You aren't forced to snap on Vernon. You can just say that you have to think about it and then Vernon will understand that. Walking away peacefully

Discounting 400 Days and never played Michonne. Season One: 1) Around Every Corner - yep, you're reading that right. As much as it dragg

  • If I want to reject his offer straight up, then I have to.

  • Just seems odd, considering.

    Huh?

  • I'm not getting the logic here. If you're on about Jane then wouldn't NGB have been a better example?

  • Considering that's more about Kenny, with Jane shoehorned in half-heartedly to be suddenly the ultimate alternative...no, not exactly.

  • You could still by a fan of Jane and realize the flaws of Amid the Ruins though.

    1. No Time Left
Shortest episode of the best season but it's the best because of the writing, the great send off of Lee's character, the conversation between him and the Stranger, the Mansion fight etc.
    2. A House Divided
My favorite episode of Season 2 because of the first minutes with Pete/Nick, Clem teaching Sarah how to use a gun (Which was wasted in the worst episode of Season 2), the reunion with Kenny, Carver's introduction and the capture scene.
    3. No Going Back
Nick Breckon was the best writer of Season 2, I still don't get why he didn't write Episode 3 and 4. While there are some moments that I despise a lot (Like Arvo shooting Clem, Luke's death, Bonnie and Mike betraying the group, Jane's motivation for killing Kenny), it still had a great atmosphere, great conclusions and Kenny had a great development. The Leaving with Kenny ending is the moment that made cry the most out of all of Season 2 (Thanks to ANF, the best ending was ruined).
    4. Starved For Help
Great villains, great exploration, choices mattering but St. Johns being cannibals was too predictable and Mark was introduced out of nowhere, he gets killed and is never mentioned again.
    5. All That Remains
Great premiere for Season 2, I love the introduction of the Cabin Group and Clem sneaking around the cabin but I was never a fan of Omid and Christa falling out of the map.
    6. Long Road Ahead
It has the best puzzles and hub exploration but the pacing felt a little bit off. The best part was the Bandit raid, Kenny's family's demise and Lee teaching Clem how to defend herself.
    7. In Harm's Way
Decent episode but it didn't have enough exploration in Howe's Hardware, most of the cabin group didn't have development (Especially Nick), 400 Days characters were wasted, Bonnie's stupid jacket, Reggie's character, Carver gets killed too early, Alvin's sacrifice made no sense etc.
    8. A New Day
Great start of the series but didn't age very well.
    9. Around Every Corner
Longest episode of Season 1, yet it had the worst pacing. The built-up for Crawford's community was for nothing because it was dead for while, none of the new characters came back in the finale (Vernon's group stealing the boat off-screen doesn't count), the objective of getting supplies for the boat meant nothing because Episode 5 is all about saving Clementine and Lee's fate and that's it, Chuck, despite being the biggest reason why Clementine is still alive, just gets killed off-screen and no one is concerned about him and this episode gave us too many stupid reasons to hate Ben just so we can fully decide his fate at the end of Episode 4, wasn't him leaving Clem behind enough? Ben getting the hatchet from the locked doors in hallway of Crawford school was too forced.
    10. Thicker Than Water
Best episode of the worst TWD season but it doesn't say much. Joan was still a dimensional character, Gabe still acts like a whiny child and can throw his uncle under the bus for killing Conrad (Something Gabe told him to do), Kate is still on making Javier betray his brother and become his lover.
    11. Above The Law
First half of the game was good but it turns to shit in the second and it's the only episode that has no hub exploration (Group finding a way into the warehouse is just a QTE exploration). Too many stupid QTE action sequences and all of them just happen after a few emotional scenes. The only good moment was Javier hugging Clementine after the flashback.
    12. Amid The Ruins
I CANNOT stand this piece of shit. It was written by the writer of the Outlast games who wasn't even a Telltale employee, a lot of characters who had potential gets killed in shitty ways, Nick dies on a fence and didn't even have any dialogue (Luke didn't even have a huge reaction on his death, despite being friends for 20 years), Sarah is mercilessly treated like shit, they didn't even let players who saved her live for another episode and dies in the same painful way (Why was she getting so much hate? She didn't do anything wrong) and everything is focused on Jane who is such a rip off of Molly and an excuse to have give us more screentime for badasses like Molly. She distracts Luke from doing his job, thus causing Sarah (If saved) and herself (In ANF) to die. Choices don't mean jack shit, I didn't rob Arvo, yet he still wanted to ambush my group. J.T. Petty, you stay away from TWD and never touch it again, you first did this and now Outlast 2 which was such a garbage running simulator game with a story that makes me go WTF is going on?
    13. Ties That Bind
Worst premiere of a season, so many lies given by Kevin Bruner and other Telltale staff (Episode 1 split in 2 parts because it was too big, Clem is a co-PC, biggest season so far, this is Javier AND Clementine's story, no one will take a backseat, Season 2 endings will have a big impact), Season 2 endings are thrown in the trash can instantly, we are playing as someone we have never met before, Clementine is just there so the game can attract the old players.
    14. From The Gallows
What garbage is this? It's so fucking unfinished, I had no idea what was going on anymore, all the character arcs had unsatisfying conclusions, plot holes everywhere, unexplained character motivations, Javier's choices don't mean jack shit etc. Other than Gabe's sweet death (Which should have happened in Episode 1), there is NOTHING good about From The Gallows, what is even there to like other than what I mentioned? They didn't even add cut content to make this episode longer like Clementine's babysitter flashback. Also, the game ends with Clementine still looking for AJ and The Final Season just begins with her reunited with AJ and keep moving forward, no scene with both of them finally meeting each other. What's worse is that this is the only episode of this season which isn't written by a lot of people.

Didn't include 400 Days and Michonne because they are all mediocre at the best.
