Try to not get your hopes up but... It was said that the only planned romances were Violet and Louis without ruling out flirting. So assuming Clem is alive by the end of the season and Violet/Louis are dead (let's be real: it's very likely this will happen or their fates will be determinant at most) or just parts ways with her. Then maybe Clem stays with James by the end of the season and then we get an option to flirt with him. We don't get to start a romance but it can be implied they got together by the end. It's better than nothing...
Also, I don't really think we'll have a lot of romantic interactions with Violet and Louis anyway. Romance is not the focus of this game and there are a lot of characters to develop.

But for real though, from the comment Mr. Mudle had on reddit he said that he didn't rule out flirting.
That could mean there is a likely chance there is at least some dialougue alluding to this, even if it's just a joke. We already had some joking around with this already. And with this, there's a chance this 'joke' may carry on through future episodes.
