ISN'T THERE ANY COMPANY OR SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP TELLTALE

I mean yeah maybe Nintendo or idk a rich fan can help them...

Comments

  • They could, but I doubt anyone would want to buy them. Some people hoping for Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft to pick them up, and I just don't see it happening, as much as I would love for someone to do it.

  • Skybound is the only company that I can think of but Telltale as a company is history.

  • I'm willing to bet the Skybound is going to help them out and at least finish TFS.

  • I see Insomniac Games as the right company to buy TT, I have been with them for 10 years. Playing the Spyro OG trilogy and owning every Ratchet and Clank game to date, I have been kinda disappointed with their latest reboot for the series but immediately got my praises for the new Spiderman. A good developer at heartand talented too. Also good used to be good friends with TTG!

I recommend playing RaC: a Crack in Time (2009) to get a better look on how they make games so good and entertaining. But that’s just me, a desperate fanboy :(.

  • Telltale itself is done. Skybound might somehow figure out a way to finish TWD, but the chances aren’t great. That being said I’m sure we’ll get some form of resolution, but god knows how or when.

  • Skybound opened up the license for them to start making games, so hopefully. But I doubt they'll do anything.

At this point, no company will buy Telltale in the state they’re in.

As for TWDG, only Skybound decides on what to do with Clementine (if Episode 2 is the last episode). Your best chance of seeing her again and her story ending is in a comic book. Or a game if we’re lucky.

  • I really wouldn't want to see her conclusion end in a comic book, because then, you wouldn't be able to incorporate your choices into it.

  • inb4 EA buys it and makes choices microtransactions.

I can't accept an ending like this, and I would wait YEARS (if necessary) to have a well-deserved end for my Clem. Just. Don't. Let. Her. Story. Unfinished.

About Lilly: I was SO happy abour seeing her again... oh well, life sucks

  • I'd rather just see it end up in limbo...

  • True, but it’s probably the best thing we can get if TFS is canned.

  • At this point, I would take anything. I just want to see Clem's story have some sort of conclusion, it's unfair to see years of investment go down the tube with no resolution.

  • Me too. Clementine’s story will conclude sooner or later. Not sure how, but i’m positive we’ll see her again in the future.

  • I care more about the walking dead being finished than Telltale being bought by another company, but I guess Microsoft could buy them out.
Personally I'd like to see DONTNOD finish TFS for Telltale. If not them, then Arkane studios, Naughty Dog, or Capcom

Well I kind of want it to be somewhat good, so I hope that doesn't happen. Last thing I need is for Clem to say hella and Louis to become Warren.

    1. How dare you? LiS was the greatest point-and-click game available during its time.
    2. Don't ever disrespect DONTNOD again for as long as you live. I don't care if this forum is fading into oblivion, I'll still ban you :D :|

  • Well, at least we will have LiS2 next week.

You realize if Mircosoft buys out Telltale? That means every single future Telltale game will be exclusive for sometime before it goes to Playstation or any other company who wants the game.

  • Naughty Dog would do wonders for this game, but I have an Xbox. I’ve always had an Xbox so I would never want that to happen.

Skybound is pretty much our only hope and they aren’t exactly known for video games. There a few likely companies out there but I doubt they’d bother, considering the news.

  • Maybe Valve could buy them out like they did Campo Santo. I feel like Telltale should have tried being bought out a while ago.

Honestly hope some game company comes out and says they want to buy all of Telltales unfinished games because thats the only hope of a Wolf S2 happening.

  • That might actually happen, here's hoping.
