Okay, i must say it: UI in this game is really terrible... Best UI was in ANF. I mean... time bar in choices is unreadable, QTE UI is horrible (this buttons animation...!)...

And yes, I pay a lot of attention to such things.
Telltale could leave the interface from ANF.
SIEE Update: The demo should be available to customers by midnight PT / 8 am London (on Aug 1st), but could be available as early as 4 pm PT… more / midnight London.
I'm sorry about the delay. Hold tight! Hoping the store sorts itself out sooner rather than later.
If it is released for PC there will be leaks through the game files. You want to be spoiled by leaks or you want to go into the episode blind? I think that is the right choice on Telltale`s end.
I have made peace with this decision...it is wrong and I think the demo could have brought back a lot of jaded PC owners...but I am sure Telltale knows better.
As a PC player of these games, I'm perfectly ok with console players getting a demo of the fifteen minutes TTG has already shown. I really don't see the big deal. It's fine. We're getting the full game in just a couple weeks. I fail to see how giving a limited group a demo of what's already been released a PR blunder, but it's whatever. I'm just a guy with an opinion...
I doubt u can leak anything, since the demo is almost 3gb and not 15 gb as the full game is.
It isn't really the right choice, since they kind of already have separated all the content.

It is still possible, Telltale leaves audio in their games the most and audio files dont take up that much space, so it is possible there could be some audio in the demo for scenes we havent seen yet

The leftovers of audio files and character or location models can be there and they are there for sure. I get it that you are doubtful, but stuff like that happens and happened before with bigger companies, so if you don`t want to be spoiled, that is the best approach and I am thankful Telltale did it.

This did occur a number of times in season 2 (if i recall correctly, Kenny's reappearance was discovered by searching through the season 2 episode 1 files)

Some people would also like to play the demo themselves firsthand rather than just watching/hearing others play the game. To the point of 'limited' people that 'limited' group is basically the majority of the players who can play the game with PC exclusively being left out.

The demo has such a shitty menu. It’s just the old Netflix-esque menu their past 5 games had... truly hope it’s not the final menu design - especially since they kept saying the menu would be something unique and something we’d be happy with.

Nobody is shafting PC players. Stop being so insecure. This is the best choice Telltale could have made. You really want to be spoiled that much? I don`t believe that. So what if you do not get to play 15 minutes that they showed already? The episode releases in two weeks, have some patience, Jesus.
So this isn't a big thing at all, but I'm just curious if when the full episode is released, we'll have to play through the demo again? Again, it's fifteen minutesish, so it doesn't really matter. Just wondering!

They said it was a small surprise. And as I have said, it'n not that big of a deal. However, think about this: if a small surprise is a 15 minute demo of a TTG episode, how long is the actual episode? In the past, a 15-20 minute demo of a TTG game would be a nice piece of the game already revealed. They have confidence to not only release a 15-20 minute demo, but to also call it small. I'm not saying I'm getting my hopes up, but this is making me raise an eyebrow.

That's pretty much where I am with this demo too. The fact they released a demo at all has me thinking that maybe these episodes will have a pretty hefty time to complete.

You can, but it is not practical. Consoles have twice or even triple the protection on the files, so it's a lot more difficult to extract the files of any game. Newer games take a long time to decrypt, so I wouldn't even expect the demo to be extracted at all before full release.
Well no leaks so far. If it was released on PC the leaks would already reach these forums, cause it is much easier to crack files on PC. So yeah, your argument is invalid.
There is not going to be a rewind feature in a 15 minutes long demo. Well, you know, because the scene that we saw is 1 scene. Soooo you can rewind it by playing the demo again, right? Did you catch that?

I could be wrong on this, but haven't all the leaks pertaining to the walking dead been on Telltales end rather then hackers?. To the point of the gameplay some would like to play firsthand themselves rather than just hearing hearsay/video from others even if it is just a 15 minute video. I also think it does come off to some PC users as 'shafting' or 'disregarding' due to PC being exclusively left out as the sole device if the 3 current platforms. Not to mention telltale has said nothing as to an official reason why PC was excluded (leaving only speculation and puzzlement).

I don’t know you but I played and read everything with no problems at all

I just do not think it is a reason to shaft PC players.

I think it looked great. Loved the colors, loved the artwork, loved the S1 reference, pretty amazing in my humble opinion
Oh a demo....OK
The Walking Dead: The Final Season demo is available on PlayStation 4 in Europe now.
Wow I just played the demo and i cant wait to play the first episode complete , you got these telltale
I could be wrong, but haven't all the leaks from TWD/Telltale been a result of Telltale themselves rather then dataminers or hackers?
To be fair PC isn't a priority platform for Telltale.

Wait wait when was this said?
Its the 15-20 minutes of gameplay footage that was revealed a few weeks ago.
I'll take that as a no.
I do hope it comes out on Steam on release day and its not delayed.
coolio
I'm pretty sure both consoles have a considerably larger user base 3 years later lol

I think you`ll have to. You will transfer your saves and everything and then you start episode 1 as new. Not a big deal though, as you mentioned.

Just wanna remind everyone that you can get and extract PS4 files aswell, so it's not the reason for not releasing demo on PC!
Now that the demo is released, is scene rewind back or am I effectivelly parting ways with Telltales games once and for all?

It isn't really 1 scene, they were actually 2 scenes, because u do get a loading black screen after the car scene.
Okay, you`re right. So someone needs a rewind after a 3 minute long scene? I doubt that.
