x D wtf Is wrong with you.
I agree, for some odd reason I have this hunch that The Boarding School group is keeping some major secret
I have a pretty decent idea of what that may involve, but I'll save that for relevance.
If I even remember.
The parents and probably other school faculty/students all died in the process of the apocalypse. They probably turned trying to protect the rest of the group.
What we've got right now are the lucky few who survived.
I'm still getting a bit of a goonies vibe. No not in the comedic sense but in the sense that is a game about teens that is being made for teens. Where teens are the heroes despite there being little realistic reason why they would be the heroes and able to survive this far into the apocalypse.
Of course you can't really make much of a 45 sec teaser and it very well may be a lot deeper than that. But I still think there needs to be a very good reason why these kids have survived and so far I havn't seen it. Right now all I'm seeing is that this is an adventure being written like some of those old style rpg type games where the characters are all really young for no other reason than the a good portion of the people who will play it will be pretty young as well and they can relate to characters of that age.
I was thinking that it would be that she has grown towards Clementine and fears for her safety. But @thewalkingclementine already informed me that it is a character named Brody.
But yeah sorry I didn’t really think it through when I thought it was Violet

Probably cause the few times where combat comes up, it's either as a stealthy sequence or with characters that had some sort of handheld weapon with them. Otherwise it's usually in an area and/or with a group that is fuckin loaded with em.
Also, you can't eat and receive nutrients from bullets.
AJ and Ten's clothes should be swapped around.
What makes you say that?
And AJ should have shorter hair.
Aw, but his fro is groovy .
Well, you should write it somewhere and then just before the episode releases you should make a thread. Ples don't forget.

Not trying to be negative but they do have a point. It's the Final Season and the majority of characters are brand new. I'm not sure if that's such a good idea

idk I guess AJ would look cooler with blue clothes, you kow, how it matches Clem's attire. As for Ten, I guess green would suit his personality more, based on the early description and his body language.

State an opinion that runs counter to the majority and this appears to be the usual result.
FWIW, I share a similar perspective--a familiar formula that seldom deviates from the norm (i.e., what works) and it is not restricted to these games. Movies, TV, and the like follow this
pattern.
I believe some might have forgotten the teaser trailer and screenshots for ANF...and we know what happened.

The teaser was good, but I'm not completely sold yet. The whole main cast being teenagers isn't something I'm all that keen for, really, since Telltale struggled last time and fictional teenage characters have a tendency of being...well, cringy, but the reveal of Nate (because there's not a doubt that it isn't him) does make me a lot more interested in what they'll do this time.
Still, I'll wait and see when it's released. I'm not going to jump straight onto Telltale's train, but I'm not going to ditch it either. Or something like that...I don't know.
Im worried for the teenage cast due to them just not showing them. Seems like any real gameplay or story we get focuses on Clem and Aj, but refuses to touch on the other characters, which kinda worries me that those characters will end up being a disaster.

Well didn't they say the main focus and drive of the season was going to be Clem and AJ's relationship. That's probably why most of what they're showing off pertains to that, and the idea that they don't want to give too much of the story away. I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just saying that there might be other reasons for them doing this.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. A few scenes with even just one of them would be great right about now. Just something to at least see some character from them.
Still, they do have one saving grace right off the bat. None of them are Gabe. And I doubt even if they are a disaster that they'll be as bad as him. Hopefully, anyway...

Except we saw literally no gameplay leading up to ANF's release... we got the one teaser trailer and a lot of hype and lies from upper management. TFS has explained in depth what we can expect and then SHOWN us via gameplay. Expecting the ANF mistakes to repeat themselves in TFS is already unfair because the circumstances leading up to their release are completely different, not to mention the fact that Telltale has now proven that there will be hubs, dynamic combat, collectibles, a focus on character relationships, etc.

Fair points. However, PR is PR and until I experience it from a first person perspective, I will approach this game with a degree of skepticism, as I had with the preceding entries. I will be disappointed if the Rewind option is unavailable.

What you just said made no sense at all.
He's more at risk to being grabbed than she was, she had a hat covering most of her head.
It's really stupid, I dunno who they're tryin to appeal to, are afros really coming back in style?

Ooooh, the principal. Mine was a lovely woman, but a tyrannical teacher.
If the boarding school is 100% teenagers, what happened to all of their parents? You'd think that atleast someones parents/caretakers survived

Haha, I've had my share of devious thoughts in school. But fortunately, I got over them once I took a nap.
well i hope your happy with it
I've kinda hear her as a "tough-ish" bumpkin myself.
I mean, it's possible.
Eeeh, something like that.

Again, rather typical conclusion to draw. It's not your fault.
Come out and say it!!
what the fuck did chuck tell us in season 1 about big mops of hair?
seriously, does telltale not remember their own story?
interesting... why?
Not with that attitude you won't!
Not trying to be negative but they do have a point. It's the Final Season and the majority of characters are brand new. I'm not sure if that's such a good idea
Lmao what else they could do?
I don't know what you expected. Most of the characters from past seasons are dead.
To be fair, an afro like his seems more solid and less of a mess compared to what Clementine used to have.
idk I guess AJ would look cooler with blue clothes, you kow, how it matches Clem's attire. As for Ten, I guess green would suit his personality more, based on the early description and his body language.
Excactly beause then it would've been a repeat of season 2.
Nah, that's for the better.
Hm...maybe.
What was that early description again?
Idk, doesn't seem all that exciting to be honest.

Well, tell that to Telltale.
They swapped Luke and Nick's clothes around before, maybe they'll listen to you hehe.
probly not.

But thats gonna make me worry that its only going to focus on them and make every side character feel meaningless and replaceable again.
