Everyone relax: Just because TFS might be cancelled doesn't mean Clem's story is over.

edited September 2018 in The Walking Dead

I'm saying this out of hope, not certainty; Clem is a Skybound property, so this means that Kirkman can do two things: either finish her story in a mini-series or introduce her to the main comics. I believe this is a likely possibility seeing as Robert Kirkman loves the story TT has created these past few years, and he's been supportive of Clem's journey.

Either way, there is still hope we get to see Clem's story come to a close (or a continuation!). I know if this happens, it's not going to be a game and we won't be able to make decisions on how Clem's story will end, but at least we might have closure. It's the best chance we've got at this point.

  • But I also really like Telltale :(

  • I would be fine if they did a comic mini series showing what happens in episodes three and four. I’d love play the game but comic or novel be fine.

I would hope Kirkman could do that. Would be such a respectful thing to do for the fans. This can't fucking end on a cliffhanger.

  • Obviously, there's no hope for TT and it sucks for all the employees who lost their jobs--the good news for them is the community and industry have been very supportive after this news broke.

I just want to see the ending to Clem's story and I don't want it to be left unfinished.

  • Absolutely. A perpetually unending cliffhanger with zero resolution would be an insane punch to the gut that I hope just won't happen.

  • If TFS is cancelled, then that’s the only way to close her story.
